Amazing locksmith! He was able to identify and instantly find a replacement for the very old lock in our door dating back to the Victorian era. Highly recommend if you want a knowledge locksmith.

The only place I get keys cut. In all the years our company have used them I’ve never had a problem with keys that are cut here and the products that we’ve bought from them are good quality rather than the cheap rubbish sold elsewhere. The team in the shop are great to deal with and know their stuff.

I went in yesterday with a recently discovered box belonging to my late mum, the key to which had long since been discarded. I left it in the capable hands of Roger, who phoned the next day to say he had opened it. An absolutely exemplary service and a more than reasonable price too.

Staying in my son’s house whilst he is abroad. Front door lock tricky but got in ok only to find I couldn’t get out 😱Panicked as I needed to collect grandchildren from school. Lock & Safe sent help straight away. The locksmith was amazing and didn’t make me feel an idiot! Incredibly impressed with this company and recommend unreservedly.

Tom and Darren did a brilliant job installing a Winkhaus electric lock on my uPVC front door. Not a conventional install but handled brilliantly, with excellent customer service. Several companies turned down the job but Mark and his team clearly know what they are doing, so I’m very grateful. I’ll be back if need more work doing and will be recommending to friends. I am writing this review on behalf of my father, who experienced considerable difficulty in getting a key cut at a well-known chain of locksmiths. After spending a significant amount of money on a key that ultimately did not work, someone recommended Guildford Lock and Safe. My father visited their location and was able to have the key cut while he waited. The staff at Guildford Lock and Safe were exceptionally friendly and completed the task efficiently, all at a much more competitive price than the previous locksmith. I highly recommend this company not only for their excellent workmanship but also for their outstanding customer service. They truly go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.

Mark took an impression of the lock on a vintage trunk I'd accidentally locked without a key and cut me a new one from scratch, because he's a wizard. I'm so pleased. Really fair price for actual magic, really quick turnaround, and really friendly and helpful service (even helped me get it in and out of my car). I have a weakness for vintage cases and trunks so will probably be back....

I run a handyman business, and Guildford Lock & Safe are always, always, my first port of call. They've almost always got a perfect replacement for whatever random old defunct lock I bring in, and they're great at mending things when they can. Roger is incredibly patient, and generous with his time and advice. Also, from a homeowner perspective: I had two successive sets of front door keys cut by Timpsons (Roger, forgive me) and both sets failed within a few months. One of them snapped off in the lock. After that, I had my keys cut at Guildford Lock & Safe, and the difference in quality is tangible. The first set from them is still going strong, and cost less than Timpsons! We're very lucky to have a local business like this with such experienced and capable staff. Keep up the good work!
