Thomas & the team carried out my oil to gas conversion last year, & the entire service provided from start to finish was A++++ & exemplary! I had a problem with the shower recently (badly blown fuse etc) & was just checking Hynes website to check if this was a service they provided. I accidentally clicked on the 'call' option & quickly cancelled it (as it was a Sunday). However I got call-back from Thomas shortly after (btw sorry for interrupting the cleaning of your van lol), & he couldn't do enough in advising & helping me. He gave me the number of Electrician he works with....I rang next morning....prob all sorted that evening. Thomas works to a very high standard & expects the same from the guys in his team (who are a credit to him)....he certainly leads by example. The service provided is professional & the work completed to the utmost standard & in a very timely manner. Hynes is certainly a Company I will be keeping in my phone-list!

Almost 10 years of a dodgy boiler, countless plumbers out to look at it. With the most recent 2 saying we need a new boiler. We asked Thomas to quote us for a new boiler but instead he managed to find the problem, fix and service it and we finally have a fully functional boiler and the hottest water we have ever had! Unbelievable service, wish we had known about him years ago! Would recommend to anybody.

Hynes plumbing & heating recently done an oil to gas conversion in my mums home. The team were amazing from start to finish would highly recommend these fellas to get the job done to a high standard. Quick efficient and tidy thanks again we dont know our self's with the heat coming from the gas.

We have now had two excellent experiences with Thomas, he is friendly, knowledgable and conscientious. He always responds promptly when contacted and is happy to come out in the evening or at weekends. On one occasion, on a Sunday afternoon he was there within 20 minutes of us calling. After a number of bad experiences with unscrupulous tradesmen in recent years Thomas is a breath of fresh air. I would 100% recommend him.

Honestly top class service. Had issues with our boiler going on 10 years and having a half dozen plumbers and gas engineers out to look at it, including the original installer. Was told recently that the boiler had reached end of life and needed replaced. Spoke to Thomas about replacing the boiler and within 30 minutes he has the boiler back up and running. He was able to show me the exact issues with the boiler and a service and small part change and the boiler is good as new. Thomas could have easily put a new boiler and made the money of us, but his knowledge and honestly showed the class of the man. We now have an efficient boiler with great heating and as much hot water as want. My only complaint is that I should have phoned him years ago!

Couldn't recommend Hynes plumbing and Heating enough. Had an issue with our gas boiler with no heating or hot water all of a sudden. Rang and left a message expecting to be hit with the classic "i can squeeze you in next week." Not this crowd, I had a Thomas at my door late in a monday evening 45 minutes later. Boiler fixed and serviced in a couple of hours (parts required to repair in stock on the van). Couldn't recommend enough. Fast professional and extremely well priced. Would recommend to anyone and cant thank them enough.

Just had a full gas conversion from Hynes plumbing & heating Ltd. Incredible service. Thomas and his team arrived first thing in the morning and completed all work in one day. They removed the old oil tank and hot press aswell as completing the full conversion. The team left the house spotless before they left. Amazing service. Thomas is 100%. Had a leak in our heating system that flooded the kitchen through the ceiling at 5am. Thomas was there within 20 minutes, located the leak, reassured us all that would be ok and returned later with the parts to fix the issue. Top man and top service. Thank you.

Can’t recommend Thomas highly enough. I had to sort a heating system for an elderly relative from abroad and Thomas was excellent. Knew the urgency of the situation and went out of his way to repair and replace everything at speed so my relative could leave hospital and return home to a warm house. Top quality job done by the boys converting my house from oil to gas, they removed the old oil system and took it away, had the job done in one day, when they left you wouldn't even know they where in the house clean and tidy job

Had a burst water pipe and called Thomas — he showed up within 15 minutes away and got everything fixed in no time. Very professional, polite, and clearly knew what he was doing. The work was neat, and he made sure everything was running properly before leaving. Great service and fair pricing — highly recommend for any emergency plumbing needs.

