RPS double glazing repairs

Vince did an amazingly thorough job rescuing both the front and back doors of our recently purchased property. They now open, shut, lock and unlock smoothly. He clearly explained what he was doing and why, and gave us useful advice on maintaining their new efficiency. All at an extremely reasonable cost. First class.

I called Vince after reading his reviews, and they were absolutely true! He came immediately, completed the job meticulously, and charged a fair price. I would highly recommend him. I'm very happy with the result!

Replaced 2 panes of glass for our patio doors. Very professional, Vince certainly knows his stuff! Tidy and prompt time keeping. Will definitely use again if needed. Thank you

Vince really went above and beyond for us. He tried his best to source new UPVC door hinges that were over 20 years old but came up with an alternative that work perfectly, and did an amazing job installing them…he even had to buy a new tool to do it. Would 💯 recommend. We are super happy with the result. Cheers Vince.

Vince is absolutely one of the best tradesmen I have come across. He quoted a very fair price and did a great job - a very meticulous worker. Highly recommended.

Vince was absolutely brilliant and sorted the problem door in about 30 minutes, highly recommended

Excellent service & gave us some good tips on maintaining our windows.

Fantastic tradesman and a job well done, honest and transparent from the start. Highly recommended

Vince came and fixed our broken hinges on our patio doors, gave good advice on maintenance and fixed other parts that were broken and recommended then replaced the lock barrel too. Thanks Vince, highly recommended.

Very efficient service and value for money

Very happy with the new windows. I had three bedroom, one bathroom, and the kitchen window glass replaced by Vince, he removed the old plastic Georgian effect windows, is clean and tidy, his business ethics as transparent as the glass. Thanks Vince. A* glass A* service A* price. I highly recommend 👌

Professional and very tidy work. Would definitely use RPS again

Vince is a top class tradesman, trustworthy, reliable, high quality work and very competitive priced. Tradesman like this are a godsend. I’ve used his services multiple times now to do various jobs including repairs to double glazing and doors to my property in Poole. He always explains things clearly and the quality of his work is excellent. Thank you again Vince

Vince has just completed two of what turned out to be non-standard jobs for us - a couple of poorly-fitted and blown patio door panes and a worn front door locking mechanism. His quote was very reasonable, his approach was meticulous and creative, and the end results were spot on. His knowledge was encyclopaedic, and he kept us fully informed about the detail of what was happening. Recommended unreservedly.

We have had 2 top opening double glazed units replaced. As these were coloured leaded panes ,we wondered how good the match be, but we need not have been concerned. The replacements are an absolute match with the original. Vincent did brilliant job, keeping us informed and always arriving on time. Thankyou for a job well done. Sheila Brazier

Vince gave an estimate that was very competitive but his attention to detail on fitting was thorough. Efficient, clean and tidy. Will definitely be using again.

Vince did a great job replacing some of my blown windows and hinges. He was very knowledgable and thorough, showing me what he was doing and what caused the windows to damage in the first place. I thought his pricing was very reasonable and I’ll definitely use him again for any future work

RPS have just been round to heel & toe my front door, job done in less than an hour with good maintenance advice - excellent service!

Great knowledge and service. Door nicely fixed after years of temporary fixes by other people. Definitely using again and recommending to others.

Vince certainly knows his stuff. Both window issues fixed with speed and efficiency. First class work by a professional and a very reasonable price. Wouldn't use anyone else now.

We required the replacement of the mechanisms of two rather old UPVC windows. Vince went above and beyond, sourcing the replacements - and had said if the parts acquired did not fit, he would not charge. Happily they did. Very happy with the service and workmanship.

We had 2 blown windows, very quickly and efficiently repaired. Old glass out and new glass installed in a very short time. Very professional and tidy, taking care to leave everything clean. Thanks, I would recommend and happy to use again.

Vincent stepped in when we were let down by another company. We had an exploded conservatory pane, 2 misted panes upstairs, and a broken gearbox. Vincent was punctual, professional and tidy. He is a great bloke, with great knowledge and it was a pleasure to watch him work, he is quite simply the best around. The price was a lot less than I expected and I fully recommend RPS double glazing repairs to everyone.

I can’t recommend Vince highly enough so professional a great price and a great job just wish all tradesmen operated to his high standards, replaced 7 large windows in a conservatory thank you Vince amazing work, and such a nice guy

Many thanks to Vince for fitting three double glazing units. No fuss, no mess and at the price we agreed. I was contacted on the day to confirm time of arrival - everything was very quick and professionally carried out. I would recommend Vince and RPS to sort out your misted up double glazed units.

