Rude unhelpful staff avoid

Fitted a kitchen from Magnets the other day, all floor and wall unit are very standard, could have found d better for cheaper online. Client was up sold worktops which were well over priced.

Terrible service, we popped in on Friday morning (29/12), we know what we need as it’s just an appliance and cupboard refresh of the existing kitchen. In the shop ready and willing to spend £’000’s .The woman couldn’t get us out the door fast enough “we can’t really do anything unless you book a design appointment” was one quote. She didn’t offer to help us book an appointment, didn’t offer to walk us through (or suggest we walk ourselves through) the cupboards/appliances on display. It was incredibly awkward she was keen to get back to her zoom call and we felt completely unwelcome.

Extremely poor communication and after sales. Don't take responsibility to resolve issues to the customers satisfaction.

Visited the Caterham branch today. Wanted to buy a single oven, combi oven and induction hob, however the 2 members of staff were too busy talking to each other to ask if I needed any help. I had to go ask for information about the appliances, and they simply handed me a brochure and went back to their conversation. Obviously the Caterham branch didn’t want the business. So I went to another store (not magnet) and made a purchase where the staff actually spoke to me and helped!

Good staff and not pushy

Very impressed with the manager here, Tim, who took time to guide us through the process with honest and helpful advice. At no time did we feel pressured and we have come away confident that our new kitchen will be just as we hope

Dreadful service at Magnets Crawley today. Store was empty except one couple browsing, but sales assistant was 'too busy ' to give me a price on some kitchen units and would not have time today as fully booked. The store was empty! They obviously don't want people to buy a magnet kitchen and with customer service like that, I will certainly go elsewhere!

Okay as kitchen showrooms go but was surprised by the seemingly lower quality of the options than expected. I always thought Magnet were a premium brand but it did not appear so.

I defintely recommend Magnet Caterham, or more specifically, the manager Tim. He was truly superb. Great attention to detail and really wants to ensure that the customer gets the best. (We delt with the Caterham branch between December 2018 and May 2019).

Nothing but great service from Tim and the team at Magnet Caterham! We are over the moon with our kitchen that was expertly fitted by a kitchen fitter recommended by Magnet. Tim was efficient in making changes throughout the process. He offered advice but allowed us to make our own choices, avoiding the hard sell. We stayed within budget by opting for the Luna range which was on special offer at the time and buying discounted appliances directly from Magnet, all of which we're really pleased with. A few finishing touches , replacing the cool lighting for warm, a big new table in the middle, and it will be perfect! Thanks Magnet! We LOVE it :-)