Inconsistent communication and a failure to complete jobs. We are not happy. We’ve had a leaking shower for almost a year and had requested support from Hynes. Lots of ignored messages which we were told is due to their communication system. Finally following a visit we was told by Hynes how to do the job ourselves. (The only positive from that visit is that he fixed the water pressure, which wasn’t requested, but we were thankful nonetheless). After a month and failing to complete the job ourselves (my wife and I are not plumbers), we again politely requested professional support. Again after more ignored messages and even a request for boiler servicing (as a way of actually getting someone out) we finally had a response and was told we needed a new shower. That’s great we said, let’s make this happen and order a new shower! Again ignored messages and through attrition we’ve given up. I do not recommend Hynes. They are always “Booked up” even though our initial booking to complete repairs is incomplete. I would rather they just say we don’t want your custom and allow us to move on with someone else rather than kicking the can down the road. Update: Thank you for attempting to discredit our review of your services by calling us dishonest. I would be more than happy to share with you the correspondence we’ve had with yourself, trying to elicit a date for works to be completed. It was us alone who kept on pushing for information when proposed deadlines passed, often by weeks. This request for services was made 5 months ago! I have the entire saga recorded... In our messages we have been polite. You have been abrupt. We have done the chasing. You have made excuses. Not only that you have also made a threat to my wife. I honestly find the entire situation bizarre. You’re correct. You fixed the pressure and drained a radiator. We didn’t ask for that but it is mentioned in my original post. I would have been more than happy to pay for services. But we were not serviced as requested.

I cannot recommend Hynes Plumbing and Heating Ltd enough, specifically Thomas, who went above and beyond to help us out. My grandmother’s oil heating had stopped working, leaving her without any heat. Thomas responded incredibly quickly and was both fast and effective in getting the system back up and running. Thomas and his team recently did an oil to gas conversion for us. They completed the job in one day and the whole team were extremely courteous and professional during the work which included removing the old oil boiler, oil tank, hot press tank and piping and attic water tank. TRV’s were fitted to all our radiators and remote control of the heating was provided. The whole experience was very positive and I can thoroughly recommend Thomas and his team for any similar work.

I would highly recommend Thomas and his team. Carried out a full radiator and heating system clean for us a while ago and brought every radiator back to as good as new. Blown away that they could do the work in one day and be away at 5pm with the work all completed to a high standard which included removing oil tank, hot press tank, hot water tanks in roof space + disconnecting the back boiler in the fire (which required intricate removal and putting back of fire place). The team that worked on the day were brilliant and did bits and pieces outside of what was originally agreed. Thomas had completed an oil to gas conversion in my parents home 3 years ago. They are a real friendly bunch of lads skilled at what they do! They are clean, tidy, neat and done a top job! No mess, no fuss, just a high quality job! I called Thomas, today, for a service and to check the boiler as there was no heat or hot water despite the boiler turning on. Thomas arranged for one of his plumbers to attend within the hour, and true to his word, the plumber turned up within the hour. He had the issue fixed within minutes (a bit of dirt had got into the system) and completed the service. Again, another quick efficient service resorting heat to my elderly parents home. Had Thomas out to change the heating from oil to gas. I would highly recommend this company for any plumbing work that needs done. The work was completed in a day, as promised, and there was no mess in the house. They cleaned as they went along. He even came out the following day to make sure everything was working correctly. I have seen other houses in the street that had gas installed but there are small extra touches with this company that really made the difference, like hiding the outside pipes under a cover. The other houses in the street have the bare pipes exposed. I wouldn't hesitate using them again for any plumbing work.

