Have used Gavin at GH Heating for a few years for our boiler. Earlier this week I had a problem with our water supply upstairs and rang GH on the off chance they could help. Gavin arrived first thing next morning and identified the problem, went for a new part and fitted and tested system before lunchtime that day. Gavin has been servicing my gas boiler since he had to replace it's 38 year old predecessor, after I called him out to attempt to get it working. I now have to protect the 10 year warranty with an annual service including a filter change. Gavin offers a very reliable service, with a reminder and invitation to book a time slot to maintain the service history. I am always happy with the service offered and Gavin is a very friendly engineer.

We were recommended to GH Heating and Gavin in particular by our neighbours who were impressed by him. Gavin arrived at the designated time and asked me to describe the problem. I told him we had only lukewarm water for washing etc. After examining the system he told me that the cool water was due to a faulty valve and showed me the area that had caused the problem and what to look for if the water cooled again. Gavin took particular care to explain things to me. I felt confident that I could phone him if I was at all concerned.

This was Gavin’s first visit to do an annual service on my now 12 year old oil fired boiler. My previous engineer finally fully retired and I had been a bit nervous about someone new. Gavin was our second opinion after a large and local boiler company did a crap service/check and only gave us the option of a new boiler or a £600 replacement part to fix it. I have been using G H Heating for many years now, for the annual service on my central heating system and for any emergencies. It’s always easy to book and I get useful reminders when the appointments are due. I’ve had lots of different things that needed doing and a lot of remedial work on pipe work and radiators last year. After Gavins recommendation, I put the heating on for 20 minutes, each Sunday all through the summer months. It doesn’t heat up the house enough to be a nuisance but it keeps the old system ticking over and flushed through, so it’s not a shock to the system every October when I put it on for the first time, and it’s all seized up! Very successful and no problems with clogged pipe work this year. Gavin is very professional and courteous, and gets on with the job efficiently and thoroughly. He always wears shoe protectors to keep carpets clean and a mask to protect me from viruses as I requested. I am more than happy to recommend this company and pleased to have someone local as well. I’ve recommended him to friends as well.

I contacted GH Heating Services in regards to a small leak - Gavin got us booked in quickly and efficiently. There was lots of communication with reminders via both email and text which reassured me that they would arrive when they said they would. After a short chat about the problem Gavin got on with the job. Upon finishing the area was kept clear and clean, and was informed invoice would be straight over to me following completion of job. Gavin from G H heating services ltd helped my elderly Mum the same afternoon I contacted him! This job wasn’t an easy one with many corroded old pipes, bad installation from 18 years ago lead to other issues but he was on it straight away! It’s been a while since I’ve experienced a service as good as GH Services. I rarely write reviews but Gavin absolutely deserves the best recommendation there is. When I called about a faulty boiler, Gavin offered to come round the same evening to have a look. Unfortunately I had plans, so we arranged it for the next day. Gavin gave me an hour time window and called to let me know when he was on his way, so I knew exactly what was happening. Gavin solved my issue using his vast expertise and completed the job in an hour. His advice, knowledge and aftercare are of the highest calibre, as well as his professionalism. Another important point to note is their IT system. From the moment you call, you are sent links to their extremely efficient and user friendly internal system, which sets up an account and takes all of your details. It guides you through process and at the end of the job allows you to pay through it and gives you a job report as well as the invoice. It made the whole process smooth and incredibly easy. Gh heating came yesterday to service my boiler. They were very efficient and completed the service provided all documentation . This was the third company I was expecting this year , the other two didn't turn up. Gh arrived at the time agreed and also sent reminders by text email and phoned before arriving

Gavin has been absolutely brilliant fixing our nightmare central heating system! We first contacted Gavin for what we originally thought was a simple thermostat replacement, which quickly opened a can of worms when Gavin discovered the heating system was wired completely wrong and likely had been since before we bought our house. Gavin was so thorough and helpful and even found us a local electrician to re-wire our system and attended the appointment with the electrician at the house to make sure everything was in order! Gavin answered our calls and messages every time the boiler and heating system threw up another curveball, and was friendly and polite each time he visited the house. Gavin is one highly professional individual he dealt with our commercial boilers when they broke down and was able to diagnose and rectify the issue accurately, he managed to create a temporary fix on the boilers to get them running, which he was then back within 24 hours to install the new parts.
