Wow! What a great company. We had given up hope of having a solid roof put on our conservatory, mainly due to the ridiculous quotes we had been getting from other companies. Vantage have a fantastic new system of a completely new built solid roof which they leave beautifully plastered and ready for decoration. I found all the men working on our roof, polite and very appreciative of coffee and cakes at regular intervals. After years of contemplating getting the conservatory roof changed, from being a greenhouse in summer and a no go zone in winter, we had a friend invite us to his house as he had just had his roof done. What a transformation, they were more than happy, we came home and got in touch with Craig. From that initial contact, to coming and quoting he was very informative and polite. Once we agreed a date he explained fully the next steps. Even managed to move our fix date so it could be done before our holiday. The gang of 3 guys came on the Monday laid tarpaulin over our lawn and filled it with all the materials that were needed, from then on they were respectful of our garden and house, polite and efficient, we plied them with drinks and ice cream as it was so hot in June. At no time was the old roof left in sight, the guys all worked together brilliantly, they then advised us they had a plastering team again these were efficient and polite, what a difference that part alone made, an electrician to do the spot lights and a all in all Craig and the whole team were amazing and we would definitely recommend them. I recently had the pleasure of hiring Craig, Scott, Jamie, and Mike, along with their talented team of expert plasterers, to replace the glass roof of my conservatory with a Supalite roof. This task was no straightforward undertaking, as my conservatory is an unusually large shape, characterised by walls that were far from the conventional 90-degree angles. From the very first day, Craig stood out by providing clear and informative explanations regarding both the product and the extensive work that was to be carried out. His communication set a positive tone for the entire project. Throughout the process, the team exhibited an incredible work ethic. They worked tirelessly to ensure that the new roof was installed correctly, and I truly could not fault their level of professionalism. They were consistently polite and respectful, treating my home with care and consideration, which is something I find increasingly rare these days. Each member of the team took immense pride in the quality of their work; this was evident in every detail of their craftsmanship. At the end of each day, they made sure to tidy up impeccably. So this Team of guys pitched up one morning and proceeded to take over our back garden, half bringing round seemingly endless piles of materials and the other half ripping into our tired old conservatory roof, which by 10am was completely removed! By just after 4pm, the new roof structure was on and the conservatory watertight! This was, of course a very well rehearsed routine for this Team of utter professionals, and whilst the job wasn't yet complete, outside the conservatory footprint you would never know they'd been here! The job was fully completed as per specification at the end of day three, with the expert plasterer finishing off the ceiling. A week (or so) later once the plaster had dried and we had finished decorating, Craig and Scott returned to fit and connect the lighting....job done! Well that was almost three years ago and I had initially planned to write this review after the first summer and then winter had passed! However, I then really felt the need to wait another full year in order to 'compare' successive seasons! So here we are approaching the third anniversary of our 'New' conservatory, which had rapidly become a much loved new space where we could enjoy our Garden during sun, rain, or snow! No longer was this an unbearable, no-go sauna during the summer, or a freezing ice-room during the winter! The construction properties of the new roof have proved over these years to be exactly as described and hoped for, from Craigs' initial meeting with us at the outset. We remain absolutely delighted with the new roof, which looks as good today as it was when completed, its quality of construction, materials and workmanship, and have since been happily, and without hesitation, recommending the Vantage Team to several good friends, who, in-turn have 'taken the plunge' and been equally delighted! So finally, after all this time, a massive 'Thank you and Well Done!' to Craig and the Team!
Having a new roof put on my conservatory by Craig and his team has been the best thing I have ever done. The results are amazing. From quote to finished roof, the service has been faultless. The team were all polite, punctual, hard working and left the site clear at the end of every day. The new roof has made such a difference. Already I'm noticing how much warmer it is in the house. What a very professional company, turned up Thursday before and laid protection over floor, arrived Monday morning, old roof taken off and all made waterproof by the afternoon, worked very cleanly and done a very good job, plastering and everything completed Thursday afternoon, and they left the conservatory and garden area spotless, the roof looks absolutely superb

The install process of the new roof system was full of details that showed the absolute care and professionalism i have not seen for many years. The level of detail in the fitting, even parts you will never see again, was astounding. Surface protection was laid before i said “Good morning”. Swiftly, seamlessly and silently they all went about the job. Communicating by telepathy. Everyone just knew what to do and when. Measure once, check it, measure again, are we happy, install, check again. I have seen many building companies over the years cut a few corners but Craig and his team are perfectionists. They even turn up with their own cups, kettle and tea bags. No fuss, no mess, all tools packed away tidy every day. Ninja synchronised roof installers. The whole process was excellent. The product is excellent. The transformation from polycarbonate roof to full roof has made a massive improvement. It was a pleasure to pay the final invoice. It was worth every penny. I would recommend Craig 100%.

