Showed us the only key which would make it work then ordered a new lock and extra keys and fitted it as soon as it arrrived. Very professional and excellent workmanship. Having recently moved house, Simon changed the lock barrel on our front door and straightened up the double lock which wasn’t working properly. I needed a locksmith quickly and looked on google and the first one i saw was Simon at Lockforce i phoned him up and straight away I felt so comfortable talking to him I didn’t have to look any further. I explained my situation and he was very helpful and we arranged a day and time for him to come and change my front and back door locks and he turned up early knowing that I was going out he gave me a option of new locks and changed them with ease and then he noticed my front door wasn’t lining up properly so he went ahead and did it with no charge. When I took possession of my forever house yesterday I tried the porch lock and found the door had been left open due to the previous owner breaking the key in the lock. I never have had to use a locksmith before so it was reviews and pot luck that I used Simon to come to the rescue. What a lovely person to start with, he explained what he was going to do, gave me the price and started doing the job. Having completed the task which wasn’t straight forward he went on to do a few adjustments to the door and again told me what he was doing. Simon came all the way out to Totland, arriving a polite tad early, to fix my front door lock. This smart, genteel, considerate and friendly fellow even checked with me if he should leave his shoes outside. The job turned out to be a quick, easy fix, but then Simon had the temerity to refuse his just reward! No kindness should go unpunished, hence I leave this modest review as a small but sincerely-felt act of gratitude, which I would have done anyway, even if I had paid for his services. He also had all the new parts he needed to complete the job on each of the two doors, which was the deciding factor that he should get the work. I contacted Simon on Monday as my patio door had jammed and he turned up as promised Tuesday lunchtime. Apart from adjusting the door, this lovely man showed me how to adjust it myself should the same problem arise in the future. Cowes - I lost my key and had no other way to get into my home. I googled ‘local locksmiths’ and Simon at Lockforce was my first call. It was 7:30pm on a freezing cold & dark December evening. Highly recommend. Went the extra mile. We were locked in - on the 1st visit Simon gained access and fitted an overnight locking mechanism. He took away the whole locking mechanism and fitted a new gearbox and realigned keeps to allow door to lock and unlock properly. Simon was friendly, efficient and professional, and tidied up as he went along. Excellent service at a reasonable price.

Simon changed both locks quickly. He only needed to remove the barrels as I supplied new locks. However, both locks were impossible for a non-locksmith to remove as the screws had be over tightened and the screw heads damaged. Despite this, Simon was able to remove both barrels efficiently, without damage to the doors.

Simon was punctual, polite and very helpful. Explaining everything he was doing and also how to adjust our door, should we need to do it ourselves in future. Two brand new locks fitted as requested. Great service.

I had a number of issues with the locks on my doors - hence contacting Simon from LockForce. Simon took time to evaluate the issue, plus tested all doors within the property to ensure that at no time would I be locked out of cupboards, rooms etc. After evaluating the situation - a plan of action was drawn up with the most urgent areas being addressed immediately. Simon then came back to fix other potential problem areas. Simon was courteous at all times, set my expectations, extremely tidy, plus was true to his word as in arriving on time. I needed some lock repairs / replacements to doors in a commercial property I own so I contacted Simon at Lockforce. On attending the premises, Simon ascertained exactly what was required very quickly and called me to talk through the options. Simon was very clear with his advice and carried out the work quickly and efficiently, returning promptly once some parts were available. All of this was completed with minimal fuss & disruption to my business. My manager also advised that he was very professional whilst carrying out the repairs, was easy to talk to and knew exactly what he was doing. This all tied in nicely with my good experience and communication with Simon. I was additionally happy with the final invoice as it was very reasonable for the work involved. Next time we require a locksmith I will definitely contact Lockforce again and would highly recommend them.
