SW Handyman Services

Really efficient service. Excellent quality and care. Really friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Peter did a great job restoring our wooden garden seat and painting the shed. Such a thorough job at a very reasonable price. Will certainly use his services again. Great that he is local to Stoke Gifford too.

Peter arrived on time and completed the job quickly and efficiently. His work was clean and tidy, and I was really impressed. I needed two doors shaved down and rehung, and Peter handled it without any issues. I’d be more than happy to have him back for other jobs, I’m already making a list! Thanks, Peter.

Peter completed several jobs in and around our house, such as jet washing and restoring our patio, painting exterior walls, fitting a porch light, re-sealing around window frames, cementing in a new rotary airer in the garden, readjusting an interior door and curtain rails, some carpentry and replacing the cat flap. All work was completed professionally, to a very high standard. Communication was easy and prompt. Peter is really friendly and very tidy, he removed all the waste and cleaned up. I'd definitely recommend Peter, he's very skilled and knowledgeable.

Great service by Peter: quick, efficient and punctual. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic workmanship from this guy today. Will definitely be my to go from now on. Fair price for a excellent job.

I'm very pleased to have discovered S W Handyman Services. I have had such difficulties in the past finding people to do jobs in the house. Peter was so helpful and thorough and took enormous trouble to sort out problems. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt every care had been taken. Nothing was rushed and I'm very pleased with the results. It's a relief to know I have their number for the future. Such a nice man too!

Peter and his team have helped us on a number of jobs and have been great. These have ranged from putting up shelves, flat screen tvs and a drying rack (all situations where I didn’t want to rely on my own DIY) to electricals and jet washing/painting. They are a pleasure to work with and good value too.

Peter did a brilliant job installing a new cooker hob extractor fan unit for me. Well pleased. Thank you!!!

Peter has done three jobs for me and all done to amazing standards. The first was installing a fireplace, the second installing a mirror and the third fixing a door. He is very polite and friendly and I really would recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable handyman!

We used SW Handyman Services in Bristol for removing flooring in our hallway and kitchen. Peter was professional, punctual and very tidy. The job was completed to a high standard. Highly recommend if you need a reliable handyman in Bristol

They provided an excellent fitting service and a great insight for future works needed.

Very helpful, proffesional and honest services. Will definitely reach out again when we need work done. Thank you

Never used a “handyman” before but just didn’t have the time to get an ever-piling-up list of jobs done. A neighbour recommended Peter so we went for it… Peter and his team redecorated my boy’s room, this involved making good some ropey old walls and skirting, replacing a water damaged window sill (Peter identified that the windows had never been properly sealed!?!) and then painting it all. All was executed as if he were looking after his own home, faultless! Whilst he was here he also managed to fix several radiators (a job that has been hanging over me for sometime!). We will be redecorating our spare room in the spring and Peter will be called again. Big thanks 🙏

What a brilliant company - kindly rearranged when I had an unexpected migraine, friendly, professional, clean, extremely knowledgeable, and absolutely chef’s kiss work. Very, very happy with our new bathroom floor - can’t stop going to look at it! Make sure you pay businesses like this (smaller side) on time; cash flow keeps them afloat.

I recently had Peter come to fit a wardrobe, a toilet cabinet, and CCTV points around my house, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. He was respectful, punctual, and brought a fantastic sense of humour that made the whole experience enjoyable. What really stood out was how he went the extra mile, thinking outside the box to sort out issues and making sure everything was done to a high standard. His colleague Peter was just as reliable and skilled. Together, they made a brilliant team. It’s rare to find tradesmen who combine professionalism with such a positive attitude, but these two nailed it. I’d definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price, and I’ll be using them again in the future.

I can not recommend Vytautas highly enough, from my first correspondence with him, to his prompt replying, and his actual work all faultless, very diligent and has very high standards, his attention to detail is second to none. My only concern is other people contacting him for work and he’ll be too busy when I next need him.

Vytautas and Peter did a brilliant job, worked hard in the baking sun. Would recommend them to everyone, and will use them again when needed. A great job at a great price. Thank you both once again.

SW Handyman Services was highly recommended to me by my daughter. I contacted Peter in April and provided details of some small jobs, which included assembly of bedside cabinet, picture hanging, re-fitting bathroom blind and re-fitting plinth in kitchen. Peter completed the jobs two days after my initial contact. In May SW Handyman Services completed jobs as follows: Removed flaking paint and prepared area for painting at front of house, including some re-plastering; painting of stonework and also painting the stonework around the front door. Removed a few worn bricks and mortar on the front wall and layed approximately 20 bricks. Also re-plastering and painting of small area on external wall. Additionally, repair completed on crack to the front wall. Supply and fit front and end bath panels, which included fitting framework for the new panels. Prior to ordering bath panels, Peter provided photos and I was able to select colour which is excellent match to slate tiles in bathroom. Also removal of the old bath panels. Additionally, re-fit to one spot light in bathroom was completed. In June SW Handyman Services completed job as follows: Supply all materials and treat external walls (rear exterior) with algae remover; pressure wash the walls; repair cracks on the three external walls; paint external walls. The site was cleaned on completion of the work. My sincere thanks and appreciation to Peter and his colleagues for the excellent standard of work completed on all jobs and for the very helpful and timely communication in recent months. Sharon

Installed a pull up bar for me in my home. Ran into a few issues but found a way to complete the job to a good standard. Very happy with the results and a very nice and friendly guy too. Would recommend to anyone looking for a handyman.

