Reading Bathrooms and Kitchens

Vinnie and Jack renovated my bathroom and ensuite over a two week period. The finish is of a high quality and there are no issues more than a week on after completion, with both rooms in regular use. Both are incredibly hard workers and they sorted out a couple of unexpected items with no fuss. Being someone who pays attention to detail I can tell that they care about what they deliver. Dealing with everyone in the business was straightforward and professional and I would gladly recommend them. --Update (10 months later) After the initial good impressions of the company I’m now disappointed in them. The ensuite bathroom sink supplied by the company has developed a stain ring around the plughole in the last 6 months that is becoming progressively worse. The sink in the main bathroom was fitted during the same refurbishment and doesn’t have the same problem although both are used and cleaned in the same way. The only conclusion can be that the ensuite sink has a defect. Contacted Vince by email to explain this when the stain ring was noticed, sent a photo, he replied the next day, but then nothing. Followed up 2 weeks later, no reply. Contacted him directly by phoning him on two separate occasions to schedule visits to look at the staining, no shows on both. Tried phoning him again several days later, phone rang but wasn’t picked up on the two attempts I made. This took place over the course of at least 6 weeks, so I concluded that he just wasn’t interested in addressing the problem. What’s worse is that over the course of the refurbishment I was continually told “any problems let us know”. The one year guarantee doesn’t seem to be worth the paper it’s written on.

From start to finish it was an easy, pleasant and altogether excellent experience dealing with Reading Bathrooms. They were always helpful, pleasant and polite, turned up on time and their work was of a very high standard. I am delighted with the end result.

Really pleased with the quality of work for my bathroom refit. Friendly family firm. Jack was aligned to my job and it wasn't a straightforward one but Jack overcame every hurdle thrown at him. I feel this firm went above and beyond in some cases, such as rebuilding my wonky walls in an old cottage to ensure the final aesthetics looked 5*. I would highly recommend them, in fact I'm already planning my next project in my utility and wouldn't hesitate to reach out to them again!

We had Vince and Vinnie refit our bathroom. It was a big job as they stripped the room back to brick and did a complete redesign. From the first visit nothing was too much trouble. The design was tweaked until it was exactly what we wanted and the actual work itself was excellent. Vince and Vinnie worked really hard to get it finished for us in the timeframe quoted, they were respectful of our property and cleaned up each night. They are friendly guys and I would certainly recommend them, I love my new bathroom.

Vince and his 2 sons replaced my bath with walk in shower. They have done a fantastic job and have already recommended them to colleagues and friends. So pleased as they totally cleaned up and left it spotless.

After a friendly initial phone call, the surveyor never showed. I phoned to ask why and it was a genuine mistake - fair enough. But due to timings I politely declined their services, vince turned very rude and unprofessional telling me 'ok whatever tada' and hanging up. Will not be recommending this company to anyone else.

We recently decided to update our old bathroom so we started to look around for the perfect bathroom designers. We called many traders and one of our calls was to Reading Bathrooms & Kitchens Ltd. We talked to one of their designers and got friendly and sensible advice from the outset. We felt comfortable enough to have them come out to our home for a free quote and within a few weeks we got our perfect new bathroom. We are happy to recommend them.
