Martin moved the boiler in our holiday home from the kitchen to upstairs, replumbed and replaced 12 radiators and installed a new bathroom. Excellent job, nothing was a problem, he got everything done and I wasn't even there. I'd highly recommend MCB Boiler Services.

First Class service in every way. Very reasonably priced. We got an oil service carried out last year. In Oct 2025 we got a new oil boiler and pipe, etc installed along with a check on the tank in the attic. Martin's communication from start to finish was excellent, kept to the agreed schedule at reasonable cost. He co ordinated all other trades needed and delivered everything to a high standard in my new shower room.

We hit a mains pipe and panic quickly followed — water everywhere and no idea what to do. CUT TO: Enter Martin from MCB Boiler Services, like a plumbing superhero (no cape, just tools and perfect timing). Calm, skilled, and somehow still full of laughs — his good humour is as infectious as his talent is impressive. The Brass Goat (Airbnb to be) was moments from a full-blown flood, and Martin saved the day with a smile. An absolute gem.

Martin and his team refurbished our ensuite and main shower, only one i could find within our price range. Our ensuite and bathroom look great. Communication was good from start to finish.

Having bought our new house, we required a new boiler, burner, pumps, cylinder and miscellaneous items linking it up to a new wood burning stove/back boiler during our renovation. Marty provided us a quote of 7700GBP for the installation AND USE of this. He was then made aware that we would be delayed in installing the back boiler stove/new flue after his initial quote. This was no problem for him, he was able to replace and install the new system and we were very happy with his service and effort and paid him in full, with good faith. We gladly recommended him to our friends that moved to NI from the U.S and was more than happy to continue to use his services on current and new upcoming projects. It's been almost a year. We have in the interim contacted him to complete the connection to back boiler stove. He said he was very busy, and he sent us a new 285GBP quotation to do this and claimed it was not included in the initial price. My Wife and I are saddened by this as we have his written quotations and shared multiple conversations with him. Never pay in full if work has not been completed.

Marty did a brilliant job getting our boiler going again after the pump stopped working - fast, clean and value for money - we would recommend him to anyone without a doubt. He also did a bathroom refit for us and took all the hassle of lining up different trades from start to finish. 5 stars all the way.

Martin came out the same day I had a boiler that wouldn't start. He quickly identified the problem and got it up and running again. He also gave it a full service a few weeks later. Martin explained everything he did and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others, a really nice guy and excellent quality of work.

I have used MCB Boiler services quite a few times over the past 10 years, not only for plumbing radiators , changing radiators, the odd water tap and American fridge freezer issues and can highly recommend. I had an oil smell in my house recently and realised it was the radiator valve leaking. Contacted MCB boiler service and he had it changed a couple of days later. Smell gone. Martin is reliable. When he says hes going to turn up, he turns up on time and prepared. He has serviced and repaired my boiler over the last few years and always does a tidy job.
