APpartners Painting and Decorating

Artur was recommended by a local carpenter. He did a brilliant job stripping off wallpaper paper in two rooms and making them good before painting to a high quality finish, including woodwork. He also helped make good a wall behind a fireplace. We have now booked Artur for many other rooms and projects in the coming weeks. Would highly recommend!

Arthur has been great, excellent response time and clear pricing. His work is immaculate and his attention to detail impeccable. I didn't hesitate to ask him back for my bathroom project, and now we are slowly working through the house!

Such great decoration so pleased with outcome of our bedrooms. Arthur did a very professional job so clean brilliant job thank you so much Arthur I would recommend to anyone who requires a decorator.

Arthur been absolutely a life saver, completing this never ending project for us, the 3x bedrooms in our house, his work is actually impeccable, his very professional, he cares for what he does, now days you can’t find many trades men’s who are genuinely appreciate of what they do, except all they care about to over charge you, and you be luck if they get a decent job out of them. but Arthur definitely knows his stuff, his very meticulous about his work, and he did go that extra mile, to make sure we have a nice and quality finish, which makes a massive difference when it comes to internal painting, Unfortunately we had the most horror stories, that we in counter with few cowboy trade man’s sadly in the Wivenhoe area, have no doubt that there are plenty decent good trades men in the area, sadly was just our luck that we had to deal with the incompetence not a decent ones during this projects, between September to November 2025, the first trade men, who pretended to be a professional decorator, and his does everything there’s to it, and his been doing this for over 40 years, So we thought that’s great, which we established at later stage from other locals and residents, who knew him for a while, that his actually not a decorator. we established that he used external filler on the internal bedroom walls, and he didn’t use any dust sheets, when or he did any perp, even though I was asking him repeatedly, that when would you start sanding and preparing the walls for paint, he said they gone paint the celling first, then the walls, when they painted the bathroom ceiling, they ruined with bath and the bathroom floor with paint drips everywhere, he did not had any work attics, after few Signs of Red Flag, so we had to get rid of him, The second painter, who has his own website, said his got all the high tech tool, and use uses dustless sanding machine, and he pretty give us all the spiels that his a professional painter, and he blaming the previous trade men, who use the wrong filler ex. long story short, the first three days he called sick, then on fourth day, he start to sand part of a wall, then starting painting everything, he even painted the door hinges, and he ruined the PVC window frame by using a wood paint on PVC, which I specifically ask him, if he has a special spray paint for PVC, and he said yes I do don’t worry I’ll take care of it, unfortunately I paid him because he promised that he will come back to complete the jab, a week later while we get the flooring done, which he never did, he literally waisted all the paints, painted all the wall without any sanding, he left one of of the room half finished. and everything looked like horrible job done by a cowboy not real painters, when I ask him when is he planning to come back and complete the job, he simply said, that he can’t fix those walls, due the previous painter using wrong filler and his very busy, its unbelievable that this men think that his gone get away with, and probably his done this to many others, I will however name and shame him on the Facebook, the photos shown marks / indentation and wall papers bits still on the wall, are the photos of previous scam artist not a painter. Arthur whoever did a fantastic job, his a real painter, very professional and knows exactly how to fix wall indentations, he literally all the walls, painted all the rooms beautifully, that’s what you expect from a painter, but Arthur is definitely did his magic and fix all the wall and put those cowboys previous painters to shame, we have no hesitation to recommend Arthur, all photos showing sanded and white filling and Final walls looks smooth are Arthur’s job,

Artur was very professional & knowledgeable, & his team did a very good job. I was pleased with their thorough protection of the floors, and particularly pleased with the standard of their glosswork. I would have given 5 stars if we'd had an invoice before payment was requested, rather than after, as there was some misunderstanding over the method of payment, which caused some inconvenience.

Amazing from start to finish. Cannot complain about the finish, such a high standard. Hard working and honest. Thank you.

Artur and his team did a meticulous job for a very good price. They were friendly, punctual and reliable. We will definitely be using their services again!

