We are Locksmiths

Great service at replacing locks on 2 front doors. Friendly, efficient, good price. Can't ask for more!

£5.95 for a cylinder key cutting, and range of options for shape, brand, etc.

Our key broke in our porch door at 11 o’clock at night, and having seen the recent news about locksmiths we were quite concerned. However, Jay was with us super quickly, and charged us exactly what he said on the phone which was a big relief! He even highlighted the reason the key had broken and changed the lock for us to stop it happening again. Can’t recommend him enough.

They provide great guest service. Thank you Avery!

Thank u Michael, your service was great

Always really helpful and fas

If you are needing a locksmith in the Southampton/Winchester please use Phil. This is a genuine company who helped me out in an emergency. I had initially called a company who I had found who were fraudsters and did not have a clue. Highly recommend using Phil.

Had a problem with locking my door. Phil attended very quickly and came up with an immediate temporary solution and two longer term permanent solutions. Really impressed with his skill and knowledge. Thank you.

Really great service; had a problem with a lock to an outside storage area; non urgent; phoned on Monday, they came next day, all sorted. Reasonable price. Very happy. Recommended

EXCELLENT service….Cant thank Jay enough for his help. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. I have no hesitation recommending company.

We were locked out and sat on the doorstep. They arrived within 20 minutes and got us in within minutes. Great guy, smiley and communicative. Managed to sort without drilling or further work and just charged us that call out fee which was very reasonable.

Locked myself out immediately on moving in to my new flat. Very fast, friendly and efficient service and reasonably priced for an out of hours call out - thanks so much Phillip. Would 100% use these guys again, but really hoping I don't need to!

Having locked myself out, I called up just after 7am. Phil (I think?!) was really helpful & was with me in a quarter of an hour, getting into the property in less than 30 seconds - just using a card to flick up the lock. However, I have to say, still being charged the full £140 fee (quoted over the phone when expecting to have to drill off the lock & replace it ) by a company who promotes reasonable pricing felt unfair & incredibly steep. I was so grateful for the help & I totally understand & expected a high out of hours call out rate but I felt really upset that there wasn’t the slightest reduction in price when the job became that quick & easy.

Excellent service. Helpful. Efficient. Reliable. Knowledgeable. Jay came to fix an issue. I am very happy with the outcome and feel safe again. Thank you, Jay!

Went in for a key cutting on an old car key. Very quick service, very friendly and helpful.

Brilliant service, knowledgeable staff and very welcoming. Recommend very highly.

Our key got stuck in the door due to something being broken inside the door. Phil came out really quickly to us and was absolutely lovely! great customer service and fixed our lock efficiently and effectively. Would deffo recommend!!

Sorted my front door lock super quick, arrived earlier than expected, and went the extra mile to level out the front door because the wood was jamming. Phil was awesome and super friendly. Great price. Really helpful they could take cash too! 100/100

Amazing company, snapped my key in half which was a issue as it is a security key but Phil from we are locksmiths was absolutely amazing over the phone and in person very professional and very quick response and didn't mess around at getting a new key cut, thank you so much Phil for you late night help will use 100% again when I next have an issue 😀 100% recommend this company to anyone who is in a pickle with locks / keys

Great company, Phil helped me out with a broken lock. Definitely recommend using this company, very friendly even when had to be called out on a bank holiday.

Excellent service provided in an emergency situation. Thank you Jay and colleagues.

Thank you to Jay and We are Locksmiths for sorting the work he completed at my property! We are Locksmiths are consummate professionals in their field and provide unrivalled customer service for an amazing price. Jay has a very professional friendly approach and explains the work he is carrying out concisely and completes it cleanly and efficiently. There are so many vendors in the trades fields to choose from and it can be daunting to say the least to find the right one, but I’m glad I have found We are Locksmiths just as an off chance visit to the shop in Bedford Place as I was in the area. I will definitely be using them for all works I require in the future and we have already discussed the next bit of work which will be a safe installation that I will be requiring soon. Highly recommended and most importantly a trusted provider! Many thanks again guys! :-)

Great service from Jay and the team. Prompt, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Would highly recommend we are locksmiths and will definitely use again. Phil was extremely helpful, efficient and changed our front door lock within hours of discovering we’d lost a key Many thanks!

Totally professional and friendly.

Couldn’t recommend more. Philip was really helpful and his advice was essential in helping me fix a faulty door lock after having been let down by the original installer. A real life saver.

Excellent service! I phoned them late afternoon as we couldn't lock our front door. Was told what the cost would be and approximate cost of part up front. Within 2 hours the problem was fixed by a very friendly and knowledgeable Locksmith. He even adjusted the door hinge to lift the door that had dropped.

Got my keys cut here, and worked perfectly. A really polite man, too. Thoroughly recommend.

