First time boiler service. Very impressed: easy to book, easy to reschedule, engineer prompt and friendly, checklist invaluable, reminder for next year very welcome. £75 most reasonable.

Really good experience with these guys. Great communications, courteous and efficient engineer and the bill didn't break the bank either. A good job conducted and priced well. Brilliant. Will definitely use again.

Review 2 July 2026.My Energy Pro recently fixed an external gas pipe that was damaged accidentally and blocked off by the Gas Networks emergency team. On Friday I contacted George and within a few hours Alex arrived to examine the situation which was complicated by the pipe being encased by the roots of a removed ivy plant. He explained what was needed to complete the repair. And asked whether I would be able to clear roots from the pipe over the weekend, which I could, and he would return on Monday at 8 o'clock. This he did and proceeded to effect the repair continuing to keep me fully informed of what he was doing. Throughout he was a very polite young man who gave me great confidence. I had not enquired as to what the cost of sorting this out as it needed doing to enable restoring the hot water and was really pleased when I received a very reasonable bill for the work undertaken. Absolutely delighted customer. Thank you. Review 1 August 2025: Great service and communication from George. He was very polite and pleasant to discuss matters with, then kept us very well informed on the situation. We would have no hesitation in approaching again for any future needs.

George was (is) the finest human being that has ever provided life-giving heat. Our lazy builder had entombed our old broken boiler behind a sarcophagus of wood and plasterboard. No problem for George! He would have done the washing up too had there been any, except there was none, because George didn't even dirty a mug for fear of causing an inconvenience. 10 out of 10! We are very happy with the work Alex carried out yesterday. He had quite a few problems trying to get our old boiler out and sorting all the pipes which were in the wrong place. He worked for 10 hours non-stop with no breaks. He was very polite and tidied up when he finished. He explained how to use the boiler and the little hand held box. He must have been exhausted when he finished last night. He deserves a bonus for his hard work. Thank you for installing our new boiler.

They have an easy to use booking system to choose a day and time to suit the customer too. I can’t recommend highly enough 🙂

Fantastic service from George who fixed a problem with our hot water system. It wasn't an emergency but he still arrived in 30 minutes and quickly diagnosed the fault. A replacement part was ordered and fitted first thing the next day. Excellent communication and professional service throughout. Updated January 2026. Boiler Safe have just replaced our old boiler with a new model. Alex and George did a great job with a reliable, professional and friendly 5 star service.

Amazing company from the reception staff to the engineers. As first time homeowners boiler care and servicing is so important, and I’m so happy these guys are who we picked. The last owner sent us the details, and even at our first service the engineer remembered fitting the boiler for the previous owners! They give you exact time slots, none of this between 9-5 rubbish that keeps you in the house on those precious days off. You get real time updates letting you know an estimate (although it’s been spot on everytime) when the engineer will knock. We pay for our service once a year as we need it, no pressure to sign up for service plans and all the bells and whistles that go with it. Cant recommend george enough, lovely guy, super professional and you can tell he really cares about what he does!

I chose to call Boiler Safe because of all the good reviews so I’m happy to be writing one myself. George was available the next day and explained well what the problem was and how much a repair would be compared to a new boiler. Given that our boiler was 22 years old we opted for the new one and it was fitted 5 days later. George and his assistant were polite, did a thorough job and cleaned up very well afterwards. I also liked how clear all the communication and the quotes were. I will happily use Boiler Safe for future boiler servicing.

He is very clear on what needs doing and how urgent any repairs are and good at giving prices as a guideline to what any future costs might be. He uses good online systems to book appointments and keep you posted on when he’ll be arriving. All in all, excellent service.

Called to cancel my service and SURPRISE! I found out there was a cancelation fee attached, despite not being informed when making the initial booking, and informing them that I may be canceling due to the cost of their service. The fact that there is a fee doesn't bother me, it's that they didn't bother to tell me about it until I tried to cancel. Not cool practice, you guys. Not cool.