WOW! JUST WOW! Never have I ever experienced such a seamless, zero hassle or efficient service. I contacted Hynes on a friend’s recommendation Thursday morning, they arrived that evening to assess the current boiler which was displaying numerous faults and loosing pressure. They provided me their honest and expert opinion that it wouldn’t be worth the spend needed to repair it, boiler was 14years old and a relatively unknown/poor quality brand. By Saturday the old was removed, new installed with no fuss, no mess and nothing further for me to do! Contacted Thomas about an issue with a DAB pump. Despite being busy he fitted us in the same day for an assessment. We ended up needing a new pump which he sourced and fitted the next working day. Needed Gas boiler replaced and was introduced to Thomas by a friend. From the first introduction he was courteous and gave the impression he operated a tight ship. We were under pressure to get the job done and he said he had approximately 12 weeks work ahead of ours. He was most accomadating under the circumstances and gave me a date just a few days away. My initial thoughts were that this won't happen and will slip into the distant future somewhere. Unprompted Thomas contacted me the day before his due date to check the best time for us. Three vans turned up like clockwork and his professional crew got to work. He supplied everything including a 3rd party electrician and roofer to install new flue pipe. It was a fully turnkey job which included all the relevant paperwork and certificates in a nicely presented folder. I made comment to my wife that in my lifetime of involvement in contracting he was up there with the elite. Well done Hynes plumbing and heating. 1st Class.

Thomas, Paul and team did my oil to gas conversion last week. They arrived on time and finished the job in one day. In addition to the conversion, 4 radiators were replaced and an additional one was installed. The copper pipes at the front and rear of my house were encased which I was very happy about as I had recently had the house painted and wasn't looking forward to having ugly pipes showing. Thomas advised that they encase these pipes on all these jobs. When the guys left the house was left spotless. You wouldn't have known they had been. All obsolete water tanks, boiler etc etc had been taken off site. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this very friendly, efficient and professional company.

Thomas & his team completed a gas installation for us in the middle of August 24. From our initial phone call he called on the day to discuss what was required and provided a full formal quote in writing that evening which covered everything including optional extras. Once we confirmed that we wished to proceed they worked around us for the most suitable date and completely fulfilled everything they said they would do. Our flooring was completely wrapped and protected and he had a full team of professional people working in the house throughout the day to have everything finished on the day. They were all very polite, courteous and respectful of our home to keep it clean and tidy. Our heating system was very old and they went above and beyond to get the whole system flushed clear to get every radiator working (even some that had never worked before). They kept a cleaning system running for a couple of days extra and called back each day to sure everything was working for us. The work ethic throughout the whole process from start to finish was excellent (from the whole team) and the after care service was very welcome. On top of all this, his quote was the most competitive from a number that we received and included much more than others were offering. More than happy to recommend to anyone. After meeting with various contractors, we decided on Thomas Hynes and his team, mainly because of the time he took on his quote and the way he personalised it to our particular needs, and the time he took to explain everything and answer the million questions we had. He wasn't the cheapest, but by no means was he the most expensive either. His quote did, however, meet all our needs and offered great value for money, considering what we wanted. In terms of the work carried out, we were delighted with the outcome. A great team of guys who were courteous, efficient and respected our home. Our oil burner needed replacing so we thought it was a good time to make the switch to gas.Thomas came to the house to check radiators and water pressure and talked us through the process. He even gave us stuff to temporarily stop the leak in the boiler at no cost, which gave us a few weeks of heat before the gas was fitted. Hynes were fantastic. The process on the day was actually much better than I thought it would be, the team worked quickly and tidied everything after themselves. No messing about from quote stage to completion (which is extremely hard to come across these days) Kept in regular contact and most importantly , showed up when they were supposed to!! From the first meeting Thomas was professional. He explained every detail of what would be done and once listening to other company's i knew him and his team were the perfect fit . Once i phoned to arrange a booking he worked for a date that suited me and my family. On the day thomas and his team arrive at the time that he said and layed down protective cloths not to damage any of my home even tho I have 2 young ones. LOL. From first thing that day Thomas and his team work non stop they must have been taking brakes one by one as you always seen and heard work going on. And was finished by the time they said ot would. Called them with a hearing issue and someone came out that evening. Our system was completely air locked so he said he'd send 2 men round on Saturday to fix. They came and got the heating working again. However the real plus was they were very clean at their work and cleaned up afterwards. Would definitely use again

