Helmkay Locksmiths is frequently described as prompt, with Martin often named and thanked by customers. Reviewers report that he arrives when agreed and explains what was needed. Martin is described as polite and helpful, and as fitting customers in at short notice, including after 6pm. Reviewers say he cut and programmed new car keys and dealt with ignition locks, a jammed patio door lock and an EV charger turned on after keys were misplaced. One reviewer said an appointment was made but he could not attend and sent another locksmith.
Great experience. He arrived promptly, quickly diagnosed the issue and had it fixed in no time. He also took the time to explain what had gone wrong and gave helpful advice on adjustments I can make to prevent the issue happening again. Pricing seemed very fair to me too. Would definitely recommend and would use again without hesitation.
Great service today from Helmkay, Martin is a lovely bloke and he fitted a new ignition switch on my Mondeo Quickly and efficiently! The price was amazing value too. If you need a locksmith I definitely recommend giving Helmkay a call.
Excellent service from Martin. Responsive, honest, and efficiently resolved our issue with turning on our EV charger after we misplaced the keys. Even went above and beyond and drilled back into the wall as it had previously come loose. Thanks Martin!
Had some patio doors and the key got jammed in the lock in a permanently unlocked position. The locksmith came out quickly and fixed the lock in no time so it now works perfectly and far more slickly than it has done for years. He was in and out the front door several times for tools and noticed that door was also a little stiff and liable to develop problems in the future. So he went over and above and did a quick bit of maintenance on it so that door works better as well. Good price and very satisfied, thank you.
Martin has just done an excellent job on my Fiesta ignition lock, one of many jobs he's, done for me over the years, always polite, positive an professional, also his prices are very good, thanks again Martin
Brilliant service from Martin, bang on time, keycard programmed and spare key cut. Highly recommended.
Turned up as agreed at short notice. Golf ignition lock was playing up but Martin sorted it with no fuss. Great value compared to quotes from other establishments.
Lovely chap, sorted my issue with no dramas and even looked at another issue while he was here. Really lovely, reasonable price and good customer service. Highly recommended! Thanks Martin :)
We have used him twice now, both times he arrived when he said he would, new keys cut, for a fair price.
