The installation team really love their work and have transformed a room within our house with a beautiful wood burner in a stone alcove (was previously the main kitchen range). I’m glad I went to Think Energy for my first ever log burner. I received guidance in choosing the right one for my fireplace and home from Richard and all the team. I wanted the original fireplace exposed and all possible care was taken to ensure dust was removed; a ‘tent’ was erected along with a vacuum. The carpet was completely covered. This has been a very professional service and I would not hesitate to recommend them, in fact I have booked them for two further projects.

Outstanding service from Dan and Simon, the installers on the day. They were professional and patient while other activities were going on all around them. They clearly know their stuff and were real problem solvers, making sure we got the very best install. The stove itself is of excellent quality (Contura) and pumps out a lot of heat. Derek was great at positioning the hi-lift and the flu installation was done with little fuss and minimum disruption to the neighbours' lane access. The overall price was fair, and given the level of service, really competitive. All in all a five star service from a team that takes pride in their work - nicely done lads!

This is the less glamorous end of their business. John Lee and Harry with shovels, then on hands & knees up to the elbows in mud in our driveway digging up an old, leaking stopcock, digging a new trench and replacing pipework and stopcock with modern plastic fittings. It took inventiveness, skill and hours of damned hard graft conducted with good humour throughout. Thank you both.

Great service from John. Very polite and determined to make sure he could get everything working as we wanted. Other plumbers tried and failed but John was excellent.

We are delighted with our stove from Think Energy. They managed the environment brilliantly to keep the room as clean as possible despite the mess and soot. The old fire surround also survived. It’s not just us that love it, the dog also thinks it’s the best thing ever! If I had a suggestion it’s the communication between office, installers and clients could be better. We appreciate they are busy but as the client it could be a bit frustrating. That said we are very happy thank you and would recommend Think Energy.

Throughout the whole experience of choosing the right stove to suit our needs, overcoming the snags of not having a chimney stack, then the instalation process. Think Energy kept us informed of progress, ensured we were aware of all costs and gave us an accurate timescale. The job itself was carried out professionally by two personable operatives, without fuss or inconvenience, with excellent quality and finish. Think Energy is in my view excellent value for money and I would highly recommend.

Had a biomass boiler replaced with oil tank and boiler. Very neat and tidy job carried out. Staff arrived on time, got on promptly and kept us informed at all stages. Even arranged an oil delivery which was above and beyond what we expected. Very happy with the work.

Ask for the company to quote with a view to buy a fire in a property we are buying. Refused to do so until property was fully purchased so will not be using as we simply don’t seem an important customer to them.

26/2/24 was our first visit.Numerous reminder emails sent asking for a quote.Absolutely nothing,obviously dont want the business. We've used someone else and the job is done.

Contacted regarding a solar install. Initially good interaction, however they then went silent with no response to multiple attempts at contact over the course of 3 weeks. Incredibly poor. Edit: Communication improved significantly, and I've ended up hiring Think Energy NE for my solar install. Previously scored 1 star, but they really turned it around.

We’ve used this company several times for our boiler service, always very happy. This year we also had our wood burner serviced and the chimney swept. There was a slight issue which was resolved speedily to our complete satisfaction. They are assured of our continuing custom.

We had a Woodwarm Phoenix Firegem multi fuel stove installed last week by Think Energy Ltd and I can't recommend the company, the service, the installation team and the product more highly. From the time the team arrived, to the time they left, we were kept fully informed as the job progressed. Given options on the fine details of the installation, as and when they presented themselves. Which in turn resulted in the end product being exactly what we wanted. The three man team of Dan, Rory and Callum shared skills that completed the job to a very high standard and we can't thank them enough for their professionalism while working at our property. We would not hesitate to recommend Think Energy to anyone considering using the company.

After being undecided about which heating option to place into our forever home, we sat down with Rich at Think Energy and discussed many options. We went for the Air Source Heat Pump, with underfloor heating. As we were stripping the house right back, we were advised by Rich with regards to insulating the house correctly to ensure full efficient use from the heating system. Must admit I was very unsure about the Air Source heating, as I am a cold person even in the summer, I have my coat on! We moved in just before Christmas, and we have never had to turn the heating on upstairs in our house. The underfloor heating works a dream and sends the heat through the rest of the house. Efficiency wise, our previous house we were paying for electric and Coal, this system may have been the more expensive option, but currently due to its use its saving me money compared to what we were paying in out previous house.

We have just had a wood burning stove from Contura installed. From the initial advice we received in the showroom, to the contact from the company in preparation for the installation, to the installation itself the experience has been first class. Dan and Rory were brilliant, really attending to detail and making sure that any questions we had were answered. A five star experience. We would heartily recommend.

