Designer Kitchen Direct

Had our kitchen a few weeks and what a difference it's made. The whole experience was so relaxed. From the design by wendy, the building work by Mount renovations and the fitting by Jamie. It all came together seamlessly. Very professional and nothing too much trouble. Jamie even called in on his day off to sort a problem. We would highly recommend the whole team. Many thanks DKD

Love our new DKD bedroom! Everyone has been so lovely and attentive in ensuring the whole process was smooth and efficient.

I can’t thank Designer Kitchen Direct in Sheffield enough for their outstanding job. Visiting the showroom was fantastic and the choices on offer is truly extensive and personalised. The service we received after choosing our fabulous kitchen was second to none. From start to finish the professionalism and execution of works was truly outstanding. We were updated and kept informed every step of the way. The extremely skilled work force in every department (carpentry, electrical, plastering, decorating etc) were professional polite and always on time and a pleasure to deal with. My wife and I both work full time so organisation and timings were very important, this company delivered and very much exceeded our expectations. The kitchen is stunning, thank you all very much, you’re fabulous. Kind regards Richard & Liz Smart

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Designer Kitchen Direct. From start to finish, the service was outstanding. I received the very best help and support throughout the process, especially from Simon and Joel, who were both incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and always happy to help with any questions or changes. A special mention also goes to Julian, who did an amazing job fitting my new kitchen and utility. His workmanship was first-class, attention to detail was excellent, and everything was completed to a very high standard. The whole team made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and enjoyable. I’m absolutely thrilled with the final result and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Designer Kitchen Direct to anyone looking for quality, professionalism, and great customer service.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Designer Kitchen Direct in Sheffield! From the very beginning, the team were welcoming, professional, and incredibly helpful. The design process was a real highlight. Leah, our kitchen designer, was outstanding. She came up with so many thoughtful and creative ideas and really took the time to understand how we use our space. She suggested clever layout improvements and features we would never have considered ourselves, all while keeping everything practical and within our vision. Her knowledge and enthusiasm made the whole process exciting rather than overwhelming. The fitting stage was equally impressive. Julian, our fitter, was brilliant. He was friendly, approachable, and clearly very experienced. He worked with great care and attention to detail, kept his tools clean and organised, and left the space tidy at the end of each day. It made such a difference having someone in our home who was respectful, professional, and genuinely pleasant to be around. The finished kitchen has exceeded our expectations in every way. The quality, finish, and functionality are excellent, and everything feels solid and well made. We honestly could not be happier with the result. The Quooker tap in particular has been a complete life changer and we now wonder how we ever lived without it! xD We would highly recommend Designer Kitchen Direct to anyone looking for a bespoke kitchen and a smooth, stress free experience from start to finish.

We had our kitchen done by Designer Kitchen Direct in Sheffield and we’re really happy with how everything turned out. Mary was our designer and she was great. She was really patient, listened to what we wanted and came up with ideas that actually made the space work better. Nothing felt rushed and she was happy to tweak things until we were 100% happy with the design. The fitting team were also brilliant. They turned up when they said they would, kept the place really tidy and were respectful of the house, which makes a big difference when you’ve got people working in your home for days. They cleaned up at the end of each day and you could tell they took pride in what they were doing. The kitchen itself looks fantastic and feels really solid. We’ve had loads of compliments already from friends and family. Overall, it was a really positive experience and we’d happily recommend Designer Kitchen Direct in Sheffield to anyone thinking about getting a bespoke kitchen. Big thanks to Mary and the fitting team for making it all so smooth and stress-free.

We are absolutely thrilled with our perfect kitchen designed by Mary and the team. Mary and her team really have captured exactly what we'd imagined so effortlessly. Everyone has been so thorough, from DKD themselves to CC construction, one of DKD's preferred builders who completed the build, who were really easy to work with and there when you need them at the drop of a hat, working past usual hours to get the job done. We've felt so looked after by everyone involved and when you're entering into an unknown territory that is really important. Thank you DKD for the best quality kitchen and making our house the perfect home. We cannot recommend DKD highly enough. Emily and Rob

We are very pleased with our new kitchen, from the start to completion we were always able to discuss the on going work and any alterations we needed to include. The people we dealt with mainly Mary, Lauren, Sarah & Paul were great always available for any discussions needed. The guys from the building side (Mount Renovations ) were excellent, always tiding up before they left for the night. Fitting the kitchen was made to look very easy by Jamie & Morgan and done amazing quickly. The whole process was excellent and we would certainly recommend DKD Kitchens of Sheffield if you are considering a new kitchen.

