Really pleased with the work carried out on our old Victorian window sills. They were in need of quite a bit of attention, with cracks and uneven surfaces, but everything was filled, repaired and smoothed out properly before being painted. The finished result looks fantastic and has really brought the windows back to life. They were also very tidy throughout and cleaned everything up afterwards, which we really appreciated. Great quality work, professional and clearly took pride in getting the finish right. Would definitely recommend!

Artur was recommended by a local carpenter. He did a brilliant job stripping off wallpaper paper in two rooms and making them good before painting to a high quality finish, including woodwork. Arthur been absolutely a life saver, completing this never ending project for us, the 3x bedrooms in our house, his work is actually impeccable, his very professional, he cares for what he does, now days you can’t find many trades men’s who are genuinely appreciate of what they do, except all they care about to over charge you, and you be luck if they get a decent job out of them. but Arthur definitely knows his stuff, his very meticulous about his work, and he did go that extra mile, to make sure we have a nice and quality finish, which makes a massive difference when it comes to internal painting, Unfortunately we had the most horror stories, that we in counter with few cowboy trade man’s sadly in the Wivenhoe area, have no doubt that there are plenty decent good trades men in the area, sadly was just our luck that we had to deal with the incompetence not a decent ones during this projects, between September to November 2025, the first trade men, who pretended to be a professional decorator, and his does everything there’s to it, and his been doing this for over 40 years, So we thought that’s great, which we established at later stage from other locals and residents, who knew him for a while, that his actually not a decorator. we established that he used external filler on the internal bedroom walls, and he didn’t use any dust sheets, when or he did any perp, even though I was asking him repeatedly, that when would you start sanding and preparing the walls for paint, he said they gone paint the celling first, then the walls, when they painted the bathroom ceiling, they ruined with bath and the bathroom floor with paint drips everywhere, he did not had any work attics, after few Signs of Red Flag, so we had to get rid of him, The second painter, who has his own website, said his got all the high tech tool, and use uses dustless sanding machine, and he pretty give us all the spiels that his a professional painter, and he blaming the previous trade men, who use the wrong filler ex. long story short, the first three days he called sick, then on fourth day, he start to sand part of a wall, then starting painting everything, he even painted the door hinges, and he ruined the PVC window frame by using a wood paint on PVC, which I specifically ask him, if he has a special spray paint for PVC, and he said yes I do don’t worry I’ll take care of it, unfortunately I paid him because he promised that he will come back to complete the jab, a week later while we get the flooring done, which he never did, he literally waisted all the paints, painted all the wall without any sanding, he left one of of the room half finished. and everything looked like horrible job done by a cowboy not real painters, when I ask him when is he planning to come back and complete the job, he simply said, that he can’t fix those walls, due the previous painter using wrong filler and his very busy, its unbelievable that this men think that his gone get away with, and probably his done this to many others, I will however name and shame him on the Facebook, the photos shown marks / indentation and wall papers bits still on the wall, are the photos of previous scam artist not a painter. Arthur whoever did a fantastic job, his a real painter, very professional and knows exactly how to fix wall indentations, he literally all the walls, painted all the rooms beautifully, that’s what you expect from a painter, but Arthur is definitely did his magic and fix all the wall and put those cowboys previous painters to shame, we have no hesitation to recommend Arthur, all photos showing sanded and white filling and Final walls looks smooth are Arthur’s job,
Artur was very professional & knowledgeable, & his team did a very good job. I was pleased with their thorough protection of the floors, and particularly pleased with the standard of their glosswork. I would have given 5 stars if we'd had an invoice before payment was requested, rather than after, as there was some misunderstanding over the method of payment, which caused some inconvenience.

I contacted APpartners after my partner and I did a very bad DIY paint job in our new bathroom. We desperately wanted a professional to fix it as soon as possible. I received a response on the same day and the communication was professional and the quote reasonable. Somebody was able to come out to us within a couple of working days and we are really happy with the finished job. All of our dodgy cutting in has been fixed and we can finally finish our new bathroom! I would have no problem recommending this company.

Following a house move, I asked Artur and his team to repaint the whole house (including hallways). Firstly, Artur visited to check exactly what needed doing and explain the various options. The quote provided was very clear. In terms of the work itself, I couldn’t be happier. Everything has been finished to a high standard and Artur visited again once the work was complete to check if everything was done satisfactorily. Artur has been part of the team re-decorating our property on the coast in Suffolk. It was in poor condition because of longstanding water ingress problems (now finally resolved) and he has done a fantastic job of bringing things back to a top quality decorative finish, both inside and outside. This has been achieved through the hard work and care he put into preparation and then decoration and we are very happy with the results. The scaffolders have also been amazed by the transformation!

I had Artur do a complete repaint of my 2 bedroom flat. From our initial meeting to the completion of the job Artur was very professional and produced a finished job that was way above my expectations. I have no hesitation in recommending Artur if you are looking for first class painter.
From initial contact from net search Artur was quick to respond and carry out site visit - quoted on spot and pencilled in possible dates. Soon agreed paint and source for our 25 metres of fencing ( 2 coats recommended by Artur) and one coat on mower shed - all by text. Arrived before 8.00 am and worked with short break until 4.00 pm on hottest day this year. Fence now looks like new again and shed shining - very professional and tidy job; cleaned up all round. Have no hesitation in asking Artur back in future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I needed a painter to complete exterior painting of a victorian property which comprised of four flats, with associated sash windows that were in need of urgent repair. Artur gave a very competitive qoute meaning we were able to get the work completed. I hold very high standards when it comes to painting and decorating, however I cannot fault the work undertaken by Artir; a very high quality finish and completed within time spans and on budget. We live in times when it is very difficult to try and find trades people who are professional and trustworthy, Artur is all of this plus more. Had an absolutely lovely experience having the facade of our flats refurbished by this business. Respectful of privacy, friendly, and hardworking despite it being a difficult job. Only criticism I have is that we weren't given any warning for when he was going to be there, but that's as much the landlord's fault as it was the staff. Overall a really great job, and the building looks lovely!

Artur and partner were simply amazing! They painted my living room/dining and kitchen which were in a very bad state (hadn't been touched in over 20 years!). Artur went above and beyond to make the rooms spectacular, they look brand new. He was very responsive, accommodating, very fast (finished both rooms in 1 1/2 days). We went on holiday and returned to a pristine new home. hall, landing, stairs, living room, & dining room. Plus ceilings throughout and 9 doors all doors and wood work in eggshell. So what do i think stunning neat cannot see any of the damage that was patched up. it was excellent workmanship. We have used Arthur before on our bedroom which has a vaulted ceiling making it problematic and he did a great job, therefore we decided to ask him to paint our hallway, stair, landing, dining room, study and lounge. This included stripping off the previous wallpaper from the bulk of the rooms and hallway making good the walls and then painting the walls and ceilings followed by glossing the skirting and doorframes. Arthur did an excellent job always arriving on time (more often slightly early) and providing exactly what we had envisaged to a very high standard. He is also very tidy. He also clearly knows his paints and found us a range of colours that matched what we had been looking for. We would definitely use Arthur again.