We recently had a full biomass central heating system installed by Think Energy and I could not be happier that we chose them for the job. I really liked Rich from the initial meeting, it was very clear that he is extremely good at his job. The install lasted about 9 days and I have to specifically call out Jack and Tom who handled the majority of the work. They were an absolute pleasure to have around, clearly super talented and were so considerate of everything which I really appreciated. This was a fantastic service from Think Energy from start to finish. We are absolutely delighted with our new log burner which has completely transformed our living room. The installation wasn't as straightforward as expected but this was not a problem for Think Energy. Dan and his team were great and their ability to turn their hands to everything meant that all the related work such as re-plastering was completed without fuss. I don't write many reviews but Think Energy deserve one! We decided to replace our aging oil fired boiler with a more environmentally acceptable replacement. The recommendation was for a pellet boiler as our house is not suitable for a heat pump. From initial evaluation through to completion I have been highly impressed by the professional approach of the company, work was scheduled and completed in a week and now we don't have to buy oil! Dan & Callum recently installed a new 5KW Woodwarm Phoenix Firegem stove in my mother's cottage in Haydon Bridge. Really good experience from start to finish, removal of existing fireplace, some building work and plastering along with new flue liner. Installation of a nice clean and modern fireplace with new hearth and mantle. Guys turned up when they said they would, left the place clean and tidy. All done and dusted within 3 days. Thanks a lot.

Really helpful people. Just waiting for an appointment for an engineer to call. After a visit by Dan and a quote which we accepted the Woodwarm Phoenix stove was fitted yesterday and today. Because of high winds it wasn't safe to fit the cowling using the cherry picker but were pleased when it happened today. We are delighted with the standard of workmanship and the friendliness of the team lead by Dan. These are can do people. The extraction of our old back boiler was a challenge but it was done with an attitude that we knew would win through. We recommend this company unreservedly and will certainly have no hesitation using them again.

We recently had a woodburning stove fitted by Think Energy, Hexham, and we are thrilled with it. The lads, Dan, Rory and Callum were marvellous. They meticulously covered carpet, book shelves and furniture and the dust was kept to an absolute minumum. They were friendly, polite and good natured throughout. Just had a replacement oil boiler fitted by the brilliant team at Think Energy. Full day chemical flushing and cleaning radiator system (15 years of build up!). Then 1 day to remove broken boiler and fit and commission new german low emission, high efficiency boiler with filter system. Great coordination with Charltons who delivered early morning and then 2 fitters installed with the service technician doing commission followed by electrician to do install of wireless control system. Working superbly. Thanks to Richards team, Kieran, John, Dan and Andy. Highly recommended and Think install gives extended guarantee. Definitely recommend .

I would definitely recommend Think Energy, they're spot on in every department. The lady in the office has been amazing, she's always friendly, polite and professional, and she kept us upto date with what was happening and when. The lads who came and installed our woodburner are brilliant, they're friendly, very helpful when I had any questions about the woodburner, and their workmanship is top quality. I had concerns about my light coloured carpets but they covered everything with protective plastic. And I was shocked at how little dirt and dust there actually was, they kept it all to a minimum with their equipment they use. Our woodburner looks amazing. I will definitely use them again if needed. Thank you for your amazing work.

We had a slight issue with the boiler but Richard came out to fix the issue on a Saturday night, he was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the product. The wood burning stove looks amazing! I saw the Think Energy team at work on my son's house 18 months ago and knowing he has been very content with the work they did, they were the obvious choice for my project. And I'm delighted by the end result. I was offered a variety of ideas in the design and an expert opinion by a knowledgeable and friendly team. I was kept informed at all stages of the work and, when it was complete, the fitters were concerned that I understood how the fire worked, with helpful tips and reassurances that they were only a phone call away if I had any concerns or questions. The team were anxious to keep mess to a minimum and made a big effort to tidy up at the end of each day and at the job. I had great confidence in them and am very happy to recommend Think Energy.

We recently had an ESSE wood burning stove fitted. We are extremely pleased, both with the service we had from the company and the product. Firstly they advised us on a much more effricient stove, than we had originally and also fitted it successfully, despite encountering several problems during the process. We are really thrilled with it, and are enjoying the wonderful heat in our living room. Thank you so much.

My Contura wood burning stove was fitted today within a few weeks of placing the order. I was replacing a gas appliance. The fitters arrived just after 8am, quickly disconnected and made safe the redundant gas supply, and took great care to protect my furnishes and belongings from dust. They then worked methodically until the fitting was completed at 2.30pm (far ahead of what I’d envisaged), cleaned up and left the living room immaculate. I was given a practical demonstration about how to light and use the stove. I was also left a supply of firefighters, kindling and logs to tide me over until the next day as mine weren’t yet delivered. The stove looks fantastic. I can’t fault the service from initial discussion to completion. Excellent.

( Despite the fact he is from Lancashire !! ?? sorry, only joking !! ) Cheerful, tidy, punctual multi--skilled installation engineers, who worked hard to meet our spec. and kept us informed, as work progressed, which enabled us to make ongoing choices, as our old house revealed some unexpected challenges. Just keep them well supplied with brews, and you won't be disappointed !! Really happy with the end result. Stove working a treat, and looks great. The whole experience from first inquiry to completed installation has been very good.