Designer Kitchen Direct (DKD) designed our new kichen which was installed during November/December 2025. DKD arranged building work preparation prior to the kitchen being fitted and for a quartz worktop to be fitted. The work was all project managed on our behalf and communication at all times was very good. Simon, the Kitchen Designer was extremely helpful and very patient and the workmen that attended our property were pleasant and worked to a high standard. Julian the kitchen fitter worked extremely hard paying attention to detail that was second to none. Kelly at Artisan Stone was also very patient as we twice changed our mind before deciding on the worktop. We are extremely happy with our new Kitchen and so glad that we decided to go with Designer Kitchen Direct. If you want a high quality Job I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending DKD.

We are thrilled with our new DKD kitchen. Mary managed to incorporate an amazing amount of storage plus ovens, fridge, hob and even a dishwasher into our small kitchen - and fitted them into the very odd shape of our terraced home! My favourites are the waste and recycling bins and the amazing Quooker tap!! Particular thanks to the excellent kitchen fitter - Dean, who was so careful and thoughtful. The after-service from DKD has also continued to be great as we get used to the kitchen and ask for extras. Why didn’t we have a new kitchen earlier! Many thanks, Anne & David.

DKD have just installed our new kitchen and we are beyond delighted. The quality of the work has been fantastic but it is the end to end customer care that sets DKD apart. First contact was with Mary who was incredibly patient and helpful as 'we' chopped and changed our minds on the design options and provided sound advice on what might work best for us. Working with Mount Renovation and Artisan Stone, DKD managed the whole project, dismantling and disposing of the existing kitchen, installing the plumbing, electrics, quartz surfaces and cupboards and drawers. Jamie the fitter and Lee the electrician were fabulous - nothing was too much trouble and they are ably supported by a strong team who demonstrably enjoy their job and working together. Their communication throughout was excellent, their response to any query was pretty much instantaneous including coming to site to review and deal with and resolve any questions. This is an established family company that realises it is in a competitive market and whilst providing the highest quality products has made customer satisfaction their unique selling point. Thank you to the whole team!

We have just had the best experience using DKD for our new kitchen. Mary was a dream to work with, her patience and knowledge is second to none, the design is fantastic and so very practical and user friendly. Everyone involved from DKD was terrific, our fitter, Chris worked like a trouper and any small changes along the way were no problem at all. No holdups with appliances or units, a well oiled machine. I would highly recommend DKD to anyone thinking of a new kitchen. Thank you everyone at DKD.

DKD fitted my kitchen in December 2016 and I have been thinking about getting a Quooker tap fitted. I contacted DKD to discuss if this would be possible and wow, I cannot praise them enough! They were so friendly and talked me through all the options and so I have booked in to get it fitted! I went back to them because they did such and excellent job and even after 9 years my kitchen still feels like new - I have had no issues whatsoever in 9 years which I think speaks for the quality! Several family member have also used DKD for their kitchens since and are also all equally as impressed with the service, quality and high standards provided! I cannot recommend them enough and I would always go straight to them if I ever considered remodelling in the future. Thank you so much DKD!

I LOVE my new kitchen. DKD were just brilliant from the outset. I found the whole team to be yes very professional and good at what they do, but more than that, friendly and tolerant of my endless insecurities and tweaking of plans. Putting in a new kitchen is a very significant investment, and I struggled to make decisions, but they were astonishingly patient in trying to understand what I wanted. The actual build got passed over to their partner Mount Renovation who were also outstanding. They liaised with other builders on site, and took away all the angst of trying to organise construction work. There were some hiccups along the way due to unexpected discoveries once walls started coming down, but the team came up with solutions and kept me informed at every stage. I did end up blowing my budget quite significantly, but that was down to me becoming more ambitious, as I felt confident in the work that was being done and decided to extend my plans. The designer did try to keep me on track. However, I have no regrets. I have future proofed my home and have many practical solutions in place that make not only the kitchen much more workable, but my whole downstairs space. My teenage self would be horrified that I could be so delighted by a utility cupboard that stacks my washing machine and tumble drier for example, and yet I truly am. On completion, you too will be opening and closing random kitchen cupboards just so you can gaze inside and enjoy the soft close features over and over again. I felt very comfortable with everyone who came to my home, they treated my property with respect, and were also willing and able to give ear scratches to a neighbour's dog who is a frequent visitor so passed that test with flying colours. I was going to list everyone who contributed in this review, but decided against, partly for fear of missing someone out by accident but honestly, because I think it is the whole team that makes the service good, including those you might not see. I feel like they care about the quality of what they offer, and are in it for the long term. I did shop around and in the end opted for DKD for the wrap around support and friendly, approachable and good humoured service. The Mount Renovation team become part of the family whilst they are in, I actually missed them for a bit once they moved on! I have no reservations in recommending DKD. You can't get away from the fact that redoing a kitchen is potentially expensive and inevitably disruptive, but for me it was well worth it, and has transformed my home. Thank you everyone at DKD and MR. You are STARS!

