Not local to me but worth the wait to see Matt. Although competent in all things heat pump related, he was still happy to learn from the Samsung experts. They sorted out a simple and pragmatic solution to the problem of getting the heat pump to work in reverse. The kitchen was 10 degrees cooler than the 35c heatwave, making it bearable to work and rest. Thank you Matt

My ancient boiler failed spectacularly on 29.12.25, leaving me with no heating during the coldest weather this year. My neighbour recommended Hartswood Heating Ltd who kindly managed to take an engineer off another job and start to instal a new Vaillant boiler. It took two days and I am delighted with the result. Hartswood Heating's quotation was lower than the two other quotations I sought. I feel in very safe hands.

Very helpful engineer who serviced our cylinder tank and checked water temperature and flow, and advised on possible reasons for underfloor heating not fully working in one upstairs room. Have asked for further advice on fitting a pump to increase water pressure to upstairs showers. Will most certainly use this company again now that I have found it.

A couple of days ago Hartswood Heating sent out a plumber to sort out problems with old under-sink pipe work in my kitchen which had come to light after a boiler leak recently. After a courtesy text Charlie arrived within the time frame I was given and sorted out the problem by cleaning out old pipes as well as fixing up new ones to create a better flow. He explained all the steps, got skillfully on with the job, tested at the end and left everything clean and tidy. He is a friendly and competent plumber to have around and I am very pleased with the job. Although I had wished for a slightly lower bill (I had accepted the estimate beforehand) I'm very happy to have found a reliable company which I will certainly use again in the future and which I can happily recommend!

Matt's team installed a new scheduling system for our heating and some new radiators. They worked really hard and efficiently, and left everything tidy. Matt recommended a Honeywell evohome system which is easy to set up and seems to be working as expected.

They installed a new boiler this time last year and It's just had it 1st service, no problems at all and all running fine, based on our experience we would recommend them. 24th April 2024 - Boiler serviced, efficient and professional as always.

Exceptional heat pump design & installation from start to finish. Matt and his team designed and built an air source heat pump powered central heating and hot water system for our house from scratch that only had storage heaters and an immersion heated water tank. The design was on point, flexibly designed for future planned improvements (an extension) and also at a very fair and competitive, transparent price that he stuck to. Matt also took the time to explain everything in what is an emerging technology that was new to us and answer every question we had. The work was done very neatly and considerately, the pipework is neatly laid out - routed to ensure we can extend with minimal troubles and the disruption was minimal considering every room needed pipework running to it. Matt was also very responsive and has been on hand to fine tune and he and his team were meticulous in snagging and cleaning up. I'd recommend Matt to anyone in a heartbeat and would be happy to talk to anyone considering his services to give more details. I very much feel like we lucked out finding him.

Sorted out a problem radiator and installed a Drayton Wiser HubR (the key part of a smart heating system) for us. In the process, did the best bit of investigation work I have seen from any heating professional so far, and replaced a mess of existing wiring with a tidy, organised, labelled, professional installation, all at reasonable price. Very pleased.

He was very generous with his time when discussing our central heating requirements in person, by phone and by email and was able to give a number of quotes, booking availability in his calendar to meet our needs. We were looking for an air source heat pump but when our requirements changed after he had met with us he was quickly able to send us a new quote for a combi boiler, even letting us know that a cancellation had opened up the same day to get an urgent job sorted for us before the main work would take place.

I wouldn't use anyone else - clean work, knows exactly what they are doing, and even found some things that weren't put right from our previous engineer! And, you can book your boiler service on line - how easy is that!
