I contacted MCK Plumbing and they came out the same day to inspect my faulty boiler. They pinpointed the problem as a failed expansion vessel, ordered the replacement part right away, and returned two days later to complete the repair. Clear explanations, fair pricing, and excellent workmanship. Couldn’t ask for better service. Will definitely use again.

If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. This is without a doubt the worst service we have ever received from any boiler company. We had our boiler serviced by MCK, and immediately after the service, the heating on our ground floor stopped working—despite everything functioning perfectly beforehand. It then took an entire week to get an engineer back out, only for us to be told that, coincidentally, the thermostat had “broken” right after the service on a system that is barely 2 years old. To make matters worse, even the engineer admitted on-site that everything was working fine prior to the service. Yet now, the company is refusing to take responsibility and is instead trying to charge us for a brand-new thermostat. Their explanation? That they couldn’t possibly have caused the issue—despite the timing being more than suspicious. We are now left without heating in our ground floor because of their incompetence and refusal to act responsibly. Avoid this company at all costs. Absolutely disgraceful service. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY — THEY ARE A SCAM.

I invited MCK to investigate a potential leak and advise on a way forward (quote). They arrived punctuality and I have no issue with the engineer who visually inspected the area with his phone and turned on a tap. The outcome was good news-no leak and probably just pipe expansion rubbing on adjacent joinery? The whole appointment lasted less than 30 minutes (being generous). A few days later I received an invoice for £72. I appealed to MCK suggesting this was excessive and disproportional, but apparently this is their minimum call out charge? Had it been mentioned on their website or during the booking process, I wouldn't have proceeded. I will leave it upto the readers to decide if they think this charge is reasonable or not, but either way, be aware there is a call out charge?

I had my boiler serviced by MCK , I had a call the day before to give me a times slot, Nigel turned up and serviced my boiler , he was very polite, knowledgeable and the job was left spotless. Thank you for a fantastic service, I would recommend this company in a heartbeat.

We had a replacement shower installation completed recently and are very happy with the result. Very efficient service using quality materials and professional installers.

Got MCK out for a boiler service and were very pleased with the service and price, then asked them out again to replace the thermostat valves on the radiators, only two were still working. We were again very pleased with the service, both quick and efficient and no mess, the plumber was very polite and professional, would definitely recommend them. Special mention to Jade who organised everything very efficiently.

Dont know what the services are like? But extreme aggressive driving in a company van deserves reporting to the police. To the driver on Colwick loop road Nottingham 5.30 pm 31.01.24. You are a disgrace.

5 stars for MCK Ltd. who replaced our boiler, hot water cylinder and several radiators. From the first contact with the office we have been impressed with their efficiency and helpfulness. After welcoming Sam at the start of the work, we took a short break for 4 days and left him to it. All his work was to a high standard with an eye to detail. It was also good to meet the electrician who simplified the wiring and enabled the boiler, pump, valves and time clock to be in the same vicinity, which is better. Our system is now much more efficient and our previously disappointing water pressure has now been transformed. Great job and highly recommended.

Excellent service from MCK Plumbing and Heating which I have used for almost 6 yrs now. Steve the engineer that came today was excellent and very professional, he explained and showed me everything he was doing and what the problem was, he just got on with the job and he cleaned up his mess and took the rubbish and broken parts with him to dispose. I would definitely recommend MCK for their services and I will be using them in the future to service my boiler when it is due.

Phoned Monday morning, engineer came Mon afternoon and replaced faulty diverter valve, boiler all working as it should. quick efficient service by friendly tidy engineer, will definitely use MCK again.

Have just been passed and cut up at Bingham by one of your vans. Extremely dangerous driving which I have on dash cam. This footage has now been forwarded onto Notts police. Hopefully your plumbing skills are better than your driving capabilities.

MCK Plumbing & Heating have recently installed a new boiler in my house. This was a big job, as it needed moving upstairs and new pipe work, a flue in the roof etc. From start to finish, the service was excellent. Their administrator, Jade, is really friendly, efficient and easy to contact via phone or email. The installation engineer, Steve, was friendly and professional, taking care of my home as if it was his own. There was minimal disruption and mess, and even my builder friend thinks the price was fair. Thank you MCK Plumbing, definitely 5 stars from me!

