Tom did a fantastic job on our kitchen very professional first class workmanship great attention to detail thank you Tom top class job highly recommended Thank you Tom Doug and ginny Nicholls

Tom is the perfect example of where one should trust the expert. Our kitchen, now 12 years old has a large expanse of oak block work surfaces. Originally supplied with a shiny finish we had not maintained it properly over the years and the shine had worn off in many places. Various stains and water ingress were making it look shabby. Tom recommended we refurbished it with a matt finish, for durability and long-term wear. We were unsure at first but, now that we have been using the kitchen with its new look for several weeks, we are convinced that Tom was right. Further, he managed to remove the stains and repair the water damage. Highly recommended. FOLLOW UP: It is now one year since Tom refurbished our oak block work surfaces and, despite normal usage every day, they still look as good as new! I'm glad we took his advice.

Tom is a conscientious artisan who together with the team work efficiently on a project. There were a few hiccups ie appliances not fitting but these were resolved within 24 hours and I am very pleased with my new kitchen.

Tom installed our new kitchen and made the process as stress-free as possible! He organised everything, and was honest, up-front, hard-working and completely trustworthy. We cannot recommend him enough!

I have no hesitation in recommending Tom. His work is of the highest standard, he is prompt efficient and exceptionally tidy. Just as important he is an absolute pleasure to have around. Tom's pricing is very fair, and even when extra jobs were added he was very accommodating and extremely fair with the extra charges given the time and materials it took. One of those professional trades people you will be delighted to have employed and will recommend again and again.

Tom at TLJ Kitchens promised to work with us to install the kitchen we wanted. Reality is very different 1. Does not know how to install dishwasher doors and plinths (see pics) and other basic kitchen elements 2. Installed shelving so it wasn't usable (see pics) 3. Failed to supply tradesmen included in the quote (electrician and painter after the work finished) 4. Went on holiday (which he didnt tell us about before starting the job) for 10 days in the middle of a 5 day installation 5. Walked off the job without finishing 6. Demanded payment for unfinished job, despite project costing me more to finish than original quote

Tom was amazing my Kitchen makeover exceeded my expectations he arranged for a new plug to be fitted and a plumber for the kitchen sink nothing was to much trouble for him

Tom was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He responded to our questions promptly and turned up when he said he would. Tom explained everything clearly to us and came up with solutions when there were minor issues with plumbing in our new kitchen sink and dishwasher, and reconfiguring the position of our washing machine. Tom worked with CS Plumbing & Heating on our project and they were great too. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tom.

We have just used Tom from TJL Kitchens to complete our kitchen makeover. Tom advised us on new worktops, splashbacks and a sink and recommended we use his local branch of Howdens to supply the products. The products were good quality, and Tom fitted them with the expertise and care of a true craftsman, and he liaised with the electrician and plumber to ensure that they completed their works in line with his. Overall, we are delighted with the quality of the work and Tom’s approach and would highly recommend him.

We can't recommend Tom enough. He was very diligent in trying to minimise disruption to us, and gave some excellent recommendations on general layout/design of our new kitchen, and on specific units that we could incorporate. He had some concerns about the existing plumbing and arranged for specialists to come and take a look at the issue, while being 100% transparent about additional costs and time involved. After finishing, he even gave us more tips about how we could further spruce up the new kitchen. Hes a pleasant guy to have in your home, and its clear he genuinely enjoys his work.
