They say support local businesses so we did just that and used the company just up the road from ourselves , “Turners of Horncastle ltd” Pete came and gave a competitive quote for a composite front door so put the order in and was given an approximate timescale, they then worked around our schedules and an appropriate date was agreed , the workmen were professional , tidy and did a good job. I’d Highly recommend them.

After having my house keys stolen, I rang Turners to ask about getting the locks changed on my house. Within an hour of that phone call, the locks had been changed and keys delivered to me. I'm so grateful for the quick, efficient service. Knowing my house was secure with new locks left me feeling a lot less on edge and bit more relaxed. Really can't thank Turners enough for their quick response as well as their care and understanding of the situation. To come out and change the locks as quickly as they did and at such a good price too, brilliant service, highly recommend. Thank you!

Ordered a pane of glass it has taken a while for it to be ordered and picked it up today, just be patient with them, the price was about £40 cheaper than I had had a similar size pane from a company in skegness. As they have said and I realised today they are a small business and they seem very busy I don't believe there are any other window company's like them in horncastle.

Window removed to allow sofa in, very friendly team from coming out to look at the window after closing on the weekend to the window fitter coming and doing a very neat and tidy job. Excellent service

Similar to other reviews from people requiring wooden windows! Contacted Turners for a quote for the remaining windows left to replace in our old home (they had already done some of the windows so knew the work we needed), Pete Bell came to measure 7 weeks ago and I still have received no quote or correspondence. Since then I have emailed 3 times asking for an update, called the office (to which the friendly lady who answered the call said I should have a quote within 2 weeks) but still no contact. Very disappointing! Would have much preferred and appreciated the company to be honest with me and say they did not want my custom order rather than me wasting 7 weeks waiting for a quote!

Contacted this company as we were looking to have a window replaced/fitted, guttering installed and a new garage door. They came over to have a look around, told me they'd send a quote out. Sent a follow up email as i never recieved anything - no response. Sent another follow up email, again - no response. Not impressed..

I arrive on Sunday closing time, and the fitter could not have done any more to help. He showed me lots of doors and explained the fittings in detail so I had a good understanding of how they operated. It was service with a smile and he went beyond excellent service, simple superb. Well done.

Needing to replace all my doors and windows I contacted Turners in November 2021. After discussing my requirements with two other suppliers I decided on using Turners as they gave good advice and were competitively priced. I had to wait a number of months prior to the installation but I knew this as I was advised at quotation. The fitting was carried out by a very able and competent team who also managed to fulfil my specific requirement of minimal making good internally. The windows and doors when fitted showed an immediate improvement in sound and heat loss and were fitted level and with care (unlike the doors and windows removed). The process from start to finish has been handled with friendliness, professionalism and care. The team from the office and the fitters were all not only very capable but also great people. Reading some of the other posts we can of course only speak of our own experience but mine was excellent. Would I recommend them? Yes of course Adam

I needed a local company to replace current single glazed windows with new double glazing as well as changing 3 door ways into full length windows. I found the whole team, helpful, polite and knowledgeable in what we wanted, when and fitted without fuss and without inconvenience. I would recommend the whole team

Well done to those customers who've managed to 'use the business', and get satisfactory work, from this company. My experience was quite different. I contacted them to ask for a quote on some timber windows and supplied the necessary details and dimensions by email. Two weeks later I was still waiting and contacted them again. Accepting of the need to wait my turn, I ignored the fact that they'd overlooked the email I'd sent them and I sent the details again: no apology from them, but, hey, mustn't expect too much. They promised a response for the following Tuesday but nothing was forthcoming. Contacting them again, I was told that they 'hadn't got round to it'. I've heard the word 'professional' misused in this kind of context. To be professional, it seems to me, is to commit to responding to the people who ask for your services even if you don't actually need their money right now because you're already flush with customers in this incredible sellers' market for building/renovation services. 'Responding', here, means to treat (would-be) customers equally, apologize for errors, reassure them that, if they're prepared to wait, you'll absolutely make them the focus of your attention as soon as you're able. 'Professional' = 'being a-s-d ('bothered', to put it politely) with people - repaying with gratitude their trust in you'. Whatever they do substantively at Turners - and, sadly, I'll never know - as long as they don't call themselves 'professionals', I can't afford to mind.

Good local tradesmen very knowledgeable

Excellent service and value, nice blokes too. We had 9 upvc sash windows and a new front door. All are excellent quality, perfectly fitted and finished. The two men that fitted them where friendly, professional and very clean and tidy. We love our new look house. ❤️