We got a large kitchen and utility room fitted this summer. Mary designed everything based on what we wanted and it was manufactured and installed to look just as the plan had been. Our thanks to the whole DKD team for a job extremely well done.

Can’t praise DKD enough. We have had our kitchen, utility, pantry and a main bedroom filled by them. Every experience has been exceptional. From initial discussions, design ideas through to detailed planning. All of the preparation sees every detail thought of and carefully planned. Our master carpenter installer Julian was a true craftsman with an eye for detail. Working in a professional and tidy manner he went above and beyond to provide a great finish. No hesitation to recommend to anyone who wants a job with a higher level of quality and design

Cannot recommend DKD highly enough! Exceptional service and support from start to finish (and beyond)!! Highly professional team ensuring premium quality throughout the process (from Simon on initial design, Jamie on fitting, and Nic and Lauren on planning, communication, support and excelling in customer service)!! Quality, design and layout exceptional - (We didn’t purchase our appliances from DKD but they’ve taken every step possible to help resolve issues directly with the manufacturer to ensure the result of a 100% perfect kitchen)! A fantastic family run business – We wouldn’t have received the same level of quality or customer service from the large chains!!

Transformed our kitchen!

The service we received from DKD was exceptional. Mary designed our kitchen-diner knock through and she was so patient when we tried various different designs. That said her experience showed as we reverted back to one of her originals. As the work started Lauren took over and I can honestly say I have never met someone who works harder to please. Nothing is too much trouble and she provided the best customer service I have ever had. Mount Renovations completed the building works and the guys on site were tidy, respectful and frankly fun to have around. Even though the build was completed a couple of month ago they recently returned to sort a couple of snags. Sarah in the office runs a tight ship (I’ve seen the electronic planner) and there was always someone on site working on the renovation. Now the kitchen itself is perfect and nothing was too much trouble for the kitchen fitter Julian. The units are high quality and there is nothing I would change in terms of design/ layout, we just need to add all the finishing touches. We now spend so much time in our beautiful kitchen and I’ve even got the kids baking and washing up. A win all round. Finally, the entire work wasn’t without a few complications, but they were minor and addressed immediately. The sign of a good quality company and I am so pleased we went with DKD (trust me we did our research of the alternatives). Thanks so much to everyone involved.

We have had our DKD kitchen fitted for over a year now and it's great. It looks good and is a lovely room in our home. The design was so carefully thought through by Leah. The kitchen is functional and all elements are in the right place so work together very well and make cooking easy and enjoyable. The kitchen fitter was also brilliant, especially fitting the island so it looks the best it can. Thank you DKD.

Simon designed out kitchen and we are very happy with the result, Lee the kitchen fitter did a wonderful job too, Lauren looked after us also at the last stage of design and fitting, overall we are very happy with the results and we can highly recommend this Company, Thanks so much Anila :-)

DKD have been brilliant every step of the way, from the design of our new kitchen to the completed installation. The quality of their work is second to none, and we are delighted with the results. Every one of the team is professional, great at their job and seem to really care about achieving the best results they can. They are also genuinely lovely to work with. The kitchen is now my favourite room in the house and we really appreciate all the hard work that they put into it. Thank you all!

We received an excellent service from DKD in the planning, visioning and producing of our new kitchen. They make a lot of effort to find out what you require and assist in discussing ideas. Nothing is too small! So much attention to detail. The quality of the goods is very high and the fitting is done to the highest standard. You definitely get the 5 star service from them. We would definitely recommend DKD for an excellent bespoke service and are so happy with our new kitchen.