Thank you to Jay who was fast, experienced, knowledageble and fixed a fitting issue with the lock and door frame.

J was brilliant, sorted put my warped wooden front door that was having difficulties locking properly. He fitted the yale I'd bought early in the week and couldn't get right, then also sorted out the chubb deadlock that had not been working at all for a while ! Superb job. Very professional. Thank you all.

After an unfortunate incident of locking my garage key inside my car, which was inside the locked garage 🙈🙄 Andy phoned me back on a Sunday and got me booked in for the next day. (Quoted £65 call out fee rather than £95 for the Sunday) both quotes were much cheaper than other local locksmiths had already quoted me, and they were whacking VAT on top of that. The man who came out to do the job was friendly, helpful and professional, also took every precaution not to damage the garage door in any way. Had to put a new lock on, but this only cost an extra £25. So £90 total cost. I was quoted £234 elsewhere. Very grateful for the very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend and use again in the future.

I stupidly got myself locked out of my flat last night as i left my keys inside🫨. Jay came around at midnight to one am and done the job fast and efficiently. He was done within ten minutes of parking his van. Amazing service, lovely and friendly. Thankyou again Jay!

Absolutely brilliant service 👏.... What a locksmith jay is was qouted 600 quid after a failed attempt to unlock my front door by a shambles of a locksmith drilled a massive hole in my door still couldn't get in.....jay turned up was friendly well manned opened the door in less the 10 minutes replaced the lock Absolutely first class service couldn't recommend these guys enough 👍

Had Jay attend to replace a lock, he adjusted the door, replaced the lock and even fixed an issue with our front door and took measurements for new handles to order in at no extra cost. As Jay said so modestly said “he’s good at his job” which I cannot disagree with! Definitely recommend to anyone, friendly, helpful and honest which is a rare commodity into todays world! Thank you

Jay the fitter was with me within the hour & fixed the problem. So they came when they said they would, did what they said they could & charged what they said it would cost Top service

Thank you so much for the quickest and amazing service!

Jay was brilliant. Out in 15 mutes, job done in 5. Decent price and good bloke. Thanks for coming out on your friday night! Lifesaver.

Couldn’t recommend more! Locked myself out of the house, Jay arrived quickly and got the door open in no time. He was really friendly and knowledgeable, and gave some tips for the future as well. Well priced too with no hidden fees.

Very good, friendly service very fairly priced

Highly Recommended. He let me in Less than a hour. While the previous one can't even open the door for 4 hrs and I have to sleep in the car on a very cold saturday night. Hands off to Mr. Phil. 💪🙌👏👏👏

Highly recommend We Are Locksmiths. Prompt service, fair price for out of hours call out and great updates on the job as I was not on site.

Where do I start? Came out at the time stated and went above and beyond to ensure the lock in my shared accommodation was fixed to a high standard. Kind, friendly and for an extremely reasonable price! I wouldn't hesitate to call in the future. Cheers guys.

Known and used these guys from the day they opened. Good service, Fair price and so very helpful. Cannot praise them enough

Can’t recommend this business enough. Answered my emails quickly and resolved the issue (replacement lock and keys) the same day in a friendly and helpful manner! Reasonably priced too. Thank you :)

These guys are wicked, very knowledgeable, very friendly, and very helpful. Have used these guys for both work purposes (property maintenance) & for personal purposes. I would defo recommend them.

Fantastic experience start to finish. Explained what he believed to be the issues with my lock and then showed me the evidence of the breakage. Gave me multiple options to fix it and was incredibly respectful of social distancing. 100% would recommend.

I rang up this morning as I couldn't open my back door and couldn't figure out what wasn't working. I got a diagnosis over the phone and the problem was solved within 20 minutes of Danny arriving this afternoon (at a time that suited me). Thank you very much!

Brilliant service... replaced the broken gearbox on our multi-point porch door lock and it is working better than ever before. Recommended!

Efficient and faster . They're very professional .

Really friendly and fast service

Excellent service, fast and reliable. Definitely recommend!

Thank goodness for this company! Excellent service and price. Delighted with there availability. Would recommend this Locksmith over and over again, for private and commercial work. I have used this company for private work and for my Business Centre in Southampton.

I have just had the pleasure of popping into the store on London Road as I had a key snapped off in a padlock. The gentleman very kindly removed it within minutes. I have used them a few other occasions but always forget to leave a review. Thank you for your great service. Kind regards Ashley James Managing Director

Five star review from me and fully deserved. These guys are legends and got me out of a tight spot last night when I lost my keys. They managed to quickly and cleanly open my front door without damaging the lock.

Very responsive (Jay) to a faulty front door lock. Good communication prior to home visit and a great result once Jay was on site. A clean and tidy worker as well. I have used this company before and will certainly do so again the next time I have a need for a locksmith.

