C J O Plumbing & Heating is praised for prompt, professional and reassuring service, with clear quotes and reasonable pricing. Reviews commonly mention boiler installations and servicing, leak repairs, water pressure improvements, tanks and bathroom work, all carried out neatly with good communication and minimal disruption. Chris is described as knowledgeable, tidy and helpful, including when urgent support is needed.
I have been using Chris's service for about 5 years. During that time he has kept my boiler going and fixed a leak in my loft water tank. He always responds quickly to requests for help and has a very reassuring manner. Quotes for work are always detailed and clear and a good price. Recently I decided to have my bath replaced with a walk in shower which he did a great job with. The old boiler gave up and he was able to fit in a replacement at short notice prior to the shower work. Chris is an efficient and tidy worker and always happy to answer questions. I have been very happy to recommend him to friends.
Chris came over as agreed to investigate low water pressure at my home. very approachable and knowledgeable and recommended a fix that would allow for consistent pressure throughout the whole house. although the hardware was expensive, Chris gave a very reasonable quote to fit the system. the works were carried out as discussed and a very neat a tidy job was completed, resulting in an amazing transformation of the water pressure. I did have a water leak (not caused by Chris) the following evening as the pressure had built up in one of the toilet cisterns. I called Chris at 7am on the Saturday and he was round within the hr to help identify the leak which was wasn't as easy at it sounds. remained calm and professional, even after catching his fingers on carpet grippers, several times. Overall, a great guy to know how to resolve all of your plumbing issues. Thanks
CJO Plumbing have been a life saver. They installed our new boiler some years ago and we have been very happy with the installation and the reliability. On the rate occasions we have had to schedule a service call at short notice( usually as a result of my inability to use the Hive correctly!) they have always been able to accommodate our schedule at short notice. Professional, polite, knowledgeable and reliable. Excellent! Thank you.
Polite, tidy and good communications. Highly reccommend.

I would like to congratulate Chris Oglesby of the above firm for a superb service given in the installation of my combi boiler. Being without heat I rang on Monday lunchtime he arrived that afternoon and my combi boiler was installed on Saturday the same week with a minimum disturbance, follow up service superb, emails, telephone calls, same day response! I would recommend this company to anyone looking for the best, costs were kept to a minimum. Thank you Chris of CJO Plumbing & Heating Engineer Halstead. Excellent service by this company! We were without hot water all weekend. We were given Chris's number , he came to look at the job Sunday and by Monday afternoon we had a new tank fitted and hot water. He did a very neat job and cleaned up behind him, taking all rubbish away. Very reasonable price too, many thanks to Chris- Anne and Terry Barber- Great Yeldham
