I used GH Heating services to install a new oil boiler, and was very satisfied with the service. I dealt with Gavin who was professional, courteous, and quick to respond to any questions. The installation was conducted within the expected timeframe, and the site was left in a clean and tidy condition. The new boiler is working as expected, and a warranty has been arranged with Gavin for 5 years to handle any product issues that may occur.

Have used Gavin at GH Heating for a few years for our boiler. Earlier this week I had a problem with our water supply upstairs and rang GH on the off chance they could help. Gavin arrived first thing next morning and identified the problem, went for a new part and fitted and tested system before lunchtime that day. Excellent service as always and would not hesitate to recommend him and his company.

We were recommended to GH Heating and Gavin in particular by our neighbours who were impressed by him. Gavin arrived at the designated time and asked me to describe the problem. I told him we had only lukewarm water for washing etc. After examining the system he told me that the cool water was due to a faulty valve and showed me the area that had caused the problem and what to look for if the water cooled again. Gavin took particular care to explain things to me. I felt confident that I could phone him if I was at all concerned.

Giving did a efficient service of my boiler. He went beyond this by fixing my loft hatch for me after it became detached. Excellent service!

Gavin provides a very efficient and reliable service at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Excellent service from communications to carrying out by boiler service . Highly recommended

All round excellent service! Gavin was straightforward, knowledgeable and communicative throughout. The issue: boiler was working intermittently every few days. Gavin was our second opinion after a large and local boiler company did a crap service/check and only gave us the option of a new boiler or a £600 replacement part to fix it. Gavin did the service/clean, and all the checks and gave us solid advice. Our boiler now works perfectly fine I would use GH Heating services again.

Gavin came to our rescue today as my dad drilled through a water pipe! He arrived quickly and got the job done promptly. I couldn’t have asked for a better service Thank you!

Gavin was excellent. Fixed the job at a very good price. He was friendly and a really nice guy who does the job and doesn't sting you in price. Will be using him from now on.

Very happy with services provided. Second time we have called upon GH Heating who have provided prompt, courteous and very professional services each time - once for an old Boiler service last year and recently for a radiator issue. Response and communications are second to none. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to everyone. Thank you GH Heating

Excellent service and communication

I have been using G H Heating for many years now, for the annual service on my central heating system and for any emergencies. It’s always easy to book and I get useful reminders when the appointments are due. I’ve had lots of different things that needed doing and a lot of remedial work on pipe work and radiators last year. After Gavins recommendation, I put the heating on for 20 minutes, each Sunday all through the summer months. It doesn’t heat up the house enough to be a nuisance but it keeps the old system ticking over and flushed through, so it’s not a shock to the system every October when I put it on for the first time, and it’s all seized up! Very successful and no problems with clogged pipe work this year. Gavin is very professional and courteous, and gets on with the job efficiently and thoroughly. He always wears shoe protectors to keep carpets clean and a mask to protect me from viruses as I requested. I am more than happy to recommend this company and pleased to have someone local as well. I’ve recommended him to friends as well.

Polite, knowledgeable and tidy. Thank you.

Fantastic service way above and beyond thank you so much definitively recommend

Called for an emergency call out. Extremely prompt and responsive in communication and arriving. Everything was confirmed via message and this system and invoicing payment system was extremely efficient and easy to use. They are friendly, knowledgeable, reassuring and dedicated. We were extremely happy and would absolutely use them again and recommend to others. Thank you again.

I contacted GH Heating Services in regards to a small leak - Gavin got us booked in quickly and efficiently. There was lots of communication with reminders via both email and text which reassured me that they would arrive when they said they would. After a short chat about the problem Gavin got on with the job. Upon finishing the area was kept clear and clean, and was informed invoice would be straight over to me following completion of job. Job done - sorted! Thanks! No pictures with this review as I let Gavin get on with his job and it would have been weird to take photos of him working!

Gavin has come to the rescue again! Fitted us in the same day, diagnosed and resolved the issue very quickly. Professional service, would definitely recommend!