Great service

Had my locks changed by Danny. The service was fast, friendly, punctual and all done within the agreed price. Couldn't be happier.

Very good service, friendly and helpful, as well as great prices!

Please dont hesitate to use these guys, went to them with all manner of problems and the service i received was second to none, jay in particular could not have been more helpful when sorting out an existing 30 plus year old door lock without a key, cheers mate 😊😊

Excellent services, if your after a reliable value for money Locksmith. I cannot shout out just how great "We Are Locksmith" are. Have used them a few times now for various works from general lock changes to Landlord access requirements from Lettings management right through to Property Management. Don't recommend searching anywhere else when you have found "We Are Locksmith". Very prompt with communication, excellent work services and always on time to deliver.

Not impressed, booked appointment for quote 3 days ago and still not appeared!

Well informed, friendly, helpful service. They had in their box of random locks an out of production Legge lock I needed that the big DIY chains no longer stock.

I had previously been to two locksmiths who couldn't help me with what I exactly wanted.(A replacement barrel for my Legge front door lock). Just being upsold all the time. I was advised by a friend to visit 'We are locksmiths' and from the moment I walked into the shop, I was greeted and listened to and given exactly what I required and additional assistance offered. Excellent service and can't recommend enough, keep up the great work, I'll be coming back when necessary.

Very helpful and friendly. Shop well stocked and easy to find.

Impeccable service - All know exactly what they're doing and very approachable. Can't reccomend these lads enough.

You get the feeling the guys at We Are Locksmiths literally live for keys and locks. We're lucky they use their powers for good! They're fast, expert, reasonably priced, and friendly. Have used them for three different problems in our decrepit old house and they come up trumps every time.

Came out yesterday on short notice after another locksmith company simply failed to turn up and I needed two deadlocks fitted before monday. Very understanding of my situation and came out in no time. Job was done to an excellent standard and in a very timely manner. All round a very friendly and proffesional experience. And the price was very good and actually cheaper than the other locksmith that failed to turn up. Thank you so much again.

Locked myself out of my house at 11pm in Winchester and their locksmiths were with me in 20 minutes. Amazing response time and they had me back in the house within 5 minutes. They fitted a new high security replacement lock and even cut me extra keys for my kids. Excellent service and would not hesitate to use them again.

My spare key was cut whilst I waited and for a very reasonable price.

Phil was prompt, knowledgeable and excellent value for money. We Are Locksmiths are great! Thank you :D

Needed to get a replacement key for a Sentry Safe - tried other locksmiths but they couldn't supply. These guys came up trumps and took the time to see if key could be obtained and then cut. Great service and would thoroughly recommend them.

Fantastic service, sorted out lock in no time and I received receipt to give to landlord. Incredibly friendly, would recommend.

Excellent customer service, absolute top notch. Friendly staff, with quick turn around and extremely knowledgeable. Went to a competitor prior to going to "We are Locksmiths" who messed up making the same keys, TWICE. These guys got it right on the first go and couldn't praise them enough. They were also about 40% cheaper. If you want the job done properly, go here.

Phil gave great customer service and went out of his way to help us above and beyond. Highly recommend his service.

Saved a damsel in distress! Phil was truly professional, helpful and a really nice guy.

Very good service, fun, friendly and professional staff.

This guy Phil was brilliant - he only took 20 minutes to get to us and he made sure on the invoice he made sure he wrote that it was no fault of ours as there was a fault with the lock. Really friendly and explained everything to us so we understood what he was doing and why. Highly recommended !!! :)

Quick service, friendly guy behind the counter

Can't praise Phil enough for my experience with his work. I had a broken key (half inside the lock) in my motorbike back box, with my laptop inside! I drove to his shop where he spent the best part of 45 mins retrieving the broken section. (I had made it worse by pushing it inadvertently further inside) wasn't easy because it has an anti-tamper set up. anyway he managed to do this and cut me a new key. I felt like I had robbed him when he had finished ! he charged so little! I will recommend and use this guy again. Stuart (Bitterne Park)

Prompt, professional and friendly! The best! :)

We called Phil to come and take a look at a broken door lock, he was very friendly, came out promptly and fixed the proble very quickly. Highly recommended.

Excellent workmanship. Very prompt, reliable and friendly. Phil is a true and honest tradesman. Highly recommended.

We highly recommend Philip who has helped us out and our neighbour as well. Polite and quick and very professional, and very personable. If we had met him down at the pub we would have bought him a beer!

great service from phil and his handy man benson. phil also models part time so keep an eye out for him. hes a rising star

Brilliant service, went above and beyond. I had just received the keys to my new property, and was anxious to replace the locks, WAL where able to get everything sorted for me the same day. The staff where excellent and very helpful too.
