Looked up.on check a trader for handyman. Found Alex, contacted him, he came to look at the job, laying a wooden floor in my kitchen. He was very pleasant, a quick worker and after completion there were enough planks to fit a wooden floor in my bathroom. So he came another day to fit that. He is very tidy and took the rubbish away which was very helpful as I live in a ground floor flat and I am currently disabled at the moment so would have been impossible to dispose of any rubbish. I Will definitely be using Alex again.

Had a quote from Alex thought would be an excellent choice for my shed base ! How wrong was I paid him for sand/ cement too £400 on 7 th January for work to commence on February 20 th at 8 am on the day 8 am came & went 1030 after 3 calls ignored finally Alex & friend came to my home with no comment about why they were late only that he had to pick up his friend to help him no name given of this friend given they took up my decking left it in my garden dug up the soil left in my garden finally the items arrived OMG what a headache that was as it was left outside my neighbors house 2 massive sand bags with cement then they left saying they would be back following day following day arrived Alex different friend to help OMG my garden look worse with mess left cement up my fencing where shed base was l ask them to put rubbish outside for it was been collected as Alex hasn’t got a van or dispose licence! I did ask him also to put up my new sheds I got a quote which I was told whole price was on the quote how wrong was I so on Thursday/Friday had family/friends check out his work as I was disappointed with it to be told by 4 different people it was a disgrace how dare he been charging me £700 for this mess so I called him several times to finally get a answer on Saturday morning ask him to come & look at the mess was left definitely saw a different Alex making threats about smacking the shed base up which I said I’ve paid for materials he had a very negative response to me my carer arrived as it was her shift time she ask some questions she received a few swear word voice raised to her !😡😡😡🤬I ask Alex to come into the front of my property to speak to him to calm him down but all I got was the same negative with threats about getting his friends around to smash the shed base up all I wanted was what he should me on his Alex handy man site of the shed base but it was a horrible situation which caused me distress to be bullied by Alex to pay him I will never use Alex Handy man ever again he’s a bully his work is a disgrace I’m hoping that no one else has the same experience as 68 year old woman that I had
Aggressive only asked for a quote and for a shed base it was unprofessionally done not happy at all especially having to pay out for the problem to be sorted and all of this to an old age pensioner shameful and the police have been notified

Alex did a fantastic job painting our room and building our new wardrobes. We honestly can't recommend him highly enough. Not only is his workmanship excellent, but he's also a genuinely nice guy, easy to work with and professional throughout. His pricing was very fair and transparent. There were no unexpected changes or “adjustments to accommodate” along the way, just a clear, agreed price that stayed exactly as quoted. We’re already planning to have Alex back for future projects.

Alex tackled a couple of deep clean projects for me, he does a great job, excellent attention to detail.
Alex charged £180 for installing 3 ventilation bricks and sealed a ventilation brick with foams on Monday 26 August 2024. I paid him the same day (as I usually do). Some of the filling dropped off in two days on Wednesday 28 2024. I beseeched him to fix it. He didn’t show up, so far (15/09/2024).
Friendly, helpfull and did a good job. What more can you ask for. He fitted a new extractor fan for me in the downstairs toilet after it started making a horrendous noise. Good job, good price 👍

I have recently had quite a few experiences of different tradesmen cancelling on me last minute and letting me down, so when Alex arrived early I was impressed straight away! I was also impressed at his quick responses by email, he was a reliably good communicator throughout our correspondence. He only did a small job for me of repairing our broken curtain rail fixtures but he carried out the work with great pride and professionalism. They are both now very straight and securely fixed to the wall. Would recommend his services which are also good value.

Alex was with us for two weeks soon after we moved in to our new house. We needed a lot doing and under time pressure. Alex completed every task we asked him to do to the very highest quality and with the upmost care. It felt like Alex cared more about the finished product than we did at times! He takes great pride in his work and checks in with us to make sure we are happy with the progress he is making. Alex painted our Living Room, Garage Gym and Office beautifully - the preparation he took before doing so was really impressive; he covered everything with dust sheets, filled cracks and indentations first, primed the walls and then put several coats of paint on the walls to ensure we got the depth of colour we were after. He also painted the skirting and our doors. The Main Bedroom was the biggest job of all. We had a large walk in wardrobe that we no longer wanted - he knocked the wardrobe down, plastered the walls, replaced the coving, skirting and floorboards and primed and repainted the whole room. The results were utterly stunning and we were delighted. Alex hung mirrors for us, repaired curtain poles and general final jobs we needed doing. We will be asking Alex to help us with the rest of our renovation next year. Alex is courteous, meticulous, polite, helpful, hard working, honest, talented and funny. THE BEST HANDYMAN IN THE WORLD.

Alex constructed my garden cabin, including laying a concrete base and completing all elements of the construction, floor, roof, insulation panels etc. The work was done to a very high quality, and Alex was very friendly and always arrived when he said he was. Alex came today to change the pump on our Mspa, he was on time and polite and very tidy, the job only took him about 10/15 minutes and our mspa now works again , Thank you Alex, I have very.happy children, He really is good at what he does and very reasonable rates, I would definitely recommend Alex and use him for future repair jobs again.
