Need help finishing Kitchen installation - Howdens Just hire Phil...we wish we had found him sooner! Phil was our saviour and he took all our stress away. He is Professional, kind, works quickly, and has all the right tools ...He is happy to discuss particulars and has a good attention to detail. He prices the job fairly, arrives on time, and works a full day. He completed our kitchen job to a high standard in 3 days as quoted, including installing worktops & upstands, integrated dishwasher, cupboard drawers & baskets; building & installing wall hung shelving unit, and tiling cooker splash-back. Phil cut & installed all the cornices/skirting/architraves...and cut under sink shelving to go around pipework (providing extra storage). Phil gave our kitchen a beautiful professional finish. He is a breath of fresh air. After 2 1/2 months of struggling with another builder fitting a Howdens kitchen (extremely slow, friend of the family) ... we called Phil and he came round the next day after work to look at what needed doing and quote. Phil spent a good hour with me, discussing the job and how to finish problematic work top areas (in some places the counter depth was deeper than worktops, so he created a built-in box shelf at the back .... and all the window sills were lower than the worktops .. so we created a waterfall effect.) These are now both some of our favourite features. Phil was a pleasure to work with, he listened to what we wanted and gave us his advice. Completed all tasks to a high standard. Install new kitchen We recently moved into a new house that needed a completely new kitchen as well as a radiator moving to another wall. We contacted Phil based on his previous positive reviews. He visited the flat to go through our requirements and take measurements and was incredibly friendly and professional throughout, offering some good advice on some design aspects too. Based on this we booked him for the job which he estimated would take about 2 weeks which it did. He was very tidy and polite at all times and the finish achieved was excellent. As an experienced fitter he set aside the extra bits that the B&Q staff added to the order that were either surplus to requirement or completely unnecessary which we were able to get refunded. He went above and beyond to help us out and I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone considering getting any work done! 10/10

Completely refurbish kitchen I have no hesitation in recommending Phil Drew who demolished our old and expertly fitted a complete new kitchen in a cramped and awkward shaped room with inconvenient access. Refurbish 1st Floor of Home, Install 2 new En-Suites We hired TMB to redecorate and rewire 3 bedrooms and a landing and to install 2 new en-suite bathrooms. Unfortunately, it appears as though TMB were not experienced in a project of this size. We agreed a start date and a time frame of 6 weeks to complete the work. Initial impressions of TMB were very good. There was good communication and they even set up a WhatsApp group to help with the day to day running of things. However, right from the outset TMB began to fall behind with almost no progress during the first week. TMB subcontracted out much of the work to other contractors. During the course of the works, they kicked both their plumber and tiler off the job. As the mistakes on the job began to mount up, TMB appeared less and less on site and became harder to get hold of. On 3 separate occasions they provided me with a revised schedule of works to complete the job, but this was never adhered to. When nobody showed up during weeks 15 and 16, enough was enough and I terminated our agreement. I have been left living on a building site with none of the rooms finished, the en-suites unusable and thousands of pounds out of pocket to put right the mistakes and poor workmanship of TMB and to finish the job. To date, I have been unable to get TMB to return my house key or collect their tools despite emails, whatsapp messages and voicemails. I would have no hesitation in advising people to steer clear from using TMB based on my experience.

Replacement of storage heaters for electric heaters Phil & Trevor were great when I needed my old storage heaters disconnected and new electric heaters installed. They were punctual, friendly and were very reasonable with what they charged. They understood that I needed my old heaters removed, my flat painted and only then the new heaters could be installed - they were accommodating and understanding that they would need to return to finish the job, something that I didn't get from other electricians I had spoken to. He arrived on time to give a quote, assessed the job quickly and noticed things that other electricians had missed. On the day of the job he again arrived on time and brought two of his team with him. Trevor and his team did a marvellous job of changing the electrics board, finding the bonding to water/gas and also installing 6 new spotlights. I asked Trevor to quote to investigate a problem with the underfloor heating. Instead of the job becoming a very expensive one he was able to fix it at the same time. Bedroom lighting Phil had to postpone the original appointment by 24 hours, due to van problems. He turned up punctually to the second appointment at 7.15am which conveniently enabled my working day to remain unaffected. It was a simple loose wire problem which he fixed but still charged the full £70. Our current electrician has had to return to Poland very suddenly and has left us in limbo somewhat! We are currently renovating and extending a small three bedroom house in Streatham. The overall design is original and there is attention to detail. The first fix wiring has been completed already and we are now ready to 2nd fix. The overall quality of the wiring is very good and we have drawings to show exact positions of down lighters wall lights pendants etc. We are looking for someone who is comfortable trouble shooting and picking up his work. We generally carry out our works to a very high standard and all our trades work together to achieve that end result. In terms of work there is probably at least a good weeks work and in exchange we can offer some excellent rates of pay for the right person. We understand its not an ideal scenario but if you like a challenge and enjoy the satisfaction of completing good work please do get in touch! TMB came in at very short notice and performed an excellent job for us. They turned up when they said they would and were very reasonable in their pricing. They were knowledgeable and very helpful and were prepared to go the extra mile. No hesitation in recommending.