My wife and I wanted to change our old oil boiler to gas fuelled heating for a while. On a drive home from work a Hynes Plumbing and Heating van was in front of me in Antrim so I took their phone number. Best decision ever. Thomas visited our home and provided excellent and frank advice and was professional, pleasant and friendly. On the day of installing the gas, Thomas and his colleagues showed up early, were very well prepared and organised and worked hard all day. The amount of work they completed was staggering and boy does it look well. They removed the large water tank from our attic, drained and removed the oil tank from outside and removed the old oil boiler from the garage, as well as installing water and gas pipes and a really useful radiator in our hot press cupboard. Thomas kept us informed throughout the process and left the place spotless. My wife and I couldnt be happier with the service provided; we now have instant hot water and the water pressure issues we had previously are now gone.

Hynes Plumbing & Heating came highly recommended and we were certainly not disappointed. When our heating broke down Thomas & his team replaced our ancient gas boiler system. We contacted him on Friday afternoon, he came out to see it on the Monday (bank holiday!) as we were away for the weekend, and the new system was installed on the Thursday of the same week! They took our water tanks out of the attic, removed our old tank boiler, removed our boiler from an outdoor shed, took our old thermostats and panels off the walls, and installed our new Worcester Boiler inside the hot-press. They arrived at 8.30am. When I arrived home form work just after 2pm there were three vans outside the house and the team inside working away. There were dust sheets and plastic covering all of our carpets...the place was spotless! They were away by 16.30 job complete! All we wanted was heat but if I'd known how much we would benefit from a new boiler I'd have replaced it years ago. Our home is warmer because the radiators stay warmer for longer after the heating has been switched off, we have a new portable wireless thermostat & control panel, our water pressure is FANTASTIC, and our instant hot water is a total game changer. We also have loads of storage space in the hot-press for the endless amounts of ironing! Our house is an old ex-housing executive property and I'm sure they had their work cut out for them that day. Well done guys, very much appreciated!

Thomas was very good at working out where to put my new gas boiler to replace my oil boiler, due to the bad position of the old one. His guys where neat and tidy and very careful around the house. They never stopped and had it done in one day. He arranged for my oil tank and old boiler to be scrapped. He also got a roof guy due to my flu having to be put in the flat garage roof. Even when Phoenix mucked up the paperwork for a money back scheme he was able to help with this as well. Thomas supplied a good quality Bosch Boiler and tidied up when finished. Recommend him for any heating system job at your home.

Very happy with the installation of my new gas boiler. The work was done quickly and efficiently and no mess in sight. I had applied for the affordable warmth scheme and thankfully was accepted for a grant. The guys made it very straight forward, helping to sort the paperwork and arrived to do the work a few days after the grant was accepted. They also took away the old boiler and left no mess. Fantastic service. I had the heating system flushed, some radiators replaced and the remaining ones thoroughly cleaned and checked using thermal imaging. When they left I had seven new radiators and a new gas heating system in and you wouldn't think that anyone was in my home. In September I decided to change from Oil to Gas Heating/Water and from a neighbours recommendation contacted Thomas @ Hynes Heating. This turned out to be one of the best calls I ever made as from our first meeting Thomas took control. He was extremely professional and demonstrated an extreme knowledge of his trade. He and his equally professional team arrived with me at 08:45 Thursday 01 December and by 4:00pm same day the old oil boiler and tanks etc were gone and a New Worcester Bosch 4000 Combi with all gas piping was installed, tested and running. By 3.15 we had a warm house, everything was left clean and tidy, and everything from the old oil heating system was gone. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

He provided a very detailed quote by email on the same date and was responsive to any follow up queries I had.