I waited for a while to write this review because I believe good quality work withstands the test of time! My Worcestershire Bosch boiler broke down (kept shutting itself off with an error message) last November. I called Boiler Safe and was able to get an appointment 9 days out - it was busy time for gas engineers! We were happy that we waited though, as we preferred someone with experiences with this specific boiler. George was very professional and knowledgeable. He fixed what caused the error message, and updated a problematic part that apparently was common with this specific model. I didn't have to wait further as he already had the part in his van. The final charge was as quoted with additional costs for the part. The boiler has been in good working order since. I will definitely recommend George from Boiler Safe, especially if you have a Worcestershire Bosch boiler.

He did this, set up my warranty and registration with them as my new build developer hadn't and then returned to complete the service once the Worcester Bosch Engineer had been to replace the PCB. I used Boiler Safe for the first time this year as my previous Gas Safe engineer of over 35yrs is no longer with us. I booked him for my own house and 2 sons homes, He gave us planned appointments on the same day one after the other, spaced for the time Gearge expected to complete the work. His timing was perfect. He serviced 3 central heating boilers, 3 x gas fires, a gas hob, and a Gas Safety Certificate for one of the sons. All the work was done very professionally, any extra costs were explained before completion, and he left the houses as clean as he found them. He uses the latest technology and before he left each property I had the receipts , photographs, and a check list of the work he carried out. George has done two fairly big jobs on our house. We had serious problems with the hot water system and the central heating, stemming from an obsolete central heating pipe system with inadequate radiators and a historic bodged bathroom water system. George analysed the causes and his work has resulted in a warm house that heats up quickly and a water system that supplies hot water promptly without wasting large amounts of water. This was not cheap, but he uses quality parts and equipment to achieve the desired result. The disruption to the house was minimal because he is very efficient and competent. He does the job as agreed, removes waste and leaves the house clean and habitable. Highly recommended

George is lovely guy, very professional and goes above and beyond with his work. He came out pronto when we had a leak, removed a back boiler within the ground floor chimney breast and installed a new boiler in the attic. Timescale to do the work was great and prices very reasonable. I would agree with previous comments that he's honest and reliable, we wouldn't go anywhere else for anything boiler related.

Our installer, George, gave us a great service a few days ago - he always kept us in touch and we were informed about his progress and the choices to be made. He handled a couple of unforeseen problems quite cleverly - diverting the old waste pipe and including a hot tap on an old sink next to the boiler and increased the water flow. All cleaned up, tested and working perfectly. Excellent!

The low pressure was placing an undue strain on the (new) boiler and would have considerably shortened its life. George reported the problem to the gas board and ensured they came out on the same day to repair the problem. The guys from Boiler Safe came out to look at my boiler when it stopped providing hot water. They came out the next day and fixed it but unfortunately it broke down again the next day as the boiler needed replacing. They quickly provided a competitive quote and gave their advise on the pro's and con's of the various boilers and systems available. We settled on a new boiler and the guys were back two days later to fit it. All works were complete in a day and the guys were very professional. Works all completed to a good standard and they have since checked in to make sure all is well.

With my boiler on the way out, I was looking for quotations for a replacement. Unlike some who were happy to quote from pictures, George arranged to pop by and see the installation - good job, because I needed more than a like-for-like boiler replacement! From the very start, George was polite, friendly and professional - and the communication throughout was excellent. He sent a range of quotations and I felt very comfortable going with Boiler Safe. The work was booked in very quickly, George and his apprentice Robbie (also very polite) turned up promptly on the day and completed a tricky job (replacing pipework awkwardly behind kitchen cupboards, arranging a cherry picker to install a new flue at height) much quicker than I expected. All this for a very reasonable price - and even adjusted down when an element of the job wasn't necessary. I would thoroughly recommend Boiler Safe - excellent service from start to finish.

With my boiler destroyed through a gutter leak into the flue outlet, I had to get a new boiler. I phoned around all the big national suppliers and was faced with a week long wait in Dec to get heat and hot water. I contacted New boiler company and George came out in under 2 hours to look at the old one and propose a new one that would fit in the cupboard space. He came back with a very competitive quote and the news he could fit in 2 days. George arrived as promised and fitted the boiler demonstrated all the features and tidied up before leaving with the old boiler for disposal. He came back a few days later to quickly check up on it - all running fine. Faultless service.
