We found a massive crack in our oil tank which started leaking and we called SSS Alleviate for help. This was on a Sunday a couple of months ago. James and Tom arrived very quickly after we called them. We had just filled our oil tank so they transferred the oil to a temporary tank and nothing was too much trouble, even when their pump wasn't working they went to get another one and came back so quickly. We purchased a bunded tank from them and they safely removed our old tank and left us all the details for our records. They were very professional and swiftly dealt with the situation thankfully preventing the situation becoming a disaster. They were both so clean and tidy. We would very much recommend SSS Alleviate. This is the third time that we’ve used the services of SSS Alleviate. On the first two occasions there was water in our oil tank that stopped the boiler working. Each time they responded quickly and fixed the problem in a professional manner. We then agreed with James and Tom that the only long term solution was the replacement of our existing oil tank with a new bunded model. The work was completed today to a very high standard in dreadful weather conditions. In addition James was able to sort a couple of other problems with our boiler without any fuss. Great workers and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

I really didn’t want to write this review, but unfortunately I feel I have to. The service was extremely unprofessional. I called to arrange the transfer of heating oil to another property because I was moving house. The first thing I was told was that “it’s not worth it,” which already felt dismissive and unhelpful. Eventually, we agreed on a date and time. However, no one showed up, and my calls were ignored. When I called from a different number, the phone was answered and I was told that the truck had broken down. If your truck breaks down, that’s understandable — things happen. But the professional thing to do is call your customer and inform them, or at least answer the phone. Ignoring calls and failing to communicate is simply unacceptable. Very disappointing experience.

Great service, circulation pump needed replaced, the guys arrived on time kept me updated throughout. Quoted for job before the pump was replaced less than an hour my heating was back on. Restored my faith in tradesmen. They turned up on time fixed it and didn't rip me off. Highly recommend 10/10

Tom and the team were absolutely brilliant. If you are purchasing a house i would highly recommend that you use these guys to have your heating survey carried out. 58 page document covering in detail your oil tank pipe work boiler radiators water system etc etc. Best investment you can make as the heating system could be £1000's to repair or replace. This gives you great negotiating power when you are about to complete a house purchase. I will using the team to carry out remedial work immediately.

9 months ago I knew I needed to change my oil tank as my old one was coming to the end of its life. I got quotes from many companies with varied prices. I sent photos of my garden and a damaged pipe at my old oil tank into the guys at SSS Alleviate. I also spoke with them on the phone and they came out and looked at my garden and gave me a full itemised quote. Other companies only gave me verbal quotes. Once I had moved my shed and I was ready for my new oil tank they came out built a new base for the tank , dug a track in the garden for a new lined pipe and then installed a double skin tank. They work was done quickly, professionally and I wouldn't even know my garden had been dug as it was so neatly replaced. I choose this company as they had quoted me a thorough job aimed at giving me a new tank in line with the current requirements but also minimising the risk of future leaks. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants a thorough job done. Thank you.

I am glad I found SSS Alleviate when I was advised to replace my 28yr oil tank with a bunded tank. They were professional in the work they undertook and kept me updated throughout the process from transferring oil to a temporary tank, helping to deal with excess oil, right through the dismantling of old tank and base, to the creation of a new concrete base and installation of new tank. I would happily recommend Tom and James and am very pleased with the result of the work they did leaving me with a much tidier and useful oil tank area.

We can certainly recommend SSS Alleviate to anybody. Tom and his team have been the best people to do work for us ever. Nothing was too much trouble and they ensured everything was left clean and tidy every day. The job is a complete success and was very difficult to do. Replacing a very old Oil tank, boiler and all plumbing and electrics, some of which were in incredibly tight spaces was expertly done. They took painstaking care to leave the kitchen tiles as if nobody had been there ! It was a difficult and large job so took a lot of time in some very bad weather. The overall result was well worth waiting for and we couldn’t be more pleased.

I found the removal, re-positioning and replacement of my oil tank to be a very positive experience - Tom and his colleagues from SSE Alleviate were efficient, professional and friendly throughout.

Tom and James recently replaced my old oil tank with a brand new bunded tank. They came when they said carried out the removal of the old tank. Constructed a new base and fitted the new tank. This was all done without a drop of oil being split. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough for a clean, reliable and tidy job many thanks Tom and James.

Absolutely no hesitation in recommending SSS Alleviate and their service, which was exemplary. If only all businesses were as efficient , prompt and courteous, life would be so much better. I was in the middle of Africa on a Sunday night in October and my wife was in England when we got notified by our neighbour that our 2500 litre oil tank was leaking! It had just been filled to the top 3 days before I left! Our neighbours were wonderful and managed to stem the flow with soap whilst helping us search for someone to come to the rescue. Long story but the result was we contacted SSS Alleviate who arrived straightaway at nearly midnight with two emergency tanks, decanted the oil and connected up to the heating so it could still run. I lost only a few litres. They left the tanks in place while we waited for a new tank and installed a new base, which took quite a few weeks. The new tank has just been delivered and installed by them and everything was done in a timely and efficient manner at reasonable cost. First class service. Thank you guys.

The guys with SSS were extremely helpful and professional. They got back to me very quickly and were able to do a full inspection of my heating system within 48 hours. I would definitely recommend them and will be going back to them for any other jobs!

I chose SSS based on their reviews. And they are getting 3 stars based on the fact that the problem was fixed. But, I’m not quite sure how I feel about the way that they do business. I had my husband ring them our heating was not turning on. This was a Monday morning that he rang, the guys were out to us by Monday afternoon. 5 ⭐️ for how quick they got to us. They got the heating running. Said it would be £50, we gave them £60 cash because we were happy with the efficiency. Unfortunately that evening, I was trying to turn off the heat, and it would not turn off. Turned it off at the thermostat, turned it off on the digital control panel and that heat kept cranking, until I manually switched it off at the source. Told my husband he would need the guys to come back out. Text them that night, and rang them the next morning explaining that the heat never shut off after they got it going. The guys came back that afternoon 5⭐️ again for quickness. They came back and evaluated the boiler and found there was a valve stuck, we needed a part, told us the cost, we asked them to bill us because we didn’t have the cash on hand. They fixed the boiler and it’s been great since. We got the invoice and we were charged for the part, and another service call of £60. I’m not sure how the service call went up £10 in one day, or WHY we were charged for another service call when they clearly did not fix the problem during the 1st call out not even 24 hours earlier. And also, did not mention to us that there would be a charge for another service call. So while I am happy the boiler is fixed, I’m just not sure how I feel about the business practice. I’ve been in the service industry, and I know for a fact that if the business I worked in was called back out less then 24 hours we would not be tacking on another service call charge. “The original call out was for getting the boiler running, which we did” yes this is true. But there was clearly still an issue if it would then not shut off.

Our Oil burner broke down and I couldn't get anyone out to fix the problem for a week and a half, James came out and sorted us out with a new burner for a fantastic price. Even sorted the old oil filter and line out for no cost. Lovely man and a fantastic service, would recommend to anyone!

One of my water pipes under my kitchen sink started leaking and I unfortunately had no luck finding a plumber anywhere in Banbridge. SSS Alleviate carried out a survey of my Oil Heating System, identified the issues that needed improving and provided the service to to improve the efficiency and safety of the system. This involved putting in a new Condenser Oil Boiler, upgrade the oil tank, replaced a leaking radiator and performed a chemical clean of the heating system. They performed the work efficiently, on time and with minimum disruption to ourselves. Definitely a value for money service.