The work to replace a glazed unit to an internal door was carried out by Vincent in a very satisfactory way, quickly and very professionally. Would recommend to all friend and family

Rang early morning: told he'd try to fit me in today as in my area. Arrived about 12.00, sorted out my problem and was on his way at 12.20. I can now enjoy fresh air during our next heatwave. Thanks Vince

Vince provided an excellent repair to two badly dropped conservatory doors that would not lock. He was helpful, extremely knowledgeable and very competently carried out the repair on his first visit. I would highly recommend and not hesitate to use again.

Vince arrived promptly at the appointment time. He identified the issues with our French windows and kitchen doors and his remedial work cured the problems. He was polite, very tidy and explained his solution in depth. No.8.

Vince is absolutely marvellous. We needed a quick repair to our elderly parent's front door and he gave up his afternoon off to go and help them. Quickly identified the problem and fixed the door so that it now opens and closes properly. Not only that, he made sure I knew what he was doing to fix it, so that I might be able to fix any similar problems on my own door. He is a truly caring tradesman and totally reliable.

Vince carried out two door repairs. He explained and demonstrated what he was doing, why and what led to the problems in the first place. We will have no hesitation in going back to him for some further work we will need in the near future. Quick, professional and tidy. Also able to explain using plain English.

Excellent service from Vince. He stayed with a difficult job that required a lot of effort and skill. Good communication throughout. Highly recommended.

Excellent service.

We had a blown large bay window, leaded. Called Vince, he set up an appointment and measured the glass and and ensured it matched the other windows. A short time later he reattended to fit the glass. He was very professional, and explained what he was doing. He took care to ensure nothing got damaged and did a thorough, clean and tidy job. We'd have no hesitation in using his services again, and would highly recommend him to friends and family

Contacted RPS in regards to a stuck conservatory door. RPS knew straight away what the problem was on the phone and confirmed on visit. Quoted and fixed in the same appointment. Fast, reliable and excellent value. Brilliant customer services would highly recommend to anyone.

Professional, efficient and high quality work at a very competitive price. Vince takes real care in what he does and takes the time to explain the issues, what’s needed and give genuine honest advice about the best route forward. He is organised and works in a clean and tidy manner - taking care to protect the surrounding surfaces and leaving the flat spotless afterwards. Vince is absolutely fantastic and I would heartily recommend him to anyone needing glazing repairs.

Vince is very professional and clearly extremely knowledgeable about what he does. His passion for his work exudes! Both of our French doors had dropped and the bottom hinge on the master door had become loose. Vince came round within a few hours of our initial contact to look at the job. He provided us with a quote along with a detailed explanation of what was wrong and what would be required to fix the problem. We considered his quote to be reasonable for the work involved. He returned to carry out the work less than 48 hours later. The doors are now perfect and in fact open and close better than they did when we moved into our property nearly five years ago! We shall definitely be calling on Vince again when we have any double glazing related issues in the future. We highly recommend Vince of RPS for his reliability, customer service and amazing work ethic.

We used Vince a year ago and were delighted then so had no hesitation in contacting him about a recently failed dgu and a patio door whose hinges needed adjustment. Excellent work, carefully (but speedily) and cleanly done, and at the quoted price. A very helpful, pleasant - and interesting man.

Excellent service. Vince came and sorted out our backdoor which wasn't shutting properly and repaired the lock. He did an amazing job and the door is like new. I highly recommend his services.

Vince just came and fixed 2 badly adjusted doors for me that were hard to open and lock, and dragged on the floor. Did a great job, showed me what was going on, chatted away, explained everything and charged reasonable price. Left everything tidy. Will definitely use again if needed, highly recommend.

Very good service

I needed 2 misted double glazed units replacing; Vince made a timed appointment to quote, arrived on time , produced a detailed quote which was accepted. Well within the quoted timescale he called to arrange fitting. The work was carried out with meticulous attention to detail and everything was left very clean and tidy. I thought the disposable overshoes a nice touch - I can’t recollect any other contractor I’ve engaged using them. I will certainly use this company for any future work and would recommend them without reservation.

Wow what a great craftsman. Numerous large doors, windows jammed and cat flaps to replace when we moved to a new house. If you want it fixed first time with the confidence that it has been done properly by someone who knows their trade then Vince is the best in the business.

