We lost our keys while out in Brighton - nightmare! Jeff was with us in less than 20 minutes and able to work his magic to create us a brand new key within half an hour. He was really friendly and great at keeping us in the loop (we had little ones so waited elsewhere). Highly recommended 👌

Used Jeff to sort a new fob/remote key for my car. He is a true gentleman and professional. He will listen to your issue and explain in details what he’ll try to do to sort you out. Cannot recommend him enough. If you have problems with your car keys, Jeff is your guy. A real gem.

A really lovely man, very helpful and polite. My van battery had died and I couldn’t open the bonnet without getting inside so I wasn’t able to charge it and use my key fob and I didn’t have a key to manually open the door locks. I called late at night and I was seen first thing in the morning, the van was open in moments and the gentleman then charged my battery for me and cut a new key with his mobile key cutting unit in the back of his van that opened the doors manually if I ever had the same issue again. The whole process only took about 45 minutes and I was only charged £120 for everything when I was expecting to fork out hundreds. Just a really great thorough and efficient service, I would highly recommend. Very reasonable rates and fast

Jeff is brilliant. Great service and really good value. Came out to my house, supplied and coded a new spare keyless remote fob, and cut 2 new emergency keys for my Ford Mondeo. Also whilst he was here I happened to mention that my wife’s C3 pluriel would not unlock from key fob or key in door. He managed to get in recode the fob and all at no extra charge. It’s so great to receive such brilliant service.

We had our bag stolen in Barcelona and unfortunately our car key was inside meaning we had no means of getting home once we landed. Jeff was amazing. He called exactly when he said he would and we came up with a suitable plan. He came out to our place of parking and spent several hours accessing our car and cutting us a new key/fob. Jeff was an utter professional, very patient and an excellent problem solver. Stuck without a key (after losing it on a night out) he came out on Easter Saturday and managed to overcome issues with a previously installed door lock, picked the ignition, created the correct code and got the new key cut and connected to the car. He kept us updated throughout the process and made sure we understood the difficulties and ultimately fixed and solved the problem and got us on our way. Very reasonably priced too. Many thanks

I couldn’t rate higher. After much searching, many quotes, and many disappointments from other providers, I received an honest quote for my needs and excellent, punctual service. I had managed to snap the blade on both my car keys. All other providers, without fail, quoted me for the fob replacement with blade. Not here. I was quickly quoted for both replacement fob or just replacement blades. When I asked the difference I was given a simple explanation so I could make my own choice, which was the cheaper option in my case. Jeff was available the same day, arrives punctually, was incredibly nice and also immediately recognised why my blades had broken (ongoing weight from my bunch of keys!) He gif on with things and sent me off to my flat, calling me to come down when finished. He then checked the keys with me watching. Totally recommend!! Welcome to the area Jeff!

Recently bought a car through Carvana(also 5 stars) and it came with only one key. Carvana ordered another key and in 4 days I had my new one. Derrick with Car Key Express came to my house when he said he would and the process only took ten minutes. He was very friendly and explained everything. My key broke in the ignition a guy came spent along time trying to get broken key out with no success,so I payed 25.00 call out charge ,I took the car to another locksmith and they got the broken key out within ten minutes ,would not use again

Geoff is a very rude person, he takes your money then hangs up the phone when you challenge him. 'NOT MY PROBLEM' are his favourite words. Steer clear of this clown as he will rip you off!!

A very apaulling service. I got keys made for my Peugeot 207 last October which cost me £100. When the guy came to install it, it took him several attempts to get the immobiliser programmed into the car. In the end he managed to do it but he couldn’t programme it properly. After using it for a few attempts, the key started to play up and wouldn’t open the car door. I phoned Jeff after a few months saying the key wouldn’t open the car door at all times, he suggested to visit Timpsons to get the battery changed. This was done however the problem still remained, I continued to use the key as it opened the door at times until it stopped completely. Recently I was stranded in a shopping centre when the car key would not even start my engine, it kept saying anti theft on my dashboard. It was a horrible situation and I needed someone to pick me up. When I visited my local garage, they advised me that the immobiliser was not programmed to the car correctly initially which is why the car failed to identify the key. There was no problem with the battery. I phoned the Car Key Express company and explained the situation, his response was very rude and he replied that this was not his problem and the key was working fine at the time. I wasn’t expecting a refund after so long but wanted a better service but he was so rude and didn’t want to offer even a good customer service. It would have been better ordering the key from Peugeot directly, atleast I wouldn’t have to deal with this stress and this level of poor customer service. I wouldn’t even give it a 1 star but google would not let post without clicking on the 1 star. I would not be going near this company ever again!

Called this service last week to do key duplicate for my car, the man came in the morning and said will get it done in 15-20mins. We initially tried my original key together and it worked properly to start the engine, and then he made a key cut for my car, he tried the new key to be put it into my ignition barrel, but it didnt't work as it doesn't turn, he keep trying few times and my steering got locked up and even my original key couldn't be used to start the engine now. And he tried to blame my ignition barrel is gone, and told me that his key working to open the door. I kept trying to say that door is different thing as ignition barrel is something more sensitive which related more to the security system in the car. He kept explaining to me that my barrel is gone, and kept trying to turn his key into my ignition barrel for more than 20mins. He left my car as he got another appoinment to do, I needed to go to work and had to take uber. He called my few hours after to come to my house again to try to fix it as he didn't really know what's happening too. I asked my wife to pass the key to him. Been trying and trying buy it didn't work and left my car due to another appoinment. He called me the next day that he couldn't fix the prob but he is not giving up and will find someone to come to my house to fix it (it was on Friday, he said it won't be done by the weekend I needed to wait for next week). Been waiting but no news as he told to buy the new part from the dealer for £299.00??!!?? I was so fxxxxx up as I needed to take taxi everyday to go to work. Even until now, he didn't even bother to call me to at least to tell me to try to handle it myself rather than keep waiting for him. I needed to call a big truck to tow my car and and sadly saw my car needed to be dragged as the steering locked. I sent it to the garage, and the mechanic told me that the ignition barrel gone because someone put the wrong key cut and keep forcing to turn the key. The mechanic also say that the key might be used to open the door but doesn't mean to start the engine too. Now, I need to order the new part and replace it. It costs me alot of more than I supposed to get a key duplicate. Such an irresposible service to put me into this situation. Noone even bother to call me and I don't bother to call them too as I know it's useless. Felt so dissapointed overall.

Keys and problem solved

Somewhat rude and unhelpful Had a spare key cut and it failed countless times and locked us out of the car and failed to lock. He wanted little to do with it to start with and reluctantly turned up to replace it. Would have been far easier and better to get a fully functional key from BMW.
