We recently used Finbra Ltd to service our Air Source Heat Pump and were extremely impressed by the professionalism and quality of service throughout. The work was carried out effectively, efficiently, and to a very high standard, including all follow-up maintenance. Everything was completed on time and at a reasonable cost. The main plumbing engineer, Jake, was personable, highly professional, and exceptionally knowledgeable about Air Source Heat Pumps. His expertise and attention to detail inspired complete confidence from the outset. He was ably supported by Marcus, who also worked diligently and professionally throughout. We would also like to commend Rhian in the Finbra office, who coordinated the booking, follow-up, and invoicing process superbly. Her communication was excellent at every stage, and she was consistently helpful, organised, and professional. We are immensely grateful to the entire Finbra team for their outstanding service and have already arranged for them to carry out our regular annual servicing going forward.

My experience with Finbra is very positive. They’ve installed a new boiler and more recently remodelled three bathrooms. Jake is extremely skilled , attentive to detail as well as helpful when it comes to design. Communication with Finbra is easy thanks to Rhian in the office. She is efficient and a great support keeping everything working smoothly between the team, suppliers and the client. I rate Finbra very highly.

Jake removed an old partially built-in toilet cistern and associated boxing, reinstated a false wall to hide a new concealed cistern, tiled it, and topped it with a natural wood shelf. He did an excellent job and was a pleasure to deal with, as was Rhian, who was our regular contact with the firm.

Alex and Dan just completed annual service on our oil boiler. Very efficient, very tidy. Excellent service all round, would recommend.

An excellent company. They fitted a new ASHP system to our 400-year-old listed cottage — not an easy task. The team approached the job with can-do attitude, unlike some contractors that shied away from the challenges our unique property presented. The after-sales support has been friendly, responsive, and prompt, which is vital for this kind of work. Too many contractors will take your money and disappear, but with Finbra they’ve got your back after the installation too. Recommended.

Finbra fitted a new shower pump for me. They were very responsive via email. Their plumber turned up on time with the correct parts. It is so much easier dealing with a company that has someone in the office during the day and not just out on site.

We have used Jason for all our plumbing work for over 15 years. He has always done a first class job of both installation (Oil fired boiler, radiators and pressurised hot water cylinder) at a previous address and annual boiler services. On the very rare occaision when we had a problem, he reacted with speed and efficiency to get it sorted. Most recently, at our existing address we decided to move away from oil fired central heating in favour of the installation of an Air source heat pump with associated hot water tank. Jason planned the whole operaration including organising all the government green grant paybacks and he and his team executed the work very efficiently. He and his team continue to efficiently service the heat pump annually and always react speedily if ever I have the occaisional plumbing problem. I would recommend him and his business to everyone who reads this post. He is also a great bloke.

Brilliant team of engineers

Serviced my combi boiler and sorted out some radiators which weren't heating that well. Arrived on time, were clean and professional and kept me in the loop as to what was needed. An excellent service and would recommend and certainly use again.

Jason Finbra of Finbra Ltd left us without heat and hot water for an entire year, causing us significant financial and emotional distress. He owes us thousands of pounds. And we've spent thousands more on remedial works due to his negligence and poor workmanship, which left our home devalued and in disarray. Finbra Ltd was contracted to install an air source heat pump at our home in November 2022, along with an underfloor heating system personally recommended by Jason Finbra. He assured us that this system would work efficiently in our home, and was the best heating option with the new air source heat pump. The entire project was expected to be completed in two weeks. Despite Jason's promise to personally install the air source heat pump, he was on-site for no more than an hour, leaving an inexperienced apprentice to carry out the installation — later revealed to be their first attempt at installing such a system. The underfloor heating was haphazardly installed, resulting in our front and back doors being unable to open once the top level of flooring was relaid due to inadequate door clearance — an amateur mistake on Finbra Ltd’s part and a result of improper planning by Jason. The Air Source Heat Pump was wrongly placed by Finbra Ltd in front of a fence, restricting airflow and causing it to cost us £1,000 per month to run without emitting any heat into our home. Furthermore, Finbra failed to install the upstairs radiators we paid towards and remove the old oil tank included in the scope of works. Despite the ongoing problems, we tried to work with Jason to rectify the issues, but didn't hear from him from one week to the next, apart from his demands for further payment. As a consequence of these issues, our house became cold and damp, with mold forming around windows and ceilings. The electrics of the Air Source Heat Pump later blew and had to be switched off entirely for safety reasons. This was a £26,000 project! Jason currently owes us thousands for an underfloor heating system improperly installed, that never functioned correctly or emitted any heat into our home and radiators we paid towards that he failed to fit, and the remedial carpentry works we had to undertake due to problems caused by his company’s work. Jason failed to address these issues, he failed to provide any meaningful assistance and walked away from the situation. Subsequently, we've incurred further additional costs amounting to thousands of pounds to rectify the issues with the Air Source Heat Pump installed by Finbra Ltd, underfloor heating and radiators. By far the worst company we've ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