DKD designed and fitted our kitchen in late august / september. Apologies for the late review. From start to finish the experience of having a new kitchen designed, delivered and fitted by DKD was pleasurable, straight forward and seemless. Their collaboration with the builders mount renovation meant that there was no delays in the process from designing, building and finally fitting the kitchen. Leah who started the process of designing the kitchen with us rather than for us was very kind, funny and highly skilled at her job. No decisions were ever a problem and she clearly worked through all the process decisions at a steady pace for us. She liased with Paul and Sarah to pass on all the details of our kitchen. Paul and his highly professional team made the building process a breeze as we didnt have to chase anyone to turn up. They organised that all for us. Their work was outstanding and they were polite, on time, sociable and fun to work with. Scott and Luke fitted the kitchen, and they continued on the professional process and clearly asked for our decisions when required during the fitting. Pat on the backs to you both for the hard work you did for us. Also cheeky chaps aswell. The builders liased with their recommended decorator Richard who then painted the walls. Nothing too much trouble for him and fitted us in at very short notice. Its a shame he's too busy to do other decorating. Lauren project managed the whole kitchen project and did an amazing job. Thanks for the flowers. Fully fitted the kitchen looks amazing and even better than the cad renders that Leah sent to us after the initial design. We still have to pinch ourselves every morning as the kitchen now is beyond our original expection and it has transformed the house. Jokingly we feel grown up to have a kitchen like this now from an original kitchen that was large but non functional as a kitchen / dinning area. We would recommend DKD 100% to anyone who needs a new kitchen and requires your expertise and professional staff. The same goes for the builders mount renovation, the fitters and Richard the decorator. Great team work. Thanks to all Martin, Denise and Ellie Ps the kittens love finding new hiding spaces in the cupboards now. Lol

We are very pleased with DKD from start to finish. We started looking for kitchen designer and fitter to renovate our kitchen in March 2023. We looked through the options from some chain brands several times but there was something that cannot convince us moving forward. Then in April we tried to see what DKD could help with. Mary was very helpful and patient. After understanding what we were looking for, actual measurements, and several adjustments, she showed the design and illustration which was what we wanted. She also gave some very useful suggestions on choosing kitchen items, i.e. L-shape corner cabinets, which functioned well and matched the look. The quote included the kitchen and fitting but also the breakdown quote of the building work required, which was very clear and helpful (some other brands didn’t give the quote on building works unless order placed). We placed the order and the entire work started in late June 2023 and last for two weeks. First week was the building work and kitchen fitting was in the following week. Throughout the work, DKD had a team (a project manager and building work manager) to communicate with me, discussing ideas and answering my questions. Julian the fitter was very amazing , experienced and helpful. We can see he worked to a high standard that he was pride of. He was also very patient, and willing to explain and answer questions. We knew kitchen renovation could be stressful but we did not feel anything like that. All work was going on smoothly. It’s late October now and after several months using the kitchen, we are very happy about our choice with DKD, the quality of the material, the building work, the fitting and the final look, we are satisfied. Highly recommended DKD!

From start to finish the process of achieving our dream kitchen with DKD was professional and enjoyable. Leah, Lauren & Scott in particular all went above and beyond to ensure we got the exact kitchen we wanted and that everything was perfect. Everyone comments on how beautiful the kitchen is. Thank you DKD for our dream kitchen! Michelle, Mike & Family 💕

Great shop

DKD have been brilliant from start to finish. Mary knew what I wanted before I did. I was starting to move away from my original idea, not because I didn't still love it but because it was a bit different. She encouraged us to go with it and I'm so glad we did. We love it. It looks amazing and the layout (all Mary) is perfect. I can reach everything in one step. There were some delays to the appliances (out of DKDs hands) and Lauren kept us updated regularly. We also had an extension and renovation on 2 floors and Mary arranged for Steve, Paul and the team to do all the renovation work. They have been amazing too. It hasn't been an easy job, things have changed and been added as we have gone along but they have adapted to it all. They are honest with their opinions and lovely to have around (which is a lucky considering how much they are around). They have come up with solutions for every challenge and even managed to get an extra room from a great idea, which took very little extra work. And both the kitchen team and building team worked really well with the architect and designer which made life a lot easier. Definitely recommend!

