He looked at our kitchen units which hadn’t been properly installed and he worked out how to fix them to get them to sit right. New small to medium kitchen installation My first ever review of a tradesman! Definitely made the right choice to hire Phil. He was very detailed, organised, professional, and most importantly, highly competent. Refused to cut corners even when it meant extra work for him and he never made any unreasonable price hikes even when the scope creeped a bit. What’s more, the whole family enjoyed having him around and he really made what could have been a stressful period enjoyable. Can’t wait for him to come back and do some more work for us! I know I’m hard to please but this is definitely my best builder experience yet. Thanks again Phil!

Need help finishing Kitchen installation - Howdens Just hire Phil...we wish we had found him sooner! Phil was our saviour and he took all our stress away. He is Professional, kind, works quickly, and has all the right tools ...He is happy to discuss particulars and has a good attention to detail. He prices the job fairly, arrives on time, and works a full day. He completed our kitchen job to a high standard in 3 days as quoted, including installing worktops & upstands, integrated dishwasher, cupboard drawers & baskets; building & installing wall hung shelving unit, and tiling cooker splash-back. Phil cut & installed all the cornices/skirting/architraves...and cut under sink shelving to go around pipework (providing extra storage). Phil gave our kitchen a beautiful professional finish. He is a breath of fresh air. After 2 1/2 months of struggling with another builder fitting a Howdens kitchen (extremely slow, friend of the family) ... we called Phil and he came round the next day after work to look at what needed doing and quote. Phil spent a good hour with me, discussing the job and how to finish problematic work top areas (in some places the counter depth was deeper than worktops, so he created a built-in box shelf at the back .... and all the window sills were lower than the worktops .. so we created a waterfall effect.) These are now both some of our favourite features. Phil was a pleasure to work with, he listened to what we wanted and gave us his advice. Completed all tasks to a high standard. I would use him again.

Kitchen worktop replacement Had new Kitchen worktops fitted. Very happy with the work. Friendly and efficient.

Install new kitchen and tiles Phil was very diligent, punctual, extremely organised and tidy - the flat was always left in a good condition after a days work. I would recommend Phil to others looking to have a new kitchen fitted.

Install new kitchen We recently moved into a new house that needed a completely new kitchen as well as a radiator moving to another wall. We contacted Phil based on his previous positive reviews. He visited the flat to go through our requirements and take measurements and was incredibly friendly and professional throughout, offering some good advice on some design aspects too. Based on this we booked him for the job which he estimated would take about 2 weeks which it did. He was very tidy and polite at all times and the finish achieved was excellent. As an experienced fitter he set aside the extra bits that the B&Q staff added to the order that were either surplus to requirement or completely unnecessary which we were able to get refunded. He went above and beyond to help us out and I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone considering getting any work done! 10/10

Install new kitchen We were very happy with Phil as our builder. He knocked through a wall between the lounge and kitchen. He fitted a new kitchen for us and he did a great job. He was a pleasure to have in the house and would certainly recommend him.

New kitchen island with electrics and replace worktops Phil took time before the job to really understand what we wanted and the end result we were going for. He comes across as genuinely interested and asked lots of questions. During the work he was thorough and everything was finished to a high standard but was also accommodating of changes as they arose - nothing was too much trouble even my annoying questioning of whether things were straight and level - which they were of course. I will have no hesitation in using Phil again.

Cupboards putting up in kitchen Job : Fitting cupboards in my kitchen. Absolutely delighted with the work Phil did for me. He arrived on time to give an estimate and it was clear that he certainly knew his stuff. His estimate of two days was accurate, he wasted no time at all and nothing phased him. I was consulted for areas that needed decisions and he also gave advice, from his vast experience, when I was not sure. As well as being a superb ‘kitchen fitter’ with a keen eye for detail, he is very personable. His aim was to give me a well fitted kitchen and he did just that. He is already booked in to come back to do some more work for me. I cannot recommendation him highly enough. Thank you Phil.

Completely refurbish kitchen I have no hesitation in recommending Phil Drew who demolished our old and expertly fitted a complete new kitchen in a cramped and awkward shaped room with inconvenient access. His initial advice and subsequent suggestions were invaluable as were his skills in areas of plumbing, electrics, carpentry and of course kitchen fitting. He ensured we were never left long without power, water or cooking facility (loan of induction hob great help )He treated the site with respect leaving it clean each evening, kept to schedule (no fitting in other jobs etc) and strictly within terms of agreed contract. All with cheerful good humour! Thank you

As I live in a converted Victorian school access to my property caused some difficulty. Phil coped with the issues without complaint and managed to get a 4m worktop up a narrow staircase with several bends, a truly amazing feat. Works to extractor fans and tap Phil sourced and fitted 2 new extractor fans to our bathrooms, and carried out some associated plumbing and electrical work. The work was done to a good standard, and he was quick to come back to attend to any snagging items.

