Great service really helped me out last minute!!

Our front door lock mechanism was grinding so much that we were finding it really difficult to open it, also one of our kitchen windows mechanism had snapped and couldn’t be opened. I got in touch with ASL Blandford and told them our problems. The very next day Locksmith Chris Kelly turned up and mended both the door and window. He explained everything he was doing to us and carried out the works to an excellent standard. His experience and professionalism was second to none. Highly recommend ASL to anyone who has any lock problems within their house. Thank you so much.

We called after a fault in our front door lock developed. Hannah was very polite and helpful on the phone and Morgan attended, who was equally helpful and friendly. Removed the lock, left us a temporary lock in place, and immediately ordered the correct size lock, with the right specification and features we wanted. Excellent service, reasonably priced, and very prompt to boot. Would recommend unreservedly.

I managed to lose the keys to my old 1993 volvo. Another locksmith company didn't want to deal with it because of the age. I rang Martin at ASL late Monday eve, by tuesday afternoon he had visited, helped me get into the car and had 3 new keys cut. Perfect, friendly service at a surprisingly low price.

Popped into the shaftesbury branch but unfortunately he couldn't get into my key. Very friendly and professional and did all he could. Phoned the blandford branch which shaftesbury suggested and had an appointment within 48 hours. Unfortunately I needed a new car key made as it couldn't be fixed but within 30 minutes it was done. Very friendly and professional service. He showed me what the problem was and even replaced a bit on my old key so I could put it on a keyring as this broke sometime ago and had to just have it loose ( I did go to shaftesbury to ask at the time if that problem could be resolved but was told no, which is a little annoying). Very happy with the service and cost and if anyone needs a key sorting i will definitely be recommending the blandford branch!

I have had cause to use this excellent company on several occasions over many years for both home and vehicle security: most recently today for car keys. On every occasion they have been courteous, friendly, professional and very efficient. A lovely company run by lovely people. Always a pleasure to deal with and people in whom I have total confidence. I unhesitatingly recommend them all; Archie in the shop here in Shaftesbury, Hannah on the telephone when arranging an appointment and Martyn at their business premises in Blandford who did the technical stuff. New secondhand van and only 1 key! J Day Engineering at Henstridge recommended ASL and got a price. Thought I’d check the main dealer and got a price cheaper BUT - there’s always a BUT, key un programmed was just over half quoted by ASL but the other main dealer recommended programming company asked if I had the key card and you guessed it - NO, its probably with the other key! Ah was the reply and therefore we cannot reprogram a key without it so you would need the complete replacement kit which comes with 2 keys for £440 but the programming would be extra (didn’t ask) Thought I better check with ASL to see if this was going to be a repeat story but no, they have new software that allows them to carry on without the additional replacement complete key kit. Anyway they turned up, communication was excellent and service was 1st class. Most important part, key worked in the ignition and the remote worked like the original. What a result, saved me money and piece of mind with 2 keys now - 10/10

Great team of people. Helped me out by providing something the VW dealers were struggling with due to lack of key fobs in the UK for a 2017 Beetle. Multiple 'We do any key' type companies didn't want to know and stated dealer only. ASL sorted it out without issue. Appreciated.

After being super helpful and arranging a locksmith to come out, moving some things around their side, turned out my neighbour had a key. So no locksmith needed but great customer service.

Communications brilliant. Scott handled my problem efficiently and quickly. Didn’t even have to go to their main HQ. Their engineer was local and redirected to my house within the same morning. Job completed within half an hour.

Martin from ASL Dorset locksmiths managed to repair the ignition barrel on my car and also made two new keys.. absolutely brilliant service as I was imaging needing the whole unit with the chip, so happy to not have what could have been a massive expense

Left my key with them, and, Having heard nothing for 4 days, returned to the centre, to be told that no one had looked at it yet. It was still on the desk where he had put it when I gave it to him. To be fair, he came back to me later that day, and the issues were resolved within 24 hours. Poor start, got better. Left another key with him to be fixed over the weekend. Good price. I agree that you responded quickly, and I was just as quick to edit the original review. Best Regards.

I ended up with a broken car key and contacted DSL. Martin got back to me immediately and fitted me in the next day. He was prompt, friendly and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend DSL. Great company and much cheaper than buying from the car manufacturer.

I arrived without an appointment and the man on site was already busy, but I left my partner's broken key on his desk, and 20 minutes later it was done. He even put a new cut key in and a Kia backing to the casing, I was just expecting the innards to be transferred and that would be that. And for £40 it seemed very reasonable. Thank you for a great, swift service.

I had to shop around to find a car locksmith who was willing to copy and transfer a programme onto keyless entry remote key. ASL said they could do it and they did. ASL did a quick efficient job.

Scott & Archie responded super quickly when I had an emergency at my home, with large bi-fold doors not being able to be locked, meaning my home wasn't secure. They came out within 1 hour of calling, fitted a strong temporary lock to make my home safe, then sourced a replacement lock which was hard to find due to the style, yet went out of their way to get it, then within a few days were back to fit and finish the job. They were flexible and fitted in with my availability & work, and were so neat & tidy and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend ASL for all your lock, key & security needs. 5 Star service!

Fixed my duff electronic car key in about 15 mins start to finish. Very friendly service and told me everything he was doing to my key and car. Good price too.

New ford remote car key cut and coded in 30mins. Excellent service, less than half the price of ford.

Didn't have any work done so I can't comment on there quality of work, however, I rang them on Friday about 1700 hoping someone would still be in as it was an emergency. He got really funny that I rang him, as he was at home and basically said I was allowed to call him one more time as it was getting silly .Point is, if you don't want people to ring you out of ours on your business number, either don't answer it or have a separate number for personal use .just put me off altogether.