Gavin from G H heating services ltd helped my elderly Mum the same afternoon I contacted him! This job wasn’t an easy one with many corroded old pipes, bad installation from 18 years ago lead to other issues but he was on it straight away! After almost a week my mum has the warmest bungalow she’s ever known!!! The job was explained and his services were excellent and explained all the way My Mum is very happy and will not use anyone else now Thank you so much 😊

It’s been a while since I’ve experienced a service as good as GH Services. I rarely write reviews but Gavin absolutely deserves the best recommendation there is. When I called about a faulty boiler, Gavin offered to come round the same evening to have a look. Unfortunately I had plans, so we arranged it for the next day. Gavin gave me an hour time window and called to let me know when he was on his way, so I knew exactly what was happening. Gavin solved my issue using his vast expertise and completed the job in an hour. His advice, knowledge and aftercare are of the highest calibre, as well as his professionalism. Another important point to note is their IT system. From the moment you call, you are sent links to their extremely efficient and user friendly internal system, which sets up an account and takes all of your details. It guides you through process and at the end of the job allows you to pay through it and gives you a job report as well as the invoice. It made the whole process smooth and incredibly easy. It’s mobile friendly too. I really can’t recommend enough. Thank you Gavin.

Great service, well priced and professional service from Gavin, thanks

2nd year using GH Heating to fix a small fault and carry out a service on our boiler. Again, faultless great service, friendly fitters and staff. Explains all work undertaken and fair prices. Best boiler repair/service in and around the Colchester area (after trying many others).

Gh heating came yesterday to service my boiler. They were very efficient and completed the service provided all documentation . This was the third company I was expecting this year , the other two didn't turn up. Gh arrived at the time agreed and also sent reminders by text email and phoned before arriving

Quick response to my initial enquiry - excellent communication throughout and my boiler is now good to go ready for winter. Highly recommend this local company and will be using them again

Gavin has been my gas engineer for the last 6 years! Always been prompt and professional. Always did a good job and booked on year on!

Highly recommend GH Heating Services Ltd. Gavin is very helpful and very good at what he does and all comes at a reasonable price. They keep you updated at all times with progress. Good reliable plumbing heating services are difficult to find. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic service, phoned in the evening as our boiler had stopped working and they were there first thing next morning, part ordered and fitted the next day, great communication, highly recommended.

Really impressed with Gavins services arrived within 24 hours of call to fix a boiler issue. Diagnosis and repair all within 2 hours at a very reasonable price. Nice to see an engineer actually carry spares rather than wait for days without heating for parts to arrive. Courteous and professional. Thoroughly recommended.

Gavin, is high efficient right from the visiting the site, reviewing scope of work, providing an accurate and comprehensive quote, booking work days and completing the job on time and cost estimate. Neat and clean pipe work. Guarantees and gas safe certificates issued swiftly after finishing the work .Gavin provides very good advice and transparent with pricing.

Replaced our boiler, friendly and reliable, 5 star service

GH Heating was able to fit my boiler service in at short notice. He was very professional and arrived on time also messaging me before hand to let me know when he was on his way. I highly recommend GH heating. Thank you again for servicing my boiler.

Gavin has been absolutely brilliant fixing our nightmare central heating system! We first contacted Gavin for what we originally thought was a simple thermostat replacement, which quickly opened a can of worms when Gavin discovered the heating system was wired completely wrong and likely had been since before we bought our house. Gavin was so thorough and helpful and even found us a local electrician to re-wire our system and attended the appointment with the electrician at the house to make sure everything was in order! Gavin answered our calls and messages every time the boiler and heating system threw up another curveball, and was friendly and polite each time he visited the house. Would 100% recommend GH Heating Services!

First class service. Came immediately even though it was late at night. Solved the problem straight away. Won’t have any hesitation to use again and will highly recommend. This is how to run a business! Thank you!

We were very impressed with Gavin's work and professionalism. All for a reasonable price. Would thoroughly recommend.

Gavin is one highly professional individual he dealt with our commercial boilers when they broke down and was able to diagnose and rectify the issue accurately, he managed to create a temporary fix on the boilers to get them running, which he was then back within 24 hours to install the new parts. If your looking for a quick turn around, accurate diagnoses, informative and polite engineer to take care of your heating and gas needs then GH heating services is who you need, Gavin will now continue to maintain and service our plant rooms at our warehouse and our offices too, I will also be having him service my own boiler at home aswell.

Very professional boiler service, good prices and efficient customer service. Highly recommend!

Fantastic service , Gavin fixed my boiler , very knowledgeable and knew exactly what the fault was straight away. Highly recommend.

Gav made excellent contact prior arriving to service my boiler today, considerate towards neighbours with parking, professional, left the room clean and tidy, did a great job with the service, very thorough, yet got on with the job, and explained any issues with me, paper work was punctual. Whole experience was flawless. ***Highly recommend Gavin Hawkins***

Gavin arrived when he said he would, rang before hand to confirm the time and completed our boiler problem investigation and service with no issues. He is clearly an experienced engineer who put my mind at ease when I was panicking about the boiler not working! Would be more then happy to recommend.