Toby came to fix a problem with a leaking pipe within the ceiling. Very punctual, sourced the problem and resolved the issue quickly. Also gave excellent advice on a new bathroom layout and options. Very professional and knowledgeable. A credit to the company

A lovely company to deal with from start to finish! Would absolutely recommend.

I wanted an outside garden tap fitted and Finbra could do this for me the following day! They sent Kieron, who is very pleasant, polite and professional. (I like the fact he introduced himself and shook my hand when he arrived). He also looked at, and advised on a couple of other plumbing repairs that I needed doing, (shower mixer taps, and leaky kitchen tap) and will be returning to repair/replace those. I use Finbra for my boiler and air-source heat pump servicing also, and can highly recommend them.

I cannot speak highly enough of Finbra - my heating broke down between Christmas and New Year, and I was very cold. Unable to get my usual plumber, I phoned Finbra on my daughter's recommendation - I hadn't used them before. Jason came out that afternoon. He diagnosed the problem within 3 minutes (faulty valve in an upstairs cupboard), and ordered the part. The next working day Alex came and fitted the new valve and did a full, and very thorough service of the boiler. Both very nice and polite gentlemen. This company is the worse I have ever dealt with. Took out our boiler in July stating that they would start installation of the ground source heat pump in September. We were assured that it would be finished before Jason moved into his new home in October half term. Currently we still have no hot water or heating. It is freezing here. They have just left us without any heating whilst carrying on doing their normal servicing of boilers etc. The parts all turned up at our house on the 3rd October butJason was not here to sign for them. The guy waited 3 hours for Jason to arrive in the end he had to go taking the pump and pipework with him.He bought it back a week later but it just sat on our drive. There was no hurry on Jasons part to get it installed. The digger man and Zak a young boy has done most of the installation. Jason has dropped in occasionally but has never been here a full day! Jason is full of promises ....he has had over 50,000 from us to date and as already stated we are without heating and hot water.The weather forecast is now for artic winds with possible snow. They are not here again this morning Monday 5th December despite saying they would be. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Dr and Mrs Hellendoorn

Asked them to provide and install new kitchen sink and outside tap, the admin staff were excellent and made all the arrangements necessary. The plumber, Alex, arrived on time and was friendly and professional. All the work was completed quickly and to a high standard.

Boiler service booked for 8am today but engineer did not arrive. When I telephoned I was informed they had made a mistake and double booked and would therefore not be attending my property today. They had not afforded me the courtesy of letting me know. Appalling customer service! AVOID!

Such a disorganised and amateur company that has left me without heating going into the winter and around £10k of additional costs to put their work right. From the start we had either straight out of college young plumbers given no direction by Jason Finbra the owner, or incompetents that shouldn’t even be working in the industry. We had to redo most of the first fix pipe work after plastering as all installed wrongly for the second fix sanitary ware and redo plastering etc at additional cost. After second fix all the fittings didn’t fit due to their installation methods and fittings they provided. As such either leaked water or didn’t seal properly and let the toilet smells back in the room. Communication was more than poor from the start with no work schedules for the guys on site, no notes taken at the various snagging meetings. Didn’t turn up when told they would. And to cap it all he ordered the wrong heat exchanger and then asked me to pay for it twice!!! As other wise he would have to get a personal loan to by me the correct one! Do not venture near this company if you want anything resembling a professional job.
