I've used Milton Glass for years and always been very pleased. The most recent experience involves restoration of a barn conversion which had a blown double glazed unit at a third storey level. The pane was large (almost 4 ft. x 5 ft), shaped as an irregular trapezoid. I delivered a sized template to Nick at the Purbrook shop and 2 days later collected the pane. What turnaround, I couldn't believe how speedy this was. The fit was perfect. I cannot rate this company highly enough, courteous, helpful and really good price. Thank you so much, I shall recommend your services to anyone who needs glazing!

We had Milton Glass in yesterday to replace 8 windows, just the glass, not the frames, but I would thoroughly recommend them, and definitely use them in the future. Thankyou to Nick and all at Milton Glass in Widley. I needed a large mirror made to measure, to fit an awkward space at the top of a staircase. Nick made the whole process from start to finish an absolute breeze. Friendly, approachable, extremely knowledgeable and professional. I had no hesitations in asking questions to Nick, or the team that came to fit. I had confidence that what was being ordered was what I had asked for, yet guided by their expertise. Nick and the fitters are clearly very skilled at what they do and take pride In thier work, not leaving until they were happy with the final result! I would not hesitate to use them again and would 100% recommend them to anyone.

What a great service im doing some DIY putting up mirror tiles and needed them cut , phoned up was told to bring them over no trouble at all fantastic service nothing to big (or in my case to small ) had to go back two or there times as there was some tiny bits to fit well recomend.

After visiting the Milton Glass shop we arranged for a home visit for my 82 year old mum to discuss a new porch composite door and frame. We were reassured by the person in store that the doors were all made in the uk so if there were any issues it would not be a problem. Their representative visited the house and we spent a long time with him discussing and detailing our requirements. Design all decided we asked for a quote and a sample of the colour to enable us to match the masonry paint. Over two weeks passed and we had heard nothing so rang to be told they had just received the sample and someone would drop it round soon. Still no quote either which was also chased. Eventually after another phone call we received a quote, which we had no issue with, but still no colour sample. Another week passed and after yet another phone call we were told the fitters would call to do the final measurements and they would bring the colour sample with them. Six weeks after the initial consultation the fitters arrived and started to discuss what design we wanted! We explained that this had all been decided and written down by their representative on the initial visit. The bald fitter then became quite aggressive in his manner towards me and said well we need to go through it again. We were then told by him that we could not have what we had ordered as it came from abroad and had to compromise. He also then stated that the quote we had been given was wrong and it would be a lot more money if we wanted the coloured frame that we had originally decided on. I said I felt this was really unprofessional and he told us to take our business elsewhere if we didn’t like it! My poor 82 year old mum was beside herself she had waited six weeks for this! I walked away into the lounge to try and diffuse the situation as I was concerned about the bald fitters aggressive manner towards me and also the affect it was having on my mum. The fitter then came into the lounge, without invitation, to continue having his say. Whilst the bald fitter was having his say to me the other fitter actually apologised to my mum for his colleagues behaviour. The fitters eventually left and mum and I were left very upset by the whole experience. The following day at 9.00am my mum received a phone call from the man in the store who we had first seen saying he had received a phone call from his boss to say they were not prepared to continue due to the fitter putting in a complaint about us!! This whole situation has left my mum extremely upset as she could just not believe that Milton Glass had treated her so poorly after waiting six weeks for them to respond. All my mum wanted was a new porch door as she finds her current one difficult to open and close. We were going to ask Milton Glass for a quote to replace our blown double glazed window panes but we will definitely be avoiding them in future.
Excellent service. Very helpful. Went above and beyond first by lending out measuring tool and then by insisting on delivering my double glazed unit to stop me damaging it on my roof rack :)

Lovely guy, honest about whether reglazing would be cost effective but happy to try for me and wouldn't charge me if he tried but failed (sentimental value of the mirror meant I would happily pay more than the cost of replacing the entire thing). But he not only na naged to re-glaze it to a high standard, it was at a very reasonable cost. I would highly recommend!
Really good service. They cut down a couple of very large mirrors for me for a very reasonable charge. The mirrors were from some mirrored sliding wardrobe doors that we wanted to make smaller.
Great service, super fast (20 minutes from when I phoned up) and most impressively, it was half the price of the cheapest online supplier I found. Just £26 for a bespoke cut mirror 510mm x 985mm. Great local business!