Craig and his team delivered the Conservatory roof components the week before the start date, and arrived when promised with a larger team than usual, in order to minimise the length of time that the roof was open to the elements - it was pouring down! For the last couple of years I have been obtaining quotes and looking at reviews of various companies to replace my Glass Conservetory roof with a tiled and fully insulated roof. Vantage completed my Conservetory Roof last week. From Start to Finish the service was superb. They gave me dates when the materials would arrive and when the work would commence. On the first day (Monday) the weather was awful but they still came and prepared everything ready for the next day. Tuesday the weather was good and they had the old roof off and the new roof on and made watertight. Wednesday/ Thursday installation work was completed ready for internal plastering on Friday. Plastering and a really good clean up completed the work to a very high standard. Very pleased with everything that was undertaken and I have no hesitation in recommending this company.
Originally we had a glass lantern roof on our orangery off our kitchen. During the various lockdowns of 2020/2021 we started to consider having insulated panels fitted into our existing lantern frame. This was to stop solar gain which was making our orangery extremely uncomfortable during hot weather and to provide thermal insulation during the winter. Sadly, despite our best efforts, the first attempt at fitting insulated panels into a new lantern failed leaving us extremely nervous of any new contractor. We contacted David Purcell, of DHP Plans, a local architect in Verwood, whose professional support was invaluable. David had commissioned Vantage Conservatory Roof Solutions to replace the existing roof on his conservatory with a light weight solid roof solution. Craig, from Vantage Conservatory Roof Solutions, visited our home, arrived punctually and advised us about the SupaLite roof system his company offered. He brought a model of the roof frame complete with insulation to give us a better idea of its construction. Our biggest concern was the size and placement of the one glazed unit. We did not want the glass to extend to the roof apex so settled on a smaller unit. A couple of weeks later we had a quote which we accepted and we were given a start date. This date didn't change. It was, quite simply, the best decision we have made since deciding to move from glass to a solid roof. I will list our satisfaction in Craig’s service in bullet point form - Before arriving at our home Craig punctually replied to many somewhat neurotic/nervous questions. He never dismissed us as fussy or difficult clients. - The installation date was confirmed and stuck to despite the weather. - The Thursday before work began on the following Monday the roof was delivered to our property. Craig and Jamie were on site to take delivery. They then worked for a couple of hours preparing for the start on Monday. - Monday arrived, it was raining and windy. Our orangery has a wooden floor and is fully decorated and some of our furniture was still in situ, so our nerves were on edge. Due to the professionalism of Craig and his team, Scottie and Jamie, not one drop of water entered our orangery. - Craig is on-site constantly. Nothing escapes his attention. Craig, Scottie and Jamie work as a team. On day one, the Monday, they removed the existing roof, installed the frame of the new roof and we were water tight before they left that afternoon. - Those guys worked hard - and they cleaned up after themselves! - We immediately appreciated the warmth that the new, still a work in progress, roof provided. - The plasterer Grant arrived, as scheduled, on the Thursday. This just highlights the organised and professional service provided by Vantage Conservatory Roof Solutions. Jamie arrived to clean up after the plasterer (who was superb) and on the Friday Craig and Jamie arrived to top and tail any outstanding issues. They added extra trim between the roof and the upstand. - The external view of the new roof is everything we hoped for. It blends in perfectly between the existing house and garage roofs. - The gutter around the roof ensures that it is a lot quieter than our previous lantern when it is raining. - It is now much warmer in our orangery. The new roof also retains heat in the room when the fire is on. It is also much quieter than before and oddly we don't have to have the volume on the tv up so high. - This SupaLite roof has completely integrated the orangery into the house. Would we employ them again - without hesitation. Would we recommend them - without hesitation. Are we grateful for David Purcell’s guidance and recommendation - without hesitation.
Craig, Scott & Jamie did a superb job in converting the roof on our Conservatory, all in one week, we are extremely grateful. We now have a room that we can use instead of a greenhouse. Can't believe the amount of insulation that went into the roof space, we have already noticed the temperature difference. I am quite a DIY'er myself, so can appreciate that this is a quality product that they use and their workmanship was of a massively high standard. Also a big shout out to Grant & Nuno who plastered the roof on the inside, once again great workmanship. Highly recommend these guys if you are considering a conservatory roof extension.

New conservatory roof-Team came to set up covered carpets with sheets of ply wood and covers on top of that, boards put down over grass to protect it. All work carried out without fuss even when we weren't there. Work took a week but conservatory water tight on first day. I can highly recommend this company. They have just finished our conservatory. They dug the footing out by hand as they didn't want to disturb the remaining patio stones. Its a small family business and the other subcontractors are as thorough and thoughtful as the main team. When they leave everything is tidied swept tools away and the patio is hosed down. Their workmanship is next to none and i would have no hesitation in having them again for any other building work i might need. One amazing team absolute pleasure to have them here.
