We had a rat infestation in our loft. Steve came out very quickly, explained how he would clear the rats, explained why this would work. Very professional and always very punctual.

Had a rat in the loft for several weeks and couldn't catch it with my traps. Called Steve from Thames Valley Pest control and he came out within a few days. (Probably could have been sooner, but I was working) Steve was really friendly and sorted our rat problem with just one visit, he still came back for the following two visits to check everything was ok and make sure no other furry friends were up in the loft. Gave suggestions on how to prevent more coming in and he even visited the neighbours to see if the entry point was next door. TLDR. Fantastic, would highly recommend.

I highly recommend the business. Steve was very professional with a friendly, approachable manner. He explained everything fully and visited promptly after my call and worked around my availability to be home, for him to gain access. I no longer have a mouse in my loft. Steve also provided a solution for future proofing against more 'visitors'.

Excellent service from Steve - he was able to attend our house very quickly and it was immediately obvious he was an expert! We had a wasps nest under some decking in the garden and Steve did what he could be after a couple of days the wasps were back. This time I removed some of the decking and Steve kindly returned to do a further treatment now he could access way more of the site. What a super company. Martin came out first to resolve woodworm treatment in an attic space and just got on with the job - not easy in an old cottage. Then came back on a follow up to put rat prevention under the eves to stop access up the building. On time, fitted us in to work around other contractors. No fuss, job done, fair on the price . Plus there we have a very unpleasant tenant which made things even harder. Thanks. very much great job.

During a refurb of a downstairs bathroom the plumber just bunged some paper down the waste to block the smell. A couple of days later we heard scurrying around the ceiling and knew we had a problem. Steve came out and connected it to the bathroom work. Low and behold the paper had gone and the rats were in. He inserted a drain plug and then went about the house laying traps etc. 3 visits all in and the uninvited guests have gone. Haven't heard anything for a couple of weeks now. Also installed a flow trap in the outside sewer as an extra line of defence. Steve is a legend! Highly recommended.

Thames Valley Pest Control came out to give an assessment of pest control issues in our new home. It's a very old place with lots of potential issues. Steve arrived on time and gave us some thorough analysis of our potential issues and came back a further 2 visits to ensure the steps taken were working. Also offered additional advice for the type of property we have and some useful next steps we can take ourselves. Went above and beyond what I expected. Very friendly, informative and would highly recommend.

Highly recommended! I had the rodents issue in my loft for almost 1 and half years (since pandemic started). Initialy I used council's rodent control service. That didn't solve the issue as all the guy did was quick check and put baits in some places rats. The rats activity did seem to be reduced at the time of visit as I think the little creatures spooked and stopped for few weeks then I could hear them back again (making crawling and gnawing sound). So I decided to battle with the rats myself by tried many methods/tools, i.e. bait station, trap, glue board, tracker dust and I even made a roller slide bucket trap myself followed by youtube video. I did captured 4-5 rats from above tools during the year but the battle seems to be endless if you don't know where the leak is or root cause how the rats get in. I could not spot this myself so I started to search around to find rodents specialists and tried to ring several of them. They are expensive and not very responsive, some of them told me would ring me back but they never did (not sure why they are not interested to get more business , this is really beyond me). Eventualy I phoned Thames Valley Pest Control and Steve answered my call and booked me in immediately for the next following day. He was very friendly, polite and knowledgeable on the call. When he physically arrived, his profession , he checked thoroughly in my house (i.e. garage, loft, garden and decking etc), then eventually he thinks my house doesn't seem to have a big issue. Then he suggested to inspect my neighbor's house (the property is a semi-detached house) and luckily enough my neighbor was at home and they also suffered the same issue and willing to let Steve to check their house and get the service as well. After a thorough inspection of my neighbor's house, Steve found the root cause is from their side! Then immediately he provided the suggestion and solution to my neighbor. Finally my nightmare battling with the rats had ended! Steve came back two times after the initial treatment just to be sure the rats issue is no longer in mine and neighbor's property. I deliberately didn't make any reviews just want to give a month/two to make sure the rats are not back again as I had this experience before! But so far so good, I am really happy with the service provided by Steve and has no hesitation to recommend him and his company to anyone who has the same issue!

Highly recommend Thames Valley Pest Control! A blackbird had become stuck in my chimney breast. I called them very late in the day after the original company had failed to show and by this time, the bird was sounding extremely distressed (as was I). Steve very kindly agreed to help. Steve came out promptly to assess our ant infestation and used the services of an entomologist to ensure correct identification of the specific species. It turned out we had Brown Ants, which is quite a rare problem and potentially problematic to resolve. Steve took careful steps to ensure the most likely successful treatment and was very thorough in everything he did. Few technicians have experience with Brown Ants but we felt in good hands with Steve and hopefully the problem is solved for good. I would have no hesitation in recommending Thames Valley Pest Control.

My tenant called me regarding a wasp nest at the house. He has young children so worried about them getting stung. Emailed Steve and he responded same day arranging directly with the tenant to visit. There were actually two nests and he dealt with both. Good service and fair price.

No offence to Steve, but he wasn't necessarily the person that I most wanted to call on our return home from Christmas travels. An excellent job from Steve solving a problem with a squirrel in our loft. Very polite, helpful and proficient and always arrived exactly when he said he would - which is quite rare nowadays!
