J Smith Maintenance Services

Jeremy did a great job in surgery, fitting some accessories onto the walls. He was very efficient and reasonable price. Would definitely use Jeremy again and recommend him to others. Thank Jeremy.

I can’t recommend Jeremy highly enough. He has carried out a huge amount of work across my properties, including painting and decorating, installing a new garden fence, rubbish clearance, tiling, and fitting blinds and curtains. Every job, big or small, has been completed to an excellent standard. Jeremy is incredibly accommodating and always a pleasure to deal with. He’s reliable, friendly, and takes real pride in his work. On top of all that, his prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and care he puts into every task. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, hardworking, and skilled, Jeremy is absolutely the person to call. I’m delighted with everything he’s done and will definitely be using him again.

Very professional and fair pricing. Happy with the service and will continue to use.

Jeremy has already helped me complete two projects so far, one to redecorate the entire apartment and one to do some works in my house. From skirting boards, plastering to wall painting, Jeremy is capable of completing all kinds of works, my wife is very happy with the skirting boards fitted. Would recommendate him to everyone.

Reliable and recommended Jeremy did a full redecoration of our flat after tenancy ended. It was done to a good standard, even without us being able to be there to check things over

ceiling hooks fitting I wanted to give it a few months before reviewing as the ceiling hooks had to be re-fitted the first time. Jeremy was very helpful with fixing the problem the first time and after months of both my autistic children using their swings violently every single day, the ceiling hooks are still as good as new.

Replace rusted corner bead on brick 50cm in bathroom and reskim Steel cornerbead on bathroom wall had rusted leading to cracked plaster and displaced tiles. Tiles and bead removed by myself prior to the JS arriving. Job was plastic replacement bead used at my request, plaster/skim corner and tiles replaced. Job was completed with plaster not smoothed or joined in line with rest of wall, the bead used was too large at 3mm. The bead was extended down behind the tiles and tiles attached with BT1. Job left with me to grout it unexpectedly. Tiles no longer aligned due to beading and they protruded from the wall. Job paid for in full £120 as adequate but quality and finish less than expected. We found Jeremy to be very professional; he resolved a mouse problem we have been dealing with for several months. After going through several other pest control service providers from our rental agency that only laid down bait and refused to do any other services, Jeremy listened to all our concerns and addressed all the problems; laying bait, patching up all entrance holes and even fixing damage that the previous pest control company caused to our kitchen cabinets. He left the kitchen very tidy after doing all the work and returned to ensure the problem was resolved. He was punctual, polite and respectful. Would recommend him to friends.

Jeremy went above and beyond to help us sort out our garden door which had a attempted break in.Being silly enough to walk into b and q and get the wrong size i rang Jeremy (recommended ) he came out to fit it and seeing it was the wrong size gladly helped me put it in the back of the car and took me back to get the right one . We couldn’t get the right size so he had a glass and dog flap made and came and fitted it as soon as he got it (top notch) Can’t thank him enough!

Asked Jeremy to fit a replacement toilet syphon/flush unit in my downstairs toilet. Jeremy was punctual, completing the job to my satisfaction, despite unexpected problems which he overcome. Thanks again Jeremy. I would have no hesitation in using or indeed recommending Jeremy for similar or other work 👍

Jeremy is reliable, polite, always on time and professional in the maintenance services he carries out. He ensures everything is tidy and clean following his work. He goes out of his way to help as much as he can. Highly recommended!