Great job, thank

After an unsuccessful repaint of our front door by myself, Artur came to save the day and did a fantastic job! His communication throughout was great and he arrived prompt and on time and got on with the work straight away. He was super professional and I can’t fault him at all. We now have a beautiful black front door again - painted perfectly! Highly recommend and would definitely use Artur and his team again. Thank you so much for all your help!

So pleased we found Arthur, friendly, punctual, tidy, professional. Now quoting for the next job 👍

I contacted APpartners after my partner and I did a very bad DIY paint job in our new bathroom. We desperately wanted a professional to fix it as soon as possible. I received a response on the same day and the communication was professional and the quote reasonable. Somebody was able to come out to us within a couple of working days and we are really happy with the finished job. All of our dodgy cutting in has been fixed and we can finally finish our new bathroom! I would have no problem recommending this company.

Excellent work finished on time and to quote

My wife and I are delighted at the work Arthur did. This was to decorate our nursery with a mural. Arthur’s attention to detail is incredible, his work ethic is great and he left the room in immaculate condition. I really couldn’t recommend APpartners painting and decorating enough.

Artur was great from first contact all the way through. Clear, polite, transparent & timely. Made the whole thing super easy and stress free. Artur colour matched 2 paints for two rooms. His partner Hristo & a lovely lady who's name I don't recall came to paint. Lovely finish, beautifully neat and super efficient. We're very happy and now saving up to have APpartners back for the next round of decorating! Would happily recommend. Thank you Artur & team X

I asked for a kitchen repaint. The work was fantastic. Smooth and neat. They covered everything and made sure no paint was on the floor or on any furniture. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is look for a paint job.

The team did a really nice paint job for me - fair price, quick and really good to deal with. It’s hard to find good trades, and I’ll definitely be using these guys again.

Following a house move, I asked Artur and his team to repaint the whole house (including hallways). Firstly, Artur visited to check exactly what needed doing and explain the various options. The quote provided was very clear. In terms of the work itself, I couldn’t be happier. Everything has been finished to a high standard and Artur visited again once the work was complete to check if everything was done satisfactorily. The team were punctual, polite and worked very hard across 7 (working) days. Great care was taken in terms of preparation and making sure furniture was protected. When finished, the house was thoroughly tidied, with no mess left behind. My house now feels more like a home! Thank you!

We had a brilliant experience working with Arthur and his team. The communication was great, and Arthur was able to book our project in swiftly, completed it quickly, with amazing results. The painting job completely transformed our living space. We're so happy with the outcome and wouldn't hesitate to recommend APPartners to others.

Fantastic work

Highly professional and an outstanding painter. Painted two rooms for us. Strongly recommend. Will definitely use in the future.

Artur has been part of the team re-decorating our property on the coast in Suffolk. It was in poor condition because of longstanding water ingress problems (now finally resolved) and he has done a fantastic job of bringing things back to a top quality decorative finish, both inside and outside. This has been achieved through the hard work and care he put into preparation and then decoration and we are very happy with the results. The scaffolders have also been amazed by the transformation!

Amazing service! The quality of work is just amazing! We had our flat rooms painted and i was amazed how good it was

AP partners delivered a fantastic service on time and on budget. I highly recommend them and have already discussed other projects.

We had a great experience with Arthur at AP Partners Painting and Decorating. He came out at short notice to provide a free quote and managed to fit us into his busy schedule. His team painted two rooms to an excellent standard in just a couple of days. He supplied all the paint and materials, which saved us a lot of hassle. We wanted Farrow & Ball colours, and rather than us having to pay the premium prices, he was able to source exact colour matches at a fraction of the cost — and the results were spot on. Communication throughout was excellent, the work was reasonably priced, and we’re really happy with the outcome. We’ll definitely be using his services again and would highly recommend him to others.

Wonderful job repairing and painting the exterior walls of my house. Extremely clean and accurate work, excellent value for money and friendly service. Highly recommended.