Refurbish 1st Floor of Home, Install 2 new En-Suites We hired TMB to redecorate and rewire 3 bedrooms and a landing and to install 2 new en-suite bathrooms. Unfortunately, it appears as though TMB were not experienced in a project of this size. We agreed a start date and a time frame of 6 weeks to complete the work. Initial impressions of TMB were very good. There was good communication and they even set up a WhatsApp group to help with the day to day running of things. However, right from the outset TMB began to fall behind with almost no progress during the first week. TMB subcontracted out much of the work to other contractors. During the course of the works, they kicked both their plumber and tiler off the job. As the mistakes on the job began to mount up, TMB appeared less and less on site and became harder to get hold of. On 3 separate occasions they provided me with a revised schedule of works to complete the job, but this was never adhered to. When nobody showed up during weeks 15 and 16, enough was enough and I terminated our agreement. I have been left living on a building site with none of the rooms finished, the en-suites unusable and thousands of pounds out of pocket to put right the mistakes and poor workmanship of TMB and to finish the job. To date, I have been unable to get TMB to return my house key or collect their tools despite emails, whatsapp messages and voicemails. I would have no hesitation in advising people to steer clear from using TMB based on my experience.

Urgently need a team to fit a Wren kitchen before Xmas! Phil and the team were excellent - the project itself was an utter nightmare due to Wren delivering incorrect items, faulty design and just general bad luck - but the team were so detail orientated and managed to come up with solutions for everything - making what would have been an absolute nightmare much, MUCH easier. Trevor initially came round to discuss the initial requirements and was very patient and informative in discussing my ideas. On the day of the work, Trevor, Phil and James showed up at the agreed time and carried out the work quickly and to a very high standard cleaning up afterwards. I would not hesitate to recommend TMB to family/ friends in the local area and would be happy to use their services again.

Replacement of storage heaters for electric heaters Phil & Trevor were great when I needed my old storage heaters disconnected and new electric heaters installed. They were punctual, friendly and were very reasonable with what they charged. They understood that I needed my old heaters removed, my flat painted and only then the new heaters could be installed - they were accommodating and understanding that they would need to return to finish the job, something that I didn't get from other electricians I had spoken to. I will definitely be calling them when I am next in need of an electrician.

Various including test and new board Good value work done by a lovely guy called Trevor. He arrived on time to give a quote, assessed the job quickly and noticed things that other electricians had missed. On the day of the job he again arrived on time and brought two of his team with him. Trevor and his team did a marvellous job of changing the electrics board, finding the bonding to water/gas and also installing 6 new spotlights. I asked Trevor to quote to investigate a problem with the underfloor heating. Instead of the job becoming a very expensive one he was able to fix it at the same time. I found him to be trustworthy, pleasant and non salesy. I'm hoping to get him back round to get some garden lights put in. Excellent job, thank you.

Bedroom lighting Phil had to postpone the original appointment by 24 hours, due to van problems. He turned up punctually to the second appointment at 7.15am which conveniently enabled my working day to remain unaffected. It was a simple loose wire problem which he fixed but still charged the full £70. He was polite, helpful and respectful of my property, giving detailed explanations in connection with that job and potential other jobs.

They were keen to ensure we were happy with everything all along the way. Am delighted with the work done. Highly recommend and would definitely use their services again.

Our current electrician has had to return to Poland very suddenly and has left us in limbo somewhat! We are currently renovating and extending a small three bedroom house in Streatham. The overall design is original and there is attention to detail. The first fix wiring has been completed already and we are now ready to 2nd fix. The overall quality of the wiring is very good and we have drawings to show exact positions of down lighters wall lights pendants etc. We are looking for someone who is comfortable trouble shooting and picking up his work. We generally carry out our works to a very high standard and all our trades work together to achieve that end result. In terms of work there is probably at least a good weeks work and in exchange we can offer some excellent rates of pay for the right person. We understand its not an ideal scenario but if you like a challenge and enjoy the satisfaction of completing good work please do get in touch! TMB came in at very short notice and performed an excellent job for us. They turned up when they said they would and were very reasonable in their pricing. They were knowledgeable and very helpful and were prepared to go the extra mile. No hesitation in recommending.

Kitchen Jobs Excellent. Trevor and his mate came round and fixed our kitchen lights and solved a bigger problem with our house electrics. Him and his team did a brilliant job replacing all 22 of my spotlights quickly and cleanly and everything now works perfectly. I would highly recommend Trevor and TMB Electrics to anyone and would definitely call on them in the future.

Repairs/replacement of bathroom and kitchen lights - Efficient and arrived on time, both for quoting the job and to undertake the work itself. Cleaned up after and I was very pleased that the job came in at at the lower end of what was quoted, which shows this business is also honest. Full explanation of what was being undertaken and any deviations needed and why needed, along with advise on future projects - I would highly recommend to other customers.

Boiler circuit I have nothing but positive comments to leave; Trevor responded really quickly, spent time understanding the problem, gave me a great quote and returned the next day to do the work which was completed to a high standard.
