Great local company, friendly service, and no nonsense, would definitely use them again!

JW Plastering Building services provided a fast and quality job for me and got to the job done quick and efficiently would recommend 10/10

Amazing work! 👏 they have the need to get the job done to an excellent standard and on time, especially when terrorists are protesting in the middle of the road😊

Very bad work done on my property. Completely ruined the walls to the point I had to get someone else to rectify their mistakes. Would not recommend

Super friendly team, quick to see us and start working. Helped guide us the right way and explained things well. Great work plastering inside the house with a brilliant finish inside and out. Lots of other tradespeople remarking on the standard of work! Left the place looking great after all the hard work, too. Would highly recommend JW!

I highly recommend JW Plastering! Jimmy and his team are exceptional—extremely skilled, professional, and a pleasure to work with. They’ve completed several commercial projects for me, consistently delivering work of the highest standard and, most importantly, always meeting deadlines as agreed. Their plastering work is truly as good as it gets. In addition to plastering, I’ve also relied on JW Plastering for demolition works. Once again, their expertise and professionalism shone through. The team executed the work with precision, knowledge, and efficiency, ensuring everything was completed on time and to a high standard. If you’re looking for a reliable, top-tier team for plastering or demolition, JW Plastering is the way to go. Highly recommended!

Jimmy and his co workers were absolutely amazing. They hacked back our walls to the stone, re rendered and replasterd them The finish was like glass and they sorted a long standing damp issue ( about 8 years) Very clean, polite and tidy, but make sure you get the biscuits in!

They carried out the work flawlessly and quickly, I had a hole in some dry wall and the repair is perfect! Not only was it a job well done I was provided with aftercare advice, and they even cleaned up afterwards. Top quality job, really nice guys, I cannot recommend enough

Excellent job, finished extremely quickly and to a high standard. Would highly recommend.

First time using this company and was very impressed. Bumpy bedroom ceiling was skimmed and finished perfectly. The job was described to me and I was kept informed of progress. JW and his colleagues were respectful and considerate and completed the work, tidying and cleaning up after them. Very pleasant and would certainly recommend and use again. Thank you 😊

Excellent service again from JW Plastering for 2 bedrooms with the work done quickly, efficiently and to a very high standard. The team communicated well with us and kept us up to date on progress. Would highly recommend. Living room also done to a high standard. 3rd job done in the house to an excellent standard!! Many thanks to JW Plastering

Thank you Jim and David for an excellent job on our Summer Kitchen,. Extremely tidy and the finish on our render is unbelievable. i would highly recommend Jim. Outstanding work. Thank you

jimmy and david did a terrific job at our victorian terraced house. They were very considerate of the neighbours as access to the back of the house was tricky. The job was to tackle a damp back bedroom . The outer wall was stripped and completely renewed and decorated. The work was first class. The same applied inside. The work took 20 days and every day the site was left spotless. We experienced little or no dust. Jimmy was unfazed by problems encountered such as replacing rotten lintels and replacing a lot of crumbling brick work. Very friendly, helpful and professional.Highly recommended.

Fantastic work on my media wall, so pleased

Lovely guys did a brilliant job, would highly recommend

Very friendly and professional. They did a fantastic job replastering my bathroom walls and left it spotless afterwards. Highly recommended!

We used Jimmy and his team/brothers to virtually replaster and board our whole house, can't reccomend them enough. Really high quality of work and happy to sort out loads of odd jobs along the way, they rectified some poor work we had done and also worked in a chaotic building site without any moans at all.

Replastered my hall ceiling after it was damaged by a water leak. The work was done quickly and cleanly, very professional and polite, and cleaned up after the work was done. Thanks!

It was a pleasure to have Jimmy and David. They were punctual, polite and very clean and tidy. The standard of work is excellent, I can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you.

Jim came to our rescue very swiftly after water came through our bedroom ceiling from the kitchen and bathroom of the upstairs flat. He made sure the damage didn't worsen, gave us a fair quote, scheduled and started the work quickly, replaced the ceiling, called us when there were issues he needed decisions on and did a great job. He even made sure everything was tidy and clean after the decorators had finished. I would highly recommend and we've got plenty more future work lined up!

I’m really happy with the work, the plastering had a nice finish and the work was carried out efficiently. Lots of care was taken to protect the flooring and kitchen units, and any mess was cleaned meticulously when the job was finished. I would happily recommend

We needed our bedroom walls rendered and plastered and the ceiling boarded and plastered. Jim and Dave did a fantastic job. They are polite and friendly and cleaned up every day. Their work is of a high professional standard. We are very pleased with the final job and have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them.

Did an excellent job rendering some garden walls, very good finish. Turned up when he said, polite and pleasant throughout. What more would you want?

I hired Jimmy to complete some external rendering as well as installing a path. He was polite, reliable, punctual and honest. I needed the work done quickly and he managed to get the work done very promptly and efficiently. The work was completed to a very high standard and I was very impressed with the speed it was completed too. Jimmy gave a fair quote which he stuck to, even when extra work needed doing as a large hole was revealed during the preparation work. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and would definitely hire again!

I cannot thank Jimmy and Dave enough. They have been prompt, hard working, tidy as well as doing a properly sound job. Was quite sorry to see them go when they had finished!!!

Absolutely thrilled with new ceiling , as smooth as glass finish , it was all completed to a very high standard, Jimmy and Dave also cleaned up and left everything spotless .already talking to them about a bathroom job with no hesitation thank you both so much .