The paint was matched extremely well to the colours we wanted and the quality of paint chosen was perfect for our needs. All work was completed quickly and efficiently, but to a very high quality. Would heartily recommend!

A fabulous contractor who is highly professional , considerate and courteous. Arthur also does not overcharge . He is highly respectful of your home and I would recommend him to anyone

I had Artur do a complete repaint of my 2 bedroom flat. From our initial meeting to the completion of the job Artur was very professional and produced a finished job that was way above my expectations. I have no hesitation in recommending Artur if you are looking for first class painter.

From initial contact from net search Artur was quick to respond and carry out site visit - quoted on spot and pencilled in possible dates. Soon agreed paint and source for our 25 metres of fencing ( 2 coats recommended by Artur) and one coat on mower shed - all by text. Arrived before 8.00 am and worked with short break until 4.00 pm on hottest day this year. Fence now looks like new again and shed shining - very professional and tidy job; cleaned up all round. Have no hesitation in asking Artur back in future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Happy with all Arthur's work. Painted 3x rooms and refurbished windows

Artur did a great job painting our garden fences. He was prompt in responding to our initial enquiry and provided guidance in the selection of paints. He was quick to come up with a workaround solution when the quantity delivered was incorrect. We're happy with the results.

I needed a painter to complete exterior painting of a victorian property which comprised of four flats, with associated sash windows that were in need of urgent repair. Artur gave a very competitive qoute meaning we were able to get the work completed. I hold very high standards when it comes to painting and decorating, however I cannot fault the work undertaken by Artir; a very high quality finish and completed within time spans and on budget. We live in times when it is very difficult to try and find trades people who are professional and trustworthy, Artur is all of this plus more. I cannot recommend him highly enough and will most certainly be using his service in the future. James W Ipswich.

Had an absolutely lovely experience having the facade of our flats refurbished by this business. Respectful of privacy, friendly, and hardworking despite it being a difficult job. Only criticism I have is that we weren't given any warning for when he was going to be there, but that's as much the landlord's fault as it was the staff. Overall a really great job, and the building looks lovely!

Fantastic job made of painting our exterior cladding, gate and garage. Great communication and took great care on delivering a neat job. Thankyou so much

I am very satisfied with the work of this master. Punctual, does the job on time, within the allotted time! The work is of high quality, cleaning is carried out every day after the end of the day, the material is selected and of high quality according to my requirements. Polite, communicative, reliable master. For me, it was important not only to perform the work well, but also to have communication with the master of his field. . I recommend Arthur to everyone, a professional! I still plan to ask for a favor because my parents' house needs repairs.

He completed the job to an incredibly high standard and was very professional throughout. So much so, that we will be asking to come back to paint the interior of our house when it needs doing next.

Artur and partner were simply amazing! They painted my living room/dining and kitchen which were in a very bad state (hadn't been touched in over 20 years!). Artur went above and beyond to make the rooms spectacular, they look brand new. He was very responsive, accommodating, very fast (finished both rooms in 1 1/2 days). He was also very tidy and trustworthy. I highly recommend his services and I will be inviting him back to finish painting and decorating the rest of house interior and exterior.

Artur painted few rooms in our house. Everything was done beautifully, to a high standard and as per his original quote. Highly recommended!

The work was done by true professionals. Everything was done efficiently and quickly. I am very pleased with the result. There is another room, I will definitely call these guys.

We have used Arthur before on our bedroom which has a vaulted ceiling making it problematic and he did a great job, therefore we decided to ask him to paint our hallway, stair, landing, dining room, study and lounge. This included stripping off the previous wallpaper from the bulk of the rooms and hallway making good the walls and then painting the walls and ceilings followed by glossing the skirting and doorframes. Arthur did an excellent job always arriving on time (more often slightly early) and providing exactly what we had envisaged to a very high standard. He is also very tidy. He also clearly knows his paints and found us a range of colours that matched what we had been looking for. We would definitely use Arthur again.
