Peter Weare 1984 Ltd

Took a snapped Van key and they managed to produce a new key. Great service and value for money

Fantastic people. Talked me through what I needed after I wandered in with a lock mechanism. Took the last bit from the van for me and pre-empted my next potential problem of not having a split spindle (which I didn’t have). Thanks both.

Great to deal with a so very helpful

Very helpful lots of stock.

Will never use again, called them due to a front door fault, a man arrived on 17th May 2024, and looked at the problem gave us a quote and said 2 weeks to get the part.3 weeks later I phoned for an update, was spoken to by a very offish lady who said she had had no record of the booking and quote. She then spoke to someone else and came back saying the man had resigned and she would call next day to rearrange a visit, that was the last I heard.

Best place in Crawley for key cutting

Very longstanding company, I doubt you could find a lock they haven't got experience with. Only take cash but it definitely saved me money having experts who had the right lock components rather than having to buy a whole set at a big store. Very helpful cut a fitting to size at my request. Would recommend.

Lovely & helpful

Absolutely brilliant service. We had our locks changed because we moved into a new house and he was at my house 15 minutes after I called and had the locks done on no time. I would highly recommend this company

Great people to do business with.

Quick service, and very reasonable prices. Recommended for any keys!

Came out immediately to get me back into house as had left keys in back of door. Much appreciated.

I had bought my own upgrade for an old Ford key and needed the new key cut. The gentleman whom served me was a delight to talk with, very informative and knowledgeable. No hassle involved and super fast service. Very much recommend for all key and lock solutions!

Very expensive lock,i was there to buy one lock for my upvc door,he want 60£ for something what you can find anywhere else for max 30£.if you want any lock system for your door go to Horley near Lidl ,is more cheaper and you can pay by card.

Service very good, nice helpful person served me. A bit surprised that they only took cash, parking can be a bit of a job?

Friendy, professional people. Can't fault the service. Recommended.

Bought safe recommended and they installed,

Nice independent locksmith at reasonable price. Cash only

Straight fwd and no nonsense. Thanks

Was able to point me in the right direction! Really greatful for Peters advice

Great knowledge

Fantastic really helpful

Incredible service, highly competent and very friendly too. Had called a different locksmith originally who weren't available until next week. Peter asked great questions when calling and came over immediately - he arrived in less than 5 minutes, and managed to fix our door which wasn't locking. Reasonable and fair price, and offered options on how to pay. Highly highly recommend.

Excellent service, arrived within an hour. I first contacted someone else who had flashy van etc, they didn't even bother to respond. This seems like an old school type of company with very honest staff and pricing. Highly recommended

brilliant, very professional, real experts , very polite , recommend to anyone 10 out of 10

Nice and friendly service

Very great, professional, affordable service and honest in their dealings. Very neat job, their representative locksmith, Gary cleaned up his work area after his job. He's such a kind man. I will recommend Peter Weare Locksmith services any day, any time 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾.

Thanks for the past and may you have lots of love 💓😙😙😙💓💓💓😙

Absolutely brilliant. Went in with two blank keys for a 50 year old Karmann Ghia and a 50year old worn key. Both new keys work fine first time. Going in this shop was like stepping back in time a few years. Most refreshing going somewhere where people are skilled in their job as they have been doing it for years.

Went to these guys after Timpson failed to make working copies of my front door key. Peter Weare's managed it first time, quick and cheap, thanks!

Knowledgeable and friendly staff , would recommend in a heartbeat

As ever, helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient. Only place I ever go for my key cutting and lock needs. Just remember - cash only!!

The usual excellent service.

Great service, kept us updated from start to finish. Couldn't have had a better locksmith

Our front door would not unlock, called Peter Weare and couldn't have had a better service. Kept us undated with phone calls throughout, gave a quote on his first visit and stuck to it. No nasty extras at the end of the job.

Great service

Excellent service. Found and cut keys from just 3 numbers! Marvellous. The only snag is they don't take cards of any sort. They may have to in the near future.

Good traditional local business

Fantastic place and great service

Quoted £100+ plus deep intake of breath from shop in Lewes for cutting a missing antique bookcase key for existing lock. Peter Weare not only made a new copy without any fuss plus two spares and 3 x copies of two other keys - total 9 keys for £50. With friendly professional service. Why go anywhere else?

Super helpful

My uncle Pete Weare was the original owner of this business, his widow my aunt sold it when he died nearly forty years ago. I’ve no doubt the new owners carry on in his tradition.

Recommend, friendly, good advice, good ££

They know how to cut keys that work.... Stay away from Timpsons and go to this place instead..

Called and was at my house within 10 minutes. Sorted out problem without any stress.

Couldn't find the lock for my front door anywhere. Peter Weare had a huge range and actually had the Lock I wanted which was a rare One. Would Recommend Definitely.

Really helpful guys. Highly recommended

Cant possibly fault the knowledge and service of staff..highly recommended

Obscure patio door handles, pattern keys for old cars. Always helpful. Just remember to bring cash :)

Brilliant. Took them 20 mins to come out to me and 10 seconds to get into my house when I was locked out of my house ;-) thanks

Friendly family run locksmith, only take cash payments

Good old fashion locksmiths.

Price not too bad. Look like the place that will have every type of key & lock you could ever want.

Keys are cut any type and they work first time very good service as well
