Highly recommend Magnum Decorating. John had recently decorated the whole house. We are totally delighted with the finished work that was completed to an excellent standard. He was totally accommodating when we had to change dates. Left everything clean and tidy.

John gave us a quote and timescale, the work was undertaken as per the quote and within the timeframe. The work was of an excellent quality with John consulting us on colour schemes and finishes. We would recommend John to other families looking for a top quality decorator.

My husband asked Magnum Decorating to paint the front of his shop (The Salt Marsh Gallery in Lymington), above the shop sign. John did this at a time to suit my husband and kept in contact from enquiry to finish of the work. The finished work is excellent and looks crisp and fresh. John has recently finished decorating at our house and we must say what an amazing job he’s done. He painted our porch, lounge, kitchen/diner, utility room, staircase, landing, 2 bedrooms, all the skirting and door frames and we’re so pleased with the colour and finish. John also did some woodwork repairs on the stairs before painting and it looks so much better now. He’s a very nice guy and extremely professional. John did a great job, I would highly recommend him to anyone. The standard was very high, he was very efficient always left the house clean and tidy. Absolutely fabulous guy, he did 2 bedrooms put a curtain pole up which was a tricky one, found solutions and popped out to get bits and bobs needed for it! Very polite and friendly, and delivers what you would like decorated, would definitely recommend him 💯

John helped with a big job for us (on behalf of a mutual client) to redecorate and paint a large 4 bedroom house following the end of a long tenancy. John stood out from the competition in that he was friendly, punctual and accommodating and his quoted price was very fair. I Contacted John after a failed attempt at stripping a lot of wallpaper in my house. He was quick to respond and come to look, quoted me very quickly and we got booked in just as quick. John worked so hard on a nasty job and made it look easy, he went above and beyond and had the job completed in the time he originally said. Turned up on time (few minutes early actually), did a great job, tidied as he went and kept the mess to a minimum, treated our carpets and furniture with respect. Did a great job and very reasonably priced. Will definitely use him again. Nice bloke too. UPDATE: I was so pleased with the wallpapering that I got him back to lay some laminate flooring. The staff in Carpetright had tried to sell me the whistles and bells and John was very straight with me, told me what I need and what I really didn't and I decided to get him to do the job. Good job, clean and smart looking, very happy with it. And he charged about half of what Carpetright were charging. Decent, honest tradesman.
