MDS Home & Garden Maintenance Services

Brilliant service from the first phone call. Understood what we and advised little changes. Finished work is bang on.

Excellent work, some awkward spaces, and hot weather to contend with. (very patient when I changed my mind about things.) I'd recommend Mick and his team, they've done a great job.

I emailed them 2 weeks ago for a quote and didn’t get any reply!

Did excellent job many comments on back garden

Mick has been maintaining my garden for a year now, cutting the lawn & hedges. He is very reliable & always contacts me when he is due to come. He works very hard & my garden looks very nice when he's finished. I would recommend him 100%

Mick was extremely professional and helpful making my over grown garden back to a state of management. He gave plenty of advice for future growth and maintenance. Very reasonably priced. Looking forward to the next few months when he uses his own vision to make it a beautiful garden again!! Highly recommended!! Thanks Mick

Hired to restore a heavily overgrown garden. I received a very fair quote considering the amount of work. They were quick, professional and cleaned up all the waste once the job was completed.

Excellent workmanship, positive throughout with challenges encountered along the way. Reliable and efficient. Highly recommended.

Mick and his team did a Stella job with our fence replacement. Talked us through each step and got the job done efficiently. Great work!

We hired him to completely sort out my mum’s garden after it had been left unfinished and in a mess. From start to finish he was professional, reliable, and very easy to deal with. The job included clearing everything, new decking with safety rails, gravel and slate areas, fencing, and a decking bridge from the back door to remove unsafe steps. Everything was done to a high standard and with real thought for my mum’s safety and ease of use. The garden now looks fantastic and, more importantly, is safe and easy for my mum to use. We are absolutely delighted with the result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Mick and his team were extremely efficient, kind and punctual from start to finish — from the first contact through to payment. He visited on two separate occasions, and the work carried out was brilliant. Better than we'd initially envisaged! He went above and beyond, even offering helpful advice on other matters discussed in conversation. I’ll definitely be using MDS again and would highly recommend them to others.

Completely professional, efficient, punctual, upfront. Made use of several times, including great jobs in pointing the house and an amazing transformation of our tired backyard into a proper garden. Treats our garden decking every year. Most recently used to repair potentially hazardous loose coping stone on brick wall at front of house; soon fitted us in and did polished job

Mick came to re-treat the driveway gates he made and fitted two years ago. Still look like new. Would recommend to anybody.

They did a very good job fitting decking for us. By working on the bank holiday they were able to fit in our job at short notice. Hard working, friendly and punctual - arrived before 8am each day. Cleared up afterwards - so no mess. Would happily recommend to others.

Contacted mick to see if he could put right some work I had done by another gardener they have done an amazing job and I cannot recommend MDS gardening and maintenance services enough would definitely have these guys again

Mick and Benjy did a great job. They turned up when they said they would and completed everything within the advised timescale, even though I asked them to do more than what was planned. They were very friendly, efficient, tidy and the result was better than I had imagined. I would highly recommend them.

They've not even bothered responding to my quote email, so I don't know if they're any good or not.

Lovely team, very friendly - were down for two days but managed to do a fantastic job in one! The garden had been neglected - it now looks beautiful and so much bigger, tidy and requires little maintenance. Price was really reasonable, too. Highly recommend!

Wonderful job today from Mick, came earlier at my request Would recommend to anyone Thanks Mick

Very professional and great result. Can highly recommend

Mick and his team did an amazing job on our daughter's garden. Due to disability my daughter hadn't been able to manage the maintenance and it was incredibly overgrown. They removed all the buddleia that had taken over, re-turfed the lawn, gravelled the back space and installed new fences and a gate, before pressure washing the path and driveway. They were reliable, took control of everything for us and started and finished on time. For the work they did they were very good value.

Very pleased with the work Mick did. Jet washed block paving and after jet washing slabs repointed them. Also did some painting for me.

Awful! Guy on the phone couldn’t wait to shut the conversation down I didn’t even have time to ask anything. Suggest to choose your worker more wisely

Cemented in the aerial clothes dryer, repointed some of the bay and sprayed the patio and drive with weed killer. As efficient, prompt and friendly as usual. I can thoroughly recommend Mick.

Mick and the team were great. Fair price and the work completed brilliantly. Kept us informed, and did exactly what we needed. 100% recommended!

Mick and the team did a great job. They were on time and work really hard. They left everywhere tidy when finished. They did a fantastic job building our new wooden gazebo. We are really pleased with it and highly recommend them.

Mick has done a brilliant job pointing our house and replacing our guttering. He was on time, friendly, polite and worked with a smile. We are so glad we chose him to do the work for us

Good advice on our fencing needs, replacement fence completed promptly and at a fair price. Highly recommend.

Installed a new side gate and fencing to property. Cut back all grass and shrubs to reveal parts of the garden I had not seen. Advised on maintenance of garden and how to improve it. Very pleased with work done so far.

If quality, value and style’s what you’re after I’d recommend Mick’s team - they’re honest, real grafters From first consultation to final completion Each step of the way you'll find they’re well decent.

Very prompt efficient service throughout. Nice people to deal with at a good price.