A great job completed by Jimmy and his pal. I needed a new ceiling in a large bedroom. All the work was completed in a day. Prepped and throughly vacuumed at the end of the day too. Very pleased. 👍

Turned up to see the job but never quoted and kept saying he was sending it but there was an issue with his e-mails… I’d rather a bit of honesty e.g. ‘the job isn’t worth my time’, or ‘it’s not straightorward and I can’t be bothered’ - better than excuses and wasting 3 weeks of my time.

A very professional service. A brilliant plastering job with a finish like glass! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jimmy. Thank you for an amazing job.

I have recently made two appointments to meet with these people to discuss costs for multiple projects around my home, and on both occasions they have failed to turn up. They give you no advanced warning that they may not be able to make the agreed time / date - they simply don't bother showing up. Totally unreliable and unprofessional - best to avoid people like this.

Absolutely thrilled with the reskim Jim did for me to a very battered old chimney breast. The finish is incredibly smooth and I can't wait to see how good it's going to look when it's painted! I really appreciated his quick and clear communication about the job, his friendly manner and his professionalism. I am already looking forward to booking him for another job. Thanks! Tom

Top quality work, would highly recommended! I’m glad I’ve found a plasterer that I can trust and who is brilliant at his trade! Polite and courteous, arrived on time and when he said he would...will definitely be calling J W Plastering for any future work.

Great job, neat and tidy. Thanks very much!

Excellent job done, very clean afterwards, would easily recommend James as a plasterer to any of my friends

Jim was fantastic, polite, professional and affordable. He kept us up to date with works progress and came up with solutions to several problems we discovered after work had begun. Jim and Tyler were tidy and left the whole place cleaner than it started! They went out of their way to ensure we had all the parts for the finishes I wanted and even recommended and picked up an extension cable for us! The outcome is a beautifully finished exterior that makes our house look new, but most importantly is leak free! Their creative outcomes mean a tidier more modern finish to the house whilst maintaining the overall character of the property. Highly recommended, currently looking for other external issues to fix so i can have them back!

I can’t thank you enough for the plastering work you have done for us. We are so pleased with the results and are especially grateful for how considerate, polite and tidy you have been. We 100% recommend and would use you again (and in fact are already lining up the next job for you!). Thanks again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Jimmy did an amazing job of plastering and tiling the floor of our new utility room. He has transformed it from a very ugly concrete shell to a gorgeous room that we can't wait to set up our new units in. It's not the first time that Jimmy has done work on our house and nor will it be the last. He is very considerate, tidy and hard working - we always feel so confident in everything that he does and very lucky to have found him. Thanks Jimmy!

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish, quick to respond and to visit for a quote. Professional service from Jimmy throughout, advised and explain the process to a layman which gave me confidence throughout. Lovely finish on all the ceilings and done quicker than expected. Can not recommend enough!

Did a great job rendering and plastering our kitchen. Very professional

Jimmy and Tyler did an amazing re-render job on our house. They were reliable, professional, skilled and very tidy. It’s clear that Jimmy takes a lot of pride in his work, he went the extra mile on lots of occasions, even coming back to make sure the place was left clean after the scaffolders had removed the scaffolding, and to patch up a couple of scratches they had left. The render has been finished to an extremely high standard and we were very impressed by their speed and skill completing the job. Thank you so much Jimmy and Tyler, we have had countless people commenting on how brilliant the house looks and we would 100% recommend you to anyone needing a reliable, friendly and talented plasterer. Thank you! 😄

Just had work completed by Jimmy and dave rending and painting to front of house. cleaned up after each visit. Good communication reliable would recommend.

Excellent service provided by Jim. The best professional finish on my plastered walls and the cleanest tradesmen I’ve ever had work completed by. He’s reliable, honest, reasonably priced and a job done with brilliant end results. Thank you J.W Plastering

'Just had J W Plastering to hack off, plaster and skim hallway, landing and stairs in our house in Donald St. We're absoloutely delighted with the standard of work and would have no hesitation in recommending this professional company to others. If you want a really good job done, with care and consideration Jimmy and David are your men! This is the second time JW Plastering have done major work for us and we wouldnt use any one else.

Got Jimmy and David to render the front of the house and to build in an artificial cavity into our single skin bay wall. They were fantastic, professional, skilled and very tidy. Wouldn’t think twice about recommending them for rendering, plastering and general building work.

Jimmy did a great job for us – boarding and plastering the ceilings in our hall and landing. The quality of the work was excellent and he was very careful not to damage any of the period features in the house. He was also highly professional, clearly taking great pride in his work, being careful not to make mess and cleaning up thoroughly when he had finished. I will definitely use JW Plastering again and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Excellent job done. Reliable, arrived on time. Stayed to finish job. Very clean and tidy. Very careful. A beautiful finish on the walls and ceiling.

Highly recommended! The plastering work completed in our nursery is so smooth and we are so pleased with it. Polite, friendly, professional and visited to check the scope of the work before quoting and was able to fit us in at short notice. The area was left clean and tidy after the work was completed. We will definitely be using Jimmy again for future work.

Jimmy has plastered several rooms in my house. Great service. Super smooth finish. Would highly recommend

Jimmy and Dave plastered our hallway, landing and a bedroom. We were really impressed with how respectful of the house they were, being careful to lay down dust sheets and keep mess to a minimum. The quality of the plastering was excellent - a super neat job. They are very polite and considerate guys - we would definitely recommend them to others.

Jimmy tackled our hall, landing and stairs which was a huge job. He took the ceilings down, put new up and plastered all of it, including some lovely finishing touches like archways, ceiling roses and coving. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, his work is great. We left him a key and he focused on our job until it was finished. He tidied up after he left every day which made a massive difference too.

A very good job done over two days. Jimmy was polite friendly and efficient in all aspects of work. Everything was left neat and tidy. Will definitely recommend him'