We are absolutely over the moon with the kitchen that we had designed and installed by DKD. Thank you so much to Leah for designing our dream kitchen. We were lost for words when Leah showed us the design as she had really understood what it was we were looking for. We were very indecisive at times (!) but Leah patiently guided us through the process and was always so helpful and responsive with any queries we had. Jamie did an excellent job fitting the kitchen and really paid attention to detail during the process. Lauren was also so helpful dealing with any queries after the kitchen had been fitted. We are so pleased that we went with DKD for our kitchen and would recommend them 100%.

Dear DKD, Thank you for all your hard work and efforts to create our beautiful kitchen. Leah, your ability to turn a long wish list into a stunning design that works is absolutely astounding. Thank you for the beautiful design and attention to detail whilst adjusting the plans to achieve perfection. Lauren and Mary, thank you for making sure that we got our kitchen delivered and finalised as promised, and all the snagging lists have been ticked off now. Also, a big thank you to Julian. He is a skilled craftsman who is an absolute gem. He listened and payed attention all the way through and went an extra mile to put the kitchen together just the way we wanted it to be. We would definitely recommend you to anyone who’d like to redesign and upgrade their kitchen to make it a beautiful and social place 🥳

A new kitchen is a major investment not only in terms of finance but also in terms of trust. I approached Designer Kitchen Direct after they were recommended to me. I was immediately struck by their knowledge, expertise and professionalism. I am truly delighted with my new kitchen and can definitely say that my trust was not misplaced. The job was finished on time and the skill of the kitchen fitters was remarkable. Of course in a project this size there is bound to be the occasional problem but the team at DKD swung into action immediately in order to solve any issues as soon as possible. A very good job very well done.

We recently instructed DKD to design and fit our new kitchen and utility room and cannot recommend the company highly enough. At the first meeting with Leah, who carried out the designs, she took the time to understand how I cook, how we live as a family, what our priorities were and appreciated our budget. We were blown away by her designs and I knew we didn’t need to look further. We also used DKD’s associated building team for the required work prior to the fit and the two teams worked together seamlessly. It’s also worth mentioning that every person that came on site from the building team to the fitters were a delight to have around and are a credit to the company. A couple of unforeseeable supply chain issues were dealt with professionalism and understanding by Lauren who was so helpful throughout. We couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen, it’s absolutely changed the way we live and looks incredible. This is an example of how a company should be run. Thanks again to everyone.

Outstanding from our first meeting to completion. Designed exactly what we wanted and then were able to carry out all necessary work to enable this to happen. The quality of the units is excellent and were fitted in a timely and professional manner by Julian. The end results are just what we had hoped for. I cannot praise or thank this company enough. Best in the city as far as we are concerned. Thank you.

We are really pleased with our new kitchen/diner designed, built and fitted by DKD. The work involved knocking through a wall, blocking up external and internal doors, fitting a new window, installing a new kitchen plus fitted dinning room furniture. Leah was our first point of contact and she was thoroughly professional and helpful. She took the time to listen to our requirements and came up with a practical and bespoke design. She was very understanding and patient and was always willing to provide additional advice and visuals when we were unsure or changed our minds. She was instrumental in creating our recessed shelf behind the hob and floating chimney breast which we love. The building work was fully costed by Paul with no hidden extras and the whole team of tradespeople were tidy and reliable. The work was carried out to a good standard in a timely manner. Jamie our fitter was organised and efficient and worked hard to resolve any minor issues on site. Lauren, Rebecca and Sarah were great at managing the whole project from the office so we didn't have to and communication with them was clear and effective throughout. Everyone was friendly and professional and seemed to genuinely care about and enjoy the work they were doing. Our only real issue was the supply delay with our Neff oven which was beyond DKDs control. Leah had warned us about the possibility of long delays so it didn't come as a surprise. However, Lauren and Rebecca followed this up and kept us informed and we were all over the moon when the oven was finally installed. We are delighted we took the plunge to create a more spacious and functional kitchen/diner and are very much enjoying cooking, socialising and chilling in our beautiful new space. Thanks very much to all the DKD team for making it happen.

We visited several kitchen companies but Leah at DKD was the only one to fully understand what we were looking for and turn it into a plan. We used DKD's team to carry out building work as well as supplying and fitting the kitchen - new patio doors, tanking, door widening, stud wall, plastering and floor fitting. All fully priced up on quote. Work started on time and the whole team were friendly and professional and the work was first class. Any minor issues were dealt with efficiently and timely with no fuss. The finished kitchen exceeded what we expected. Its only a gally kitchen so had to be practical as well as look good. Leah's plan ensured this was the casel We'd recommend DKD and the team to anyone - Leah, Lauren and Paul were a pleasure to deal with.