Replace wooden fence and double gate. Started and finished work on agreed dates arriving 8.00 am each day. Work was finished to a high standard Would use again on future projects

2 new gates needed and a small bit of fencing - absolutely fantastic work and the gate at the side of the house is beautiful and very strong as well. Thanks again!

Mick and team were engaged to replace a large number of fence panels, dig out brambles, cut down some mature firethorn. Also rework some of my fencing, put in double gates and a shed base. They arrived at 07:45 each morning for a week in bad weather to complete the job. Regularly communicated during the work and cleaned up after works completed. Very happy! Thursday 6th June 2024, Mick and team have returned a further two times to complete the remaining phases on my garden makeover. I now have a shrubs I bought planted around the perimeter and new decking. Additionally now have a pagoda and pond now set in a lawned area and another area stoned read for when i get a poly tunnel. Really friendly team who are easy to get on with.

This company couldn't do enough. They did a fabulous job. They were punctual efficient and made sure that the area where they worked was clean before they left. One happy customer.Five stars given for a five star company.

Really good and efficient workers. Lovely people, did an excellent job and cleared up thoroughly afterwards, Would recommend them wholeheartedly

Great professional service from Mick and Benj. We were originally quoted for 2 jobs: a new purpose built fence and guttering repair. However, upon inspection Mick noticed that the guttering wasn’t in need of repair and instead just needed cleaning out. Really appreciate the honesty because it saved us some money. The fence looks great and displays a great deal of craftsmanship and experience to overcome the challenges the job presented. Would thoroughly recommend MDS to friends and family. Cheers guys

Really great job would recommend to anyone. Very friendly and professional

I would highly recommend MDS Home & Garden maintenance. After being let down by other tradesmen I was starting to think I’d never get my my shed base done, I contacted MDS Home & Garden Maintenance for quote and was booked in for a home visit, Mick came round on a Sunday morning, he asked what I wanted doing and he gave me a price explaining the work he would do & a date he could do the work. On the day he said he would do the job he was there on time with his team. Overall I am very impressed with the standard of work & customer service from MDS & I will definitely use them again in the future for other projects. Thank you Mick & your team I’ll be in touch about the other jobs.

We had a front and back garden transformation and we couldn't be happier with the result. Mick and his team we here every morning before 8am, worked through all weather and kept us updated every step of the way. The team were polite, hard working and did an incredible job! We can't wait to have them back for more work in the Summer. Would highly recommend

Great service installing decking. Good end result and reliable communication throughout

Michael did an exceptional job replacing a side gate for my mum. Good quality workmanship, done on time and even though a problem was encountered whilst doing the job, which wasn't any fault of Michael, he stayed and reassured my mum whilst it was sorted. Area left clean and tidy, would highly recommend.

Mick is always my go-to choice for garden maintenance. He works with tremendous efficiency and politeness, and offers excellent prices. This morning he and his team removed (and disposed of) a massive ivy hedge and c. 12 metres of broken fence without the slightest fuss, and left the garden immaculately tidy afterwards. Thanks so much for a brilliant job! Update (18/12/23): Mick returned to install the replacement fence. As always, the service was exceptionally reliable and offered at a competitive price. The work was carried out with great efficiency, and to a very high standard of craftsmanship. MDS rightly take great pride in their work, and are always an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Recently used MDS to replace a fence panel and install new garden gates. Excellent quality of workmanship and cost. Mick was very helpful and communicated well throughout the process of arranging the work. He arrived promptly and worked efficiently, removing all rubbish and leaving areas clean and tidy. Very happy with the work completed, would highly recommend.

MDS have done several jobs for me and Mick and his staff have proved to be very good - they arrive on time and complete the work in a professional way to a high standard. Today they dug out a small lawn and replaced it with gravel. Did an excellent job. Highly recommended.

Mick replaced a fence for us at a very reasonable price and we have used him since for general garden maintenance, highly recommended.

Mick and the team have been looking after my garden for over a year now and have done a great job in improving it over that time through maintenance as well as some bigger jobs. They are a reliable, professional and hard working team, and I look forward to continuing to use them going forward.

Mick recently installed water butts for me and painted three bedrooms. This is the third time he has done work for me. He always starts on the date agreed when accepting the quote for the work, and completes all the work on time. The quality of his work is very good and he leaves everything tidy and clean. If there are any concerns he is always happy to resolve them. Highly recommend.

Replaced fence panel and built a gate, all quality and did a cracking job, would definitely recommend and use again.

Mick and his team successfully delivered a major two-week improvement project in 2023, following a great series of earlier works in late 2020 on a much neglected house. Works included the removal of an old carport, repairing and repainting the host wall; full repointing of house; repairs to a leaking conservatory roof and gutters; construction of new raised beds and filling with tons of soil; a new gazebo, and patching up the driveway. The team arrived punctually each day, worked solidly, maintained safe and tidy works, and kept me informed. A pleasure to work with, trustworthy and good value.

Mick came last to cut our hedges which had not been done for 18 months. He did a great job and took all the cuttings away for us , as when you are a pensioner is most important and all done within the quoted price.

Excellent garden services , trimmed trees and bushes. Tidied boarders and mowed grass. Taken all rubbish away, very professional. Will use again in the future. Friendly and worked very efficiently.

They parked in front of our drive, with a dropped curb. Why?
