Econic were fantastic from start to finish. Cristoph did his best to meet my very tight budget, Andrew was fantastic with the heat loss calculations and spent a great deal of time recommending insulation options. Pradeep is so knowledgeable and put me at ease with my underfloor heating installation and how it will work with the heat pump, even spoke to my installer to make sure all connections were up to standard and done correctly. Lastly and not least, Jannie who led the installation team was a superstar, even remedied a slight issue with the UFH to make sure everything worked as it should. They completed work to a high standard and the installation was very tidy. I had a tough time with my renovation, but this element of it couldn't have gone smoother, even with my indecisiveness, Econic were very accommodating and offered advice throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend using this company. Trustworthy, reliable and great value for money when compared to other quotes. I have noticed an immediate lowering of my electricity bill and the fear I had of whether the house would be warm or whether we would have enough hot water were unfounded, even had to turn the temperature down! Christoph and His team, were very professional and Knowledgeable, from initial contact to survey and installation. They continue to monitor the system remotely . They are very approachable and respond to your concerns in a timely manner. The installation team were tidy and polite, you are given a pre daily plan prior to installation. I would highly recommend them for heat pump installation.

A big thank you to the Econic Energy team for the installation of my heat pump heating system. I have a Victorian house in North London that I have spent several years renovating. A few years ago I put solar panels on the roof with a battery storage system. The last remaining major project was removing gas heating and going all electric with a heat pump heating system. It took several years and several attempts to find a contractor and heat pump system that were well suited for the retrofit of the Victorian house. I was very pleased with the Econic Energy team, having by far the most knowledge for what heat pump system would fit with my house, how it should be installed, and how it could be installed efficiently with minimal interruption to the house. The team executed the project in less than a week, and the system is now working well. I am happy to recommend the Econic Energy team, and encourage others to pursue heat pump heating system retrofits for their own houses.

I have just had a heat pump and battery installed by Econic Energy, and am very happy with them. From my initial enquiry to Christoph, the installation went quickly and smoothly. Andrew was very helpful when he surveyed my house, and the people working on the job were friendly and kept disruption to a minimum. Everything was left immaculate at the end of each day. Pradeep has been particularly helpful with all my technical queries.

Econic installed a heat pump and battery in my home, and were very helpful and good at communicating the process all the way through. Despite a little hiccup with getting the battery commissioned (not their fault but that of the battery manufacturer), the system is all set up and works well. I’m looking forward to seeing how much the winter’s bills will now come down.

After talking to many companies about changing from my gas boiler to a heat pump, I selected Econic as they clearly understood what was required and were very knowledgeable. The survey and instalation were exceptional. All my concerns were answered and the tradesmen were the ultimate professional. Post instalation there have not been any surprises. Can't wait for winter to see how the heat pump performs - currently I'm just using hot water, all working well and it's very quiet.

Christoph and the team did a great job planning and fitting my heat pump. Every step of the process was explained clearly and any questions answered in full and at length. The installation team were very professional, making sure I was aware what was happening every day, keeping the house clean as they went and I felt did a really neat job. Two weeks in and system is working fine - seeing small savings on hot water though early days.

I've had the heat pump for several months now and I'm very happy with everything about it. The hot water is always there and the house is always at the temperature you set on the thermostat. And my bills have gone way down. Also, the installation was very professional. The garden where the heat pump is located was tidier when they left than it had been before they came. Great service and workmanship

Very impressed with the whole team at Econic (Christoph, Pradeep, Andrew) – from start to finish. Experienced and knowledgeable team and incredibly enthusiastic about all things heating and heat pumps related – and it showed in the quality of their advice, service and workmanship. The team fitted a Vaillant ASHP and hot water cylinder system and connected it all up to our newly fitted radiators (which they also sized) and UFH system. The install itself was helpfully fitted into my plumber’s schedule and completed to a high standard, using top quality fittings and equipment. Very responsive to questions and queries throughout. Hardworking, polite and professional. Highly recommended.

We couldn’t have been more impressed by Econic, from start to finish. First, the survey was prompt (within days) and extremely well and clearly presented – the costs of installation, the potential savings of both money and CO2 with and without a battery. Everything was well explained. We discussed in details where to put the heatpump and battery (for storing energy from the grid at offpeak hours and potentially for future solar feed). We agreed to upgrade two radiators but didn’t need to replace anything else in the house. The installation took four days – with just the first day without hot water for a few hours. Econic lent us heaters during the period. The Econic teams – both the electricians and heating plumbers – were terrific, all very efficient, super courteous, and left everthing clean and organised at the end of the day. Finally, we’re very happy with the operation of the heatpump and battery. The house – four storeys and not very well insulated (thin brick walls, not cavity) – is warm. The water’s hot. And the Apps to regulate the heatpump and the battery are clear and easy to use. All in all, it is hard to imagine a better experience of installing a heat pump and battery.

Absolutely faultless service from Econic. For our family they removed our old boiler, managed to remove the old cold- and hot-water tanks from our loft (something we thought impossible) and installed a heat-pump and new hot-water vessel. Christoph was amazing in communicating the stages of the install and processing our MCS grant, and Pradeep and his engineers proved themselves to be extremely competent, tenacious and respectful. This company is absolutely fantastic - not something I often say. From the initial contact to design, installation, commissioning and all the important bits of paper at the end, they were professional, knowledgeable, and on it. They communicated well, sorted everything from the EPC to the grant etc. From initial contact to commissioning was barely three weeks. A masterclass in how to do business. I could not recommend them more highly.

Efficient, helpful and pragmatic.

I would highly recommend Econic Energy company since from the first contact at the Eco Action Hub they were very friendly and provided us with a bespoke service, their advice and experience in heat pumps was invaluable as neither I or my wife did have much knowledge about the topic and how heat pumps do actually work. During their assessment visit at our property Cristoph and Pradeed showed professionalism, experience and their eagerness to help us with understanding what the installation would be like and the benefits of the heat pump with our electricity bills was what convinced us to take action and have the heat pump installed. Our brand new heat pump has been installed for the last two weeks, the house is cozy warm and our electricity usage has already shown a reduction which can only be a great thing.

I highly recommend Econic, they’re very experienced guys who take a lot of pride in their work and are passionate about the technology and what it can do for your home. They jumped into my project (house build) at a time when outside temperatures were plummeting, just after I had been let down by a rogue supplier. Christoph, Jay and their team recently installed a heat pump, and battery system, including new rads, for us. They were great at understanding our needs, putting up with our questions, and adapting to the changing government grants. We now have a much more comfortable heating system that suits working from home really well. I'm looking forward to seeing how the system performs on cold winter days.