Excellent service provided by Richard. He had some really good ideas but didn't force them on us and listened to our needs. Helpful throughout the whole design process. Unfortunately due to personal circumstances we could not proceed with the kitchen fitting but I would not hesitate in recommending DKD if you are looking for a new high quality kitchen.

We are delighted with our new Kitchen Diner. Mary patiently took the extra time to understand our requirements over multiple consultations. Her design made excellent use of the space. The building team took good care of the house. Nic's kitchen installation demonstrated great attention to detail, he is a true professional. The office team are well organised and took the stress out of having to project manage everything. Inevitably there were snags. These were rectified without question, no matter how picky we were.

Mary designed us a fabulous kitchen that functions well, we’ve always had compliments on it and 4 years later the daily enjoyment and appreciation of our kitchen still stands! We’ve since had fitted wardrobes from them and recommended DKD to family who’ve been equally delighted. Mary has a pretty unique ability to understand exactly your tastes and style and she comes up with practical and innovative solutions on the spot that you’d not ever think of. We were fussy customers who changed our minds a lot during the design process and they’d never let us feel bad about it. Nothing we asked was too much hassle. Their builders and kitchen fitters were no trouble either. I couldn’t fault the service we received from DKD and would heartily recommend them if you want great quality at a competitive price.

Fabulous kitchen and service from a truly lovely local company. From start to finish nothing was too much trouble. Everyone from both the kitchen team and the building side were polite and professional and the quality is first rate. I'd wholeheartedly recommend DKD

UPDATE: We are now moving house 2 years after DKD completed our kitchen and an electrical survey has revealed that the electrical work done by DKD was not up to reg or certified and needs to be redone. I would no longer recommend this company to others. *** We began our kitchen in November 2018. The cabinets and counter were installed quickly and they are beautiful. We are very happy with the quality of this work. Some delays and hiccups were experienced before the complete and final product was installed, but ultimately DKD went out of their way to ensure that we ended up with the kitchen we wanted. DKD kitchens are absolutely lovely and great quality. At the end of the day, we would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Friendly and professional.

Leah, Lauren, John and the wider team at DKD worked closely with us on a new utility room design and installation, and we couldn't be happier with the results and process! The building and trades team were all punctual, clean and completed all works in great time and with no hassle - they were all amazing from start to finish. Probably not the biggest job DKD will ever do, but attention to detail and the full service provided was amazing. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Beautiful, functional, quality, bespoke Kitchens. Friendly, helpful staff

At this stage excellent service and honest guidance well worth a visit

We are so pleased with our new kitchen from DKD. It absolutely meets and exceeds our expectations. DKD have produced a beautiful kitchen-living-dining space for us. Not only is it stunningly beautiful it is functionally so well designed, that after six months' living in it, we can't think of anything we'd change. We have to say that going into a significant building project is not for the faint-hearted, but DKD's professional and supportive approach throughout the design, building, and after-sales processes made the experience as painless it could possibly have been. We came to DKD with some rough ideas of what we wanted, and an optimistic budget! DKD took plenty of time to listen to us, and showed us the possibilities available. This really helped us make the best use of our space - with several schemes going through the CAD process to help us get a feel of what the finished design would look like (so accurate that we sometimes still feel like we're living in one of Yappi's CAD drawings!). Having DKD's team carry out both the building work and kitchen installation worked very well for us. It was so much easier to have a single source than having to project-manage and co-ordinate a bunch of separate contractors. It meant that they all worked together, so that nothing was overlooked, and we're sure it helped keep the timescales down, too. It would be impossible in a project of this size, for every aspect to go completely smoothly and according to plan, but whenever necessary, DKD rose to the mark and delivered with a smile. Their commitment to getting everything perfect has been exemplary. Special thanks to Julia (we love the design), Steve (yes, he really will deliver at the price he quotes), Craig (an absolute Yorkshire diamond), Nic (OCD kitchen fitter extraordinaire)and Kevin(just lovely),Kimberly and Lauren (so patient and good humoured),and finally, Kelly and her team at Artisan Stone (breathtaking precision). We would have no hesitation in recommending DKD for your kitchen makeover. If you're wavering, go for it - you're in safe hands!