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with MCK fitting a new small bathroom. Day 1 they forgot to order the skip so we had a mess down the side of the house, an oversight that can happen but that was just the start of the nightmare. Plasterer walked out because the plaster boarding was so bad it had to be done again then they tried to use floor leveller 3 times and each time made things worse to the point their own plumber said it was impossible to fit the bath. In the end had to cancel the work and find someone else to repair the floor and finish the job all at extra cost to us. We had no contact from MCK for over a week and they simply left us in a mess. 5 weeks it has taken to get our bathroom back. The only good work was done initially by the plumber so I'm afraid I couldn't recommend them. You just wish these days that decency, fairness and pride in your work still existed, hopefully future customers will have a better experience.

I had a plumbing problem for several years and was advised that a lot of work was needed to solve the problem involving installing a new boiler which would be very costly. I decided to have an immersion heater installed. Sam suggested trying to resolve the heating problem instead, which is what I had wanted for some time. This was done promptly and efficiently by an excellent plumber who worked out the best way for me. This also saved me a substantial amount of money. Highly recommend this company.

We are not accustomed to writing unsolicited letters of commendation but feel compelled to do so after the service received from Steven Waters. Steven has undertaken work on our central heating system on three occasions and he has impressed us each time with the standard of his work, he behaves with total professionalism, explained what he was doing and any options there may be. He was diligent in his work, polite and an ambassador for the company's name and reputation. We will not hesitate to recommend Steven and MCK to friends and will most certainly be a repeat customer for future services and any repairs that may be needed.

MCK installed a new radiator for us in our en suite, from the moment we booked, Jade is always very helpful and professional, the plumber that installed our radiator was very professional and did a good job, left the area very tidy. we also use MCK for our water cylinder servicing.

I had a week of stress last week with waiting for the insurance plumber to repair my boiler with no joy. The insurance company sent 4 different engineers and they still did not repair my boiler. I cancelled the insurance and called MCK on the 06/09/2021 to repair my boiler. I found the company very helpful. The engineer came out on the same day . He had a thorough look at my boiler and identified l needed a new pump. The pump was replaced on Wednesday 08/09/2021. My boiler is now working . The plumber called Sam was very helpful and checked my boiler thoroughly before he left. I have always found this company professional, helpful and effecient. They let me know how much the work is going to cost before they do the repair. I would definitely recommend this company to my family and friends. Keep up the good work MCK you are a great asset.☺️

The work comprised of the installation of an electric boiler and central heating system. Steven the fitter was excellent throughout. He was punctual, polite and diligent and completed the work with the minimum disruption possible. We were more than satisfied with his work from start to finish.

We contacted MCK after being highly recommended, and we were not disappointed. We had a new boiler installed and a significant upgrade to our hot water system. Martin came out to our property and advised us on what we required to improve the efficiency of our aging boiler and upgrade our low pressure hot water system. After a couple of days we received a quotation of which we accepted and we agreed a start date. Th installation went smooth and the results are 100% brilliant, and bang on budget. Major pump unit failed and parts not readily available. Called MCK, engineer was there first thing next day and replaced faulty pump and had system working in a couple of hours, Brilliant service would definitely recommend. First class!

All very easy and straight forward. Booking with Jade was good, date arranged and engineer (Steve) came at the agreed date and on time. Steve was very good to have in the house. Bill prompt and reasonable. Very happy.

MCK helped us out of a jam last year and came up trumps again when our boiler needed replacing. Professional throughout, great service and would highly recommend. Clean and tidy, even vacuuming where the drop clothes had been used!

When driving home after a night shift one of the vans from this company nearly ran us off the road. Had he been driving any closer to us he would have been in the boot and I dread to think what would have happened should we have had to brake suddenly. I wrote them an email of complaint and provided the registration number of the vehicle but they did not even have the decency to respond. Absolutely unprofessional.

Could not repair boiler that they supplied and fitted 6 years ago. Perfectly good and prompt response time, which is great, but I was expecting them to be able to diagnose and repair the boiler. Unfortunately after 3 visits they were unable to identify the reason for the loss of pressure and no further action was proposed so I'm still topping it up every 2-5 days. Based solely on results, in this instance, it's just one star.

MCK have been great, first used about two years ago and have used since for plumbing and heating. Always willing to help and quick on call outs.

The MCK team are extremely professional, and do a thorough quality job. This is now the second time that I have used the team. Over priced, unreliable. Office staff will lie about why the plumber hasn’t turned up! Deliberately overcharge for parts. Enough said, but I could say so much more!!!
