New boiler fitted a year ago. Recently had its first service. Carried out by their new engineer, also called Robert. Arrived early in the specified time slot and carried out the service efficiently and with friendly attitude. Our decision to use RJS for last years replacement was the correct one.

We have used RJS for the first time when our boiler packed up. They came out to see us very promptly and whilst they could have repaired our existing boiler we decided to use the money more wisely and replace our 14 year old boiler with a new more efficient one. Robert provided us with a quote while he was with us and when we agreed to proceed the new boiler was delivered & installed 2 days later. The service was speedy, well executed and nothing was any trouble. The installation was very neat & tidy and all of the rubbish was removed from site. RJS time again, i never have to think about getting the boiler serviced. i pay a small amount by direct debit once a month to RJS and leave it up to them. they then get in touch to remind me it needs its service and i just have to agree to a time for them to come, and there is no bill to pay, can't recommend them enough.

They have a monthly subscription service that is very good value and means you’re not hit with a big service fee. Many years ago, when my boiler broke down in the middle of winter and I was in a very difficult situation, Rob went above and beyond to help me. RJS have serviced our boiler for a number of years. Unfortunately this year after 17 years the boiler started to fail. RJS were happy to repair but also gave us a reasonable price for a new Worcester Bosch with a 10 year guarantee. The new boiler was fitted within a day, minimal fuss/mess and we now have peace of mind going forwards.

I have used RJS Heating Ltd for many, many years and they are THE company to use for friendly, effective, considerate, reliable attention to every detail with my heating requirements. From routine maintenace and the occasional repair plus, a few years ago a new boiler, RJS Heating have been faultless in their response to ALL my needs, including now, my living room gas fire maintenance. And when I have a problem outside of normal hours - it happens - Rob is always, but always there to offer help, advice and support. And if the need is urgent Rob will attend out of hours, even at weekends. And that impecable service is also reflected by those who work for him. I had a recent normal service call but as I had suffered a recent injury and could not offer assistance to 'move things' Rob's engineer - also called Rob - moved everything himself, including a heavy blanket box, AND put it all back again when he had finished. Robert came to service our boiler. He was punctual, very polite and friendly. He showed great respect to our property which is important to us. Robert was extremely thorough and promptly emailed us our Gas service report for our records. We also found our radiators were much warmer when we put our heating on, so much so we turned it off much earlier than usual! My boiler service was completed at the specified time and arranging it was a very easy process. During the visit I was able to discuss a possible new location for a boilervand was given both the pros and cons so I could make a decision. I have always found all the staff to be respectful, thoughtful and knowledgeable so I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Right on new year2026 heating playing up and engineer promptly attended, however took time to sort out and replacement controls etc. unfortunately on checking the copper tank a leak was found that was the major problem with electrics. New tank being installed next week. Not a good start to 2026 . However RJS can be relied on👍

RJS Heating have been looking after our Valliant heating system for many years. From annual servicing, ad hoc 'repairs/fixes' to replacement boilers, their work has been to a high standard. They are reliable and punctual and everyone is friendly (with a particular mention for the office support) and courteous.

I found RJS Heating through Age UK when Robert came to service my old boiler. When it finally gave up the ghost they put in a new one. It was a tricky job in my old house and took all day to complete. Their work is first rate. I have a service contract with them which gives me peace of mind knowing I can get emergency help if something goes wrong. Been using RJS for 4yrs. Appointments via Susan (who is super friendly and helpful) are easy to get & fit in with my work hours. Robert is always prompt, friendly and informative. We have an unvented cylinder and it's much better behaved since Robert has been working on it! The shoe covers on arrival are a bonus for keeping my floors clean. Overall a very good, family run service.

I always get a call from a lovely lady, who is polite and friendly, booking my service in. The workmen come out and are never late. They are polite and respectful, giving you a complete explanation of what they have done and inform of any repairs that need doing. I was sent a email almost straight away explains the price and work that need doing. I have never been let down by RJS and would highly recommend their services.

Rob was recommended to me by a friend as I had problems with no hot water, the boiler flue not being compliant and a gas leak! They provided a satisfactory solution and carried out the work promptly and efficiently with the minimum of mess, located the gas leak and got the hot water on immediately whereas I had had problems before with previous companies trying to fix the problem. Would highly recommend and will use them for any future problems. Their assistance was much appreciated.

I first used RJS several years ago when I needed a new boiler. I was so impressed with this company that I have never used anyone else since. RJS Heating do a great service, I am very please with them, I do not have to remember when my service is do, and most accomodating when booking a service. A couple of years ago I had my boiler up dated and had a hive thermostat fitted with RJS and very please especially on the way home i can put on my heating or If I forget to turn it off I can.

Robert and his team are always prompt in booking in our service, they are polite and do the work very professionally. They always clean up after themselves i would recommend them.

Tom and Rob are both very friendly and easy going, they didn't make me feel silly when I said I think the fire place needs pulling out due to alot of debris falling down the back and that I didn't know what paint I needed for the coal so rob ordered it for me. They don't just come in and do a job they talk to you and listen. They are very efficient and do a job to the highest of standards. They do not rip you off and give you the best price an quote. They always tidy up after them selves and leave no mess behind. I'd highly recommend them! We have have been with this company now for nearly 30years that's how good they are! RHS Heating have been servicing my boiler, central heating and gas fire since 1985, they are absolutely the best, always on time,, they do a brilliant job and makes sure the customer is happy with the work and tidy up before they leave.

RJS replaced our boiler about 4 years ago. We were very pleased with the work carried out and the cost was competitive. We took out the service plan they offer which we have been very pleased with. Robert and his staff are always helpful, punctual and professional- when we recently had an issue with our thermostat they responded quickly. I would happily recommend RJS heating to others.