Great service from start to finish. I would recommend this company to all

Having a new kitchen and a building project is huge! Exciting, stressful and a roller coaster. We have done several but this was the first time we worked with DKD and we would recommend them unreservedly. From start to finish they were a pleasure to work with - highly skilled in terms of design, professionalism and customer care. They listened to our brief, came up with a super design, challenged us helpfully so that we have a kitchen that is a joy. As we were looking for a builder to do the structural alterations, their in house building company worked seamlessly with the design and fitting process so that everything came together on time and on budget. The whole team were a pleasure to work with and have made this an enjoyable process with an outcome that we are delighted with. Huge thanks to Mary, Leah, Lauren, Nick, Steve and his team, and everyone else involved. Highly recommended! Jane and John

Mary was a amazing from start to end and we could not be happier with our kitchen. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. Would definitely recommend them.

I could not be more delighted with our new kitchen! DKD have been so fantastic. Mary and Leah designed the kitchen of my dreams. They really listened to everything we wanted and worked hard to come in on budget, giving us great advice throughout. Every step was smooth, from the first visit right up to installation, which was fast but meticulous. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new kitchen.

Not the worse way to go

Very happy with our kitchen that was completed last year. Mary really helped us improve our design ideas. The quality itself is great and the fitter was a star.

Would like to thank all the team involved from the detailed planning and design stage to completion. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always helpful and courteous throughout the project. We are thrilled with our new, contemporary kitchen and highly recommend their products and service including the skilled and hardworking kitchen fitters.

Professional from start to finish Dkd were amazing brilliant kitchen design fitting and all related services.Nothing was too much trouble we are delighted with our wow factor kitchen and would recommend Dkd to family and friends.

Beautiful kitchens, amazing helpful staff

Really pleased with our new kitchen! Best thing by far about DKD is the time and expertise you get in the kitchen design, the team really take the time to understand what you want and design something that works. I am useless at “design” and its lovely to have someone who i trust to advise. Quality great too and reasonably priced.

Dkd were fantastic and made the whole experience stree free...the quality of the kitchen is amazing and is admired by everyone who sees it ... even the inside cabinets are beautiful...I even got a beautiful bouquet of flowers when it was finished.I would recommend dkd to anyone looking for a wonderfully designed kitchen at a very competetive price..

We shopped around for the right company to design and fit our kitchen and DKD were far and away the best. We had a relatively tricky space to use and DKD managed to give us a very beautiful but also highly functional kitchen. They understand exactly what we needed, but also made it look wonderful. We really enjoyed the design process and were able to add our own touches without upping the cost (which was already extremely competitive). DKD also recommended fantastic builders and decorators to get our works done so there was minimal coordination to do at our end. The fitters themselves were lovely to have around and really took care to get everything right- they even built us a tray store on the day at no extra cost! In summary, we have bern delighted with the whole process and now have a lovely hub to our home. We regularly recommend DKD to friends. Thanks to everyone who made our project such a success.

Excellent service, excellent staff and AMAZING kitchen! My husband and I are so chuffed with our new kitchen/diner. We had 2 walls knocked through, a new wall and door built and a new kitchen installed. We could not be happier with the whole process from start to finish. Everyone at DKD are professional, helpful and genuinely seemed to care about giving us the best results. The builders, plumbers, electricians, kitchen fitters, surveyors and everyone involved were absolutely brilliant and went the extra mile for us. I have never known anything like it! It all seemed to happen so fast too, which was great. Thank you so much to DKD, I would highly recommend using them and an extra thanks to Mary and Steve for overseeing it all. THANK YOU!

Our kitchen was ready for a replacement after the old one had been in for 20 years. We approached Designer Kitchen Direct for a quote and they immediately understood what we wanted and added some ideas of their own. I imagined it would be a stressful process but the opposite was the case. We use their contractors to complete the plastering, tiling, electrical work and fitting and everything was done seamlessly and to a fantastic quality. The kitchen itself is beautifully made and it has made such a difference to our house. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone considering a new kitchen.

The team at Designer Kitchen Direct were really friendly and a pleasure to work with, the designers gave me plenty of options and were very accommodating with my requests. I love my new kitchen and won't hesitate to recommend DKD to anyone wanting to upgrade theirs!