Peter was very helpful during his pre-visit. He works meticulously and to a very high standard. We recommend him very highly!

We highly recommend SW Handyman Services. We approached them a few weeks aho with some general enquiries to start with. Peter at SW responded to our enquiries, gave us a lot of useful advice and explain to us in a detail what the jobs would involve. Peter is a hard-working, multi-skilled professional and a perfect communicator. He ensures that the job is completed to the highest standards and always goes an extra mile to make sure people are happy. We're very happy with SW Handyman Servies, will be using their services again and recommend them to our friends and cooworkers.

Peter was incredibly responsive, kind and quickly available. My father in law said he was very tidy and efficient. We will definitely hire him again. Thank you Peter.

I recently asked SW handyman services to repair a door handle, and I’m very pleased with the results. The handle now works perfectly, and the door no longer scrapes on the floor. He arrived promptly, worked efficiently, and delivered exactly what was needed. I’d happily use his services again!

Efficient and friendly. Will use again!

Peter and his team were our knights in shining armour after we were recently let down by a local "firm," who turned out to be cowboy builders. Peter came and assessed the damage to our wall, which had been exposed to the elements, along with the shoddy work carried out by the previous "builders." He was thorough and professional throughout, even coming at short notice over the weekend. Peter was clear and concise in his approach, offering different options on how to tackle the issue and providing detailed costings. Understanding the severity of our situation, he prioritized jobs and resources to ensure work could continue on our property. The dedication, professionalism, and quality of work were incredible, and they made sure the site was clean at the end of each day. I'm kicking myself for not reaching out to Peter sooner, instead of going through the stress and hassle caused by the cowboy builders before him. Going forward, we will not use anyone other than Peter for any work on our property. Thanks, Peter, for everything you have done.

Work was done swiftly, efficiently and to a high standard. I’d definitely use SW Handyman Services again.

Finding a good handyman in Bristol is increasingly getting harder, so finding Peter online has been a pleasure! I first made contact last year to enquire about painting my bathroom. He visited the same day and provided a quote that evening and I couldn’t be happier with the result. I now have a bathroom that I enjoy being in and is so much easier to clean due to the workmanship and products used. Today Peter and his colleague completed the painting of my hallway, stairs and landing including walls, ceilings, skirting and door frames. The whole area has been given a much needed uplift and looks fantastic. Thank you so much to you both. If you are looking for a handyman do not hesitate to give Peter a call and I will definitely be in touch in the future.

SW Handyman has done a few different projects in my house. From painting, laying floor, putting up shelves and running complex trunking to run ethernet cable around the house. Work is always done quickly and professionally, with everything back to how it was afterwards. Pricing is fair and he is happy to give you his honest opinion which I really appreciated. Will be using them again in the future for sure!

Super responsive. Very positive outlook on any problem. Knowledgeable and professional. They actually get back to you, they turn up when they say they’re going to, and they do what they said they would - and they don’t try to rip you off. Sadly many tradesmen in the UK have given the good ones a bad reputation. These are the good guys. Thank you! (I didn’t want to post a review as I want them to myself!)

I contacted the top 5 results on google for handyman in Bristol when I needed a new blind fitting. I decided to move ahead with Peter as he was the most polite on the phone, he asked lots of good questions before quoting and made me feel very comfortable that he was trustworthy. I’m pleased to report that he arrived on time and was very friendly! I can be a bit of a perfectionist at times and I was very happy to see that Peter fit our blinds perfectly with the right spacing around the edges. He tidied up after himself and overall was very pleasant to have in the house. I’ve saved his number and he will certainly be my first port of call next time I need some help with a job.

Peter did an excellent job! He was efficient and hard-working. I would definitely recommend him to friends and colleagues.

Peter was really helpful with the handful of house jobs I requested. He was very patient, punctual and polite. Everything was completed to a high standard. I would highly recommend!

I am really appreciative of the work done refelting my shed roof. Peter and Tom were both courteous and efficientt. The work was done in a timely manner and the extra attention to detail makes the roof better than new. Thank you very much.

I recently had the pleasure of hiring SW Handyman to fix my roof, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Their quick response time and professionalism were impressive. The team quickly located and sorted the issue with utmost efficiency. They exhibited a high level of cleanliness, showing great respect for my property. Not only were they polite, but they also left the place spotless after completing the job. I highly recommend SW Handyman for their outstanding service and attention to detail.