Very good and thorough service

Robert came out to service an old boiler at a property I had recently purchased. Robert was thorough, explained the common issues with my boiler and also talked me through what he was checking as he went. The boiler and cupboard housing said boiler were also put back as before. I will definitely use RJS again and would recommend them to anybody.

The death of our 30+ year old gas boiler, although not unexpected, resulted in a search for a local company to not only price, but advise on the route ahead. After talking with friends, who have been inflicted with the same problem, advised us to talk to RJS, a local heating company. They had received excellent service for not just the installation, but after service and servicing. On meeting Rob the owner, I was immediately impressed with his knowledge and understanding of the problem, he took time to go over all the options we had, and what each meant to us as users. As promises, installation was swift and as planned, and completed in the three days quoted. all equipment was delivered and on time. Small alterations were repaired as promised . The Hub and phone app installed on the final day, and time taken to instruct on its use, plus quality workmanship and a high professional manner taken at all times was well received. Three quotes were obtained in addition to the RJS quote, RJS were not the cheapest, but their detailed quote, attention to detail, their professional manner and time taken to make sure we were happy, was well worth the small extra margin. I would thoroughly recommend RJS.

My boiler was on the blink and Rob came out to take a look. He managed to sort the issue there and then and get my heating and hot water back on. Aside from being a great engineer, he was a friendly yet very professional person - clean, tidy and polite. Would highly recommend!

Excellent quality work from Chris fitting a new gas hob. The job had a few challenges, but I was very pleased with the results. Update: Chris and Rob done a fantastic job replacing my old boiler. The work was carried out to a very high standard; essentially, I trust them sufficiently to let them get on with the work without having to do any supervising. I would have no hessitation in recommending them.

After the failure of my boiler controller, I discussed my options with Robert Senior and then taking into account the age of the boiler and controller options, I decided to change my boiler. Chris turned up on time and worked very hard all day to finish the job. I lost count on how many times he went up and downstairs so he must have been exhausted! Finally he went through all the settings on the controller so I could familiarise myself with the boiler's new features. An excellent job from all at RJS Heating and the final bill adjusted downwards to reflect any overcharging.

Booked a engineer (Rob) to call for central heating combi boiler yearly service. I received an email with all relevant information about the time and date 09/06/23 for appointment? Rob arrived on time was smart and tidy which is a rare thing these days? He introduced himself and then explained what the service entails? Rob was chatty but also very professional. Service didn't take long and filled the boiler log book out? Which the Baxi engineers never did? Rob was both efficient and clean which is a Godsend? He Spoke about their scheme for boiler brakedowns/services? A lot cheaper than the competition I can tell you? So I joined up straight away. Got them to come and service my boiler before the coming winter. I found them to be very courteous and prompt with their communication. Excellent workmanship, and they quickly spotted a crack in a gas pipe which could have led to some serious problems later on. I was very impressed with everything they did to fix the problem.

If you’re looking for someone to service, fix or replace your boiler/heating and aren’t sure who from the endless lists on Google, trust a trader etc you can trust to be reliable and good, when it seems be getting harder to find good people these days, RJS are the people to call. Can’t recommend these guys enough. Rob, Sue and everyone at RJS are just lovely, really helpful and they do a great job every time. RJS have been my go to boiler/central heating people for a number of years now after coming to my rescue when my boiler clapped out in the middle of winter, and have always been great. They do an annual service plan, which is a £6 a month, that you don’t notice, and the next thing you know Sue is calling you to book in your service so you never forget and you don’t have a sudden financial hit one month. Awesome if like me you’re not rolling in money (if only eh?!) Most recently, they put a new boiler in for me at my new property (June 22). Chris from their team fitted the boiler for me this time, he did a fantastic job, and didn’t leave a mess behind (unlike some workmen I’ve dealt with lately 🙄), he even helped me set up the timers on the boiler before he left and was just lovely the whole time he was there. Highly recommend.

Phoned RJS after finding them on Google while looking for a local central heating engineer, spoke to Sue, Robs wife at about 11-30 am explained the problem, Rob was with me by 2-30 the same day, by 5-00 pm he had sorted the problems, showing and explaining what he was doing, what I would call old school, informative friendly and helpful I couldn't recommend him highly enough for his work, I will certainly have him back again if and when needed, a proper job. Fantastic, professional service, diagnosing and repairing my aged boiler without excuse or prevarication that it was too old. It took time and effort to source the replacement part as the boiler is over 20 years old, I was not charged any extra for this time and effort. I can thoroughly recommend this company.

Rob organised the movement on the pipework to the Worcester Bosch boiler which he fitted for us a few years ago. We only asked for this work to be completed 2 days ago. To have the work done so speedily is very helpful. The price was right too. Highly recommend Rob's business and workmen, who are always polite, efficient and tidy.

My boiler was long overdue a service and this company came with a great recommendation. The engineer was friendly and informative, explaining everything he was doing clearly. My boiler had started to be really noisy when firing up and this sight fault was rectified with no extra charge. Will definitely use again.

Robert gave us a very honest, no pressure quote. I wanted to install Honeywell Evohome smart controls and Rob admitted to not having experience if that system but would still take it on following learning more. His engineer Chris arrived with Rob as promised on the agreed date and time and tackled the replacement of an old Alpha boiler with a Worcester Bosch including relocating the vertical flue through a flat roof. All radiator valves were also changed with Honeywell ones and gas pipes within the living room were also made safe and removed. Chris and Rob were very professional and helpful

Difficult not to use too many superlatives! A fantastic, knowledgeable team. We were let down by both our insurer and the heating team they had sent out.
