Chad came to fix a broken window hinge for me, and did a great job and came out quicky. The window has been stiff since I moved in and now it feels like new! Professional and easy to communicate with and helped me with swapping a door around, fit new floor thresholds and fitting a kitchen door on an integrated washing machine. Wonderful service! We needed both hinges replaced on a wooden window frame. Due to a cancellation, Chad was able to fit us in earlier than originally booked. He did an amazing job in difficult circumstances, (the window in question is rather high and it was a very hot day.) we would fully recommend and we will use Handyman in Bristol for any further jobs.

Had a problem with poorly fitted window aprons at our flat for years, ever since we moved in. They looked bad, were draughty and were an entry point for mice but we struggled to get them sorted. Our guy was one of only a few people who responded to help, communicated with us well on WhatsApp and did a good quality job for a very fair price. We should have contacted him sooner! Top guy.

called out to have a look at our door, we needed a temporary fix to make it easier to open and close whilst we wait for a new one. did what he could but then said it wasn’t fixable and left, now the door is even worse than it was before. i don’t know what he’s done but i’m so disappointed.

I booked Chad to fix some mechanisms on a double glazed windows. Having arranged to leave the keys with a neighbour, by the time i'd remembered he was due at the job and checked all ok - Chad had finished the work and sorted out the the problem. Definitely use again when needed.

Chad fitted some shelves in two of our bedrooms and added some brackets to guttering which had been leaking. The shelves look great, and the gutters haven't leaked in the recent rain. The quality of Chad's work was excellent, and he was clean and tidy and punctual, and his communication was good. I'd definitely use Handyman in Bristol again, and would recommend.

Organised doors to be fitted, Monday came and they hadn’t turned up but let me know that van was broken- fine, that can’t be helped, so organised for them to come the next Monday. I take more time off work, and this time they don’t even bother to let me know they’re not coming, they just didn’t bother turning up at all. I got in contact to ask when they’d be arriving that day but it went completely ignored. Still not had any contact to even apologise for this. Now I have to organise these doors to be fitted by someone else and take even more time off work because of this company’s unprofessionalism.

Door repair

Chad did a very good job putting up a couple of large mirrors, shelves & a kitchen blind- came equipped to keep the place clean & tidy up which in my recent experience lots don’t bother! Chad was also keen to get a good aesthetic result rather than just saying ‘good enough’- which again like my other recent experiences this is a refreshing approach to a job! Very quick response time & quick availability which is fab!

Chad is a lovely and professional guy who is very good at what he does. He hung two mirrors for us, one of which was extremely heavy and Victorian, and they look fantastic. He also sorted a radiator that had dropped from its mounts and had been bugging me for ages. Quick, efficient, prompt, personable and very good at what he does. Highly recommended!!

I'm a landlord. I've been looking for a reliable handyman for 7 years. Chad was super responsibe to my needs, required little to no direction; he just did the work, took initiative and did what needed doing. As I'm not able to attend the sight and give direction he's a god send.

Had a call from my tenant about a leak from a service valve in WC on Friday when I was away on holiday. Googled handyman and Whatsapped Chad on Saturday evening. Replied on Sunday and problem fixed on Monday morning. Very professional, courteous and punctual.
