Bernard Toon & Son

Brilliant service again from this company. We have used them a few times and I think they have only charged us once even though they have had to come out (at very short notice) and fixed our door that would not lock. They are always helpful and nice to deal with and came to fix our door today (7th August) within a couple of hours of phoning. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Fab,reasonably priced,Id recommed them .

Thank you to Richard who came round, sorted the lock on our summerhouse and was so professional and reassuring. The price charged was incredibly fair and I would certainly recommend Bernard Toon & Son.

Highly recommended Speedy response, knowledgeable, quality workmanship at a fair price. Lock has never worked so well.

I wanted to find an Independent locksmith rather than using one through a platform who charge exorbitant prices. Richard promptly replied, Arrived on time as agreed and did an amazing job of opening an internal Chubb lock ( key had gone missing) and replacing the lock. You wouldn’t even know it had happened as there is not a mark on the door . Exceptional independent family business, excellent value for money. Highly recommend

I saw the reviews when I lost our patio door key and needed help. Richard responded to my message within a few hours and a new barrel and replacement keys fitted same day. Good price and very efficient service. Highly recommend for this local company.

I have used Toon Locksmiths twice in the last year. Fantastic service , quality and price. Very helpful , with a fix it attitude rather than instant replacement. I recommend them to my dad , who had misaligned patio doors . He said he couldn’t believe the difference. And wondered why he had been struggling for so long to the point where he couldn’t lock them.

A pleasure to have Richard to realign our doors yesterday. A most professional service at a very reasonable price. Would whole heartedly recommend.

Rich arranged to come out and change a barrel lock and replace a locking system. Super quick service, price was unbeatable! Would definitely recommend and will use again!

Have used this friendly locksmith twice now for separate issues. Came out each time promptly and sorted the issue with minimum fuss. Very friendly service and at a very reasonable price! Highly recommended!

Absolutely awesome. I have been using them before and on all occasions Richard has been fantastic. Quick appointment, reliable, extremely polite and customer-focused, good work & fair pricing! Only today Richard helped us again, highly recommendable.

Excellent advice, service and installation and Richard is so helpful and patient. Thank you

Fast reliable, great friendly service,

Excellent service from this company. They fitted a new lock and handles on my front door. I thoroughly recommend this company.

Richard was very friendly and knowledgable, accommodated our requirements and worked quickly and neatly to replace all our locks - superb service!

Superb locksmith, have used several times. Courteous, professional and fairly priced

Richard fitted a replacement front door lock for me today. I was impressed with his attitude and general demeanor. It was good to experience customer service of this quality - when many companies have forgotten the importance of treating people courteously. And he did a first class job very quickly. I would definitely use Toons again.

I was in a really tricky situation with being locked out and Toon Locksmiths sorted things out promptly. Many thanks!

Highly recommended. I had purchased a new home and needed locks to be changed. I was very pleased that regardless of the number doors I had, I could have one key for all doors. I found the quoting process very easy, straightforward, and without any pressure to purchase anything. I found the pricing very fair and honest. I will definitely use Bernard Toon and Sons for all of my locksmith needs.

Fantastic service from start to finish! Phoned up in the morning and Richard was there by mid afternoon. Having a broken door lock in a business is bad enough but having a trust worthy master locksmith’s on your books is worth its weight in gold. Definitely my first port of call for any lock issues. Thank you guys for an amazing service. From Mick Whelan Whelan’s Hairdressing & Barbers

This is third time that this company has helped our family across 3 different households. 100% satisfied every time.

Efficient and friendly service. Nothing too much trouble. Would recommend.

Absolutely brilliant service! Really reliable and professional service. New lock fitted, done within an hour of calling them. Would definitely recommend and will always use them as very reasonably priced!

Richard was very prompt and helpful in advising us how best to upgrade our existing locks. Fitted quickly and efficiently. Would 100% recommend.

Fantastic, prompt service. Very professional & an excellent job done. Replacement keys cut too. Very impressed - will always use this Locksmith's.

Just after 5pm, two kids and locked outside of my house. And i was in my house back on schedule by 6. Cant ask for more, brilliant service and a top guy. Thankyou

Faultless. Everything you could wish for. Thanks

Excellent prompt and friendly service, and great to deal with a local locksmith. Also very pleased with Richard's advice as to what we might need, and what we didn't!

Excellent service highly recomnended

A pleasure to do business with - routine job efficiently done and dusted within 24 hours. Friendly, knowledgeable, expert service.

Richard did a great job fixing our back door, which wasn't properly aligned with the frame - wouldn't shut properly. All sorted now ! Quick to respond, and a friendly service - thanks Richard!

Many locksmiths have a bad reputation for several well deserved reasons so it was refreshing to receive excellent service from this Company. Bernard Toon & Son were prompt, courteous, honest and very skillful. Rather than fit a new lock they repaired the old one (much cheaper) and it is working better than ever - recommended.

A very quick response and super efficient remedy to our problem lock. Would highly recommend!

Thanks very much to Richard! The service was extremely professional from start to finish. My grandma, (in her 80s), had a problem with her window locking late on a Friday night. We were asked to provide photos to confirm if the parts would be available. We were given an update on the Monday as promised! Then Richard went look at the issue himself as promised and on time. The issue wasn't as bad as first thought. He found a solution and charged an extremely reasonable price. My grandma was very happy! Thank you! We would definitely recommend this company! Other companies quoted a price before even looking at what the issue was.

Good service, professional, friendly, was flexible enough to fit locks out of hours for us. Is also a Master Locksmiths Association member, the MLA do DBS checks and verification of locksmith experience on all members.

Excellent service from Bernard, Arrived within 30 mins, looked at the problem with my front door, he had to source the right mechanism from his stock, returned within 25 mins, replaced the broken mechanism and all done to my satisfaction within 70 mins, excellent work and price compared with other Locksmiths l phoned, will highly recommend Bernard, very professional from start to finish