Great service and high quality work from Peter at SW Handyman Services when he mounted a 65” TV for us on a wall bracket and hung some very large (and difficult to hang) mirrors. We would definitely recommend Peter and would use him again in the future if/when we need some more jobs doing around the house.

Peter did a couple of jobs for us: decorating our living room and installing a new back gate. Peter was very professional and communicative, talking us through the process and any variations to his initial estimate, and he and his team did a great job: we're very happy with the finished product.

Really happy with the work carried out on our house, electrics and decorating done very promptly and of very high quality.

Very thorough and ensured the work was done to the highest standard. Very happy with the results

Great guys. I hired them several times - once to fix and plaster over the holes in the wall, and once to repaint the hall, and both times they were supper effective, clean and fast with their work. I really reccomend hiring Vytautas and his team.

We approached Peter to carry out some repairs on our rental property. Peter was quick to respond and all appointments were booked in a timely manner and dealt with professionally. Would recommend!

My job was to remove an old rotten wooden window frame and replace it with new, the window wasn't a standard size so had to be made to measure so to speak. From my first phone call Peter kept intouch, turned up on time and did a great job I would definitely recommend SW Handyman services

Perfect service - this was the first time I used a handyman service and I should have done it sooner! Great quality and professionalism - tv and bracket mounted onto the wall, shelves put up and other smaller wall fixtures. My home office now has character and a personal touch that I was wishing for! I will certainly be using their service again.

Peter and his team have just completed a redecoration of our entire house in two weeks. There was some additional work identified during the process which was no issue to them and our house now looks as good as new. There were always on time and polite and have carried out the work to an exacting and high standard. I highly recommend them and will use them again for any works that we need doing in the future.

Impeccable from start to finish. Right on time, professional, tidy, clear communication. The quality of work is outstanding, we'll definitely be asking for your help again.

Extremely professional and efficient work. We have used Vytautas services few times now, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good handyman 👨‍🔧. Thank you.

The work was carried out to a high standard and the work areas left clean and tidy. I am about to book further work with them.

We have used Peter twice now. On the 1st occasion Peter stopped our doors catching on our new carpet. Peter did excellent work and left everywhere clean and tidy. Peter then returned to fix our leaky guttering. Again both he and his mate did an excellent job. I would not hesitate to use Peter again and would happily recommend him.

Peter is an outstanding handyman. Clean, polite, quiet, expert, friendly and efficient. I'd employ him any time. I highly recommend him.

Work was done diligently to a high standard. Very satisfied.

Thank you for prompt and high quality work done in renewing fence panels

Vytautas did a fantastic job putting up a cast iron curtain pole that had been installed a few years before by a different handyman service but had fallen off the wall. He also fixed a cupboard door that wasn't shutting properly and pulled up and removed some fenceposts and lengths of fencing. I was very anxious about the curtain pole because my dog likes to lie underneath but Vytautas' professional and thorough approach set my mind at ease. He was very concerned that everything would be just right. He was very polite, friendly, hard working and clean - actually left the area he was working on cleaner than it was before! And, as a bonus, he was super friendly to my large, excitable dog. I would not hesitate to recommend him and will definitely call on him if I need anything else.

Vytautas did a whole range of jobs around our new home, painting, mounting blinds, curtain rails, fitting skirting, fitting hooks and peg boards in the garage, fixing points for art work, pointing on some cobbles and some silicon sealant. He is reliable, patient, tidy and considerate. His work is a high standard and at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend without hesitation and will definitely use him in the future.

The team did exactly what we asked them to do: put together a large flatpack wardrobe, put up a coat rack, decorative piece and large mirror. They were friendly and we are very happy with their work. Will definitely go with them again if we need more work done :)

Peter was great to deal with and very clear in all communications. He turned up on time, was very friendly, professional - we’re really pleased with the result and would not hesitate to employ his services again

Really happy with the work Vytautas did on my property. He was professional, skillful and extremely reliable. The work was done competently and to a very high standard. I would recommend him and will be my first port of call for any works.

Polite approachable, lovely job. Turned up on time to quote and on day. All completed very well.

I am extremely happy with the amazing job done by SW handyman services. Vytautas is the definition of professionalism: very reliable, skilful and competent, honest, hard-working, perfectionist and a warm and friendly person. He and his colleague deserve more than 5 stars. I would highly recommend this service to everyone!

Very prompt in replying to job requested, very nice man, reasonable price, work completed to a good standard, would use him again

Amazing service. Came right on time and got the job done. Was really friendly and helpful. I will recommend this service. First point of call for any building works.

Thank you for high quality job. Always a pleasure to recommend someone with professional skills

Reliable, quality and timely... highly recommended

Very polite man and job done to a high standard. Would recommend to anyone.