Excellent service as usual having used them previously..Turns up on time and clean fastidious worker.. Ian Bray

Excellent service would recommend without hesitation. Did a great job

We have been using the services of RPS Double Glazing Repairs on a number of occasions, principally to replace misted glazing units in a conservatory, but also to replace some dated patterned windows and also to re-adjust doors. Of course, windows supplied have been exactly as promised, cost effective, and installed efficiently. What we really appreciate about Vince though is his attention to detail and passion to complete a job properly and to a high specification. As and when he's found other small jobs that have needed doing but haven't been part of the brief - adjusting doors for example - he just gets on and does them. His conscientious nature means that leaving a job not quite done is unacceptable! In short, can be absolutely relied to do a good job at a fair price.

Great service. Replaced 6 double glazed units at a very fair price in about 2 hours high quality of work Would recommend and will use sgain

Simply could not find a fault. Our patio doors were in an awful state. Vince did a wonderful job making them safe again. Nice thing was that Vince explained what he was doing and why. Great service from Vince of RPS when he replaced 7 of our double glazing units that had misted up. Efficient, friendly, tidy and cleaned up after his work. Would recommend to everyone and use again, for sure. Cheers Vince! Update - have since used Vince again to fix our UPVC porch door. Speedy, efficient and explained everything he was doing. Vince came round today to do the work that needed to be done to all my windows after he had done a previous survey. He arrived bang on time, well prepared, cleaned up after himself and completed the job. I would use him again and certainly recommend him. Another satisfied customer 😀

I used Vince’s services 4 years ago to replace a misted double glazed window and also change some locks and door handles. Annoyingly three different windows had misted up and so I called Vince up again. He came out and measured the windows and then a few weeks later was back to fit them. I watched him replace the windows which was really interesting and realised just what a perfectionist he was. He did a brilliant job and even took the time to help me with a few other non job related questions! The windows look fantastic now and it’s so nice looking through clear glass again. Highly recommended. Friendly service and a very competitive price.

Vince replaced 3 windows, sorted out my tricky conservatory door which was sticking very badly having dropped and warped, replaced a window handle which was fused shut and replaced my front door lock. It was amazing to watch a master of his craft at work, giving me practical tips. Absolutely delighted with every aspect of the work. My 20 year old windows and doors are like new. As soon as we accepted the estimate I was informed of time scales, a phone call was received to the day and an appointment was made for the fitting to be actioned. The day of fitting all work was carried out very efficiently, advised on how to lubricate windows, dust sheets were used and he hoovered up after job was complete. Very impressive service. Came to price the job and measure up within a day or so and job completed within 2 weeks. Anybody wanting windows doors handles replacement glass etc give this man a call. He’s reliable and won’t let you down

We used Vincent in the past for replacement of 2 windows and were so impressed with the work he did that we had no hesitation in using him again for the second time - this time replacing 14 window panes - a mix of standard, A rated and toughened glass. Once again he impressed us with an excellent job done. He is passionate about doing the work well including nice extra touches such as cleaning things as he goes (e.g. the seals and gaskets before putting them back). He also replaced a few vent covers for us and made it easier for us to lock our front door - nice touch, things he didn't have to do but he did - that's the sort of little things that provides that extra customer satisfaction. When we need similar work in the future we'll be contacting Vincent again and we strongly recommend him to anyone else needing any such repairs - Easy to give 5 stars when you have an excellent job done.

Very good service. Did a great job; very happy with the work. He’s very friendly but not overbearing and I felt very trustworthy. Even recommended him to my 82 year old mum and I wouldn’t do that for many tradesmen.

Vince has repaired several of our windows on different occasions and has always taken time to explain the fault and carry out the fix professionally. The most recent visit was to adjust a composite front door that was sticking. I have recommended Vince to relatives and colleagues without hesitation and will continue to do so.

I have called on Vince's services for 3 different jobs and am always impressed by his passion for his craft and the professionalism that he offers. Prices are explained clearly up front and workmanship is to a high standard. Would highly recommend.

I have used RPS on many occasions with business and personal, have found Vince to be very professional from his quotes all the way through to his cleanliness. Would highly recommend RPS double glazing and repairs..

I have used Vince twice now, the first time our front door lock failed on a Friday afternoon and we could not lock the door. He arrived within two hours of calling and replaced the lock and adjusted the hinges to stop it happening again, life saver. I also used Vince to replace a broken hinge on the bathroom window that I had been putting off, I was thinking of doing it myself but glad I didn't try as it was not as easy as I thought. He offers an honest, reliable and friendly service which I can highly recommend.

I've recently called on the services of RPS to replace some faulty bolt locks on several windows and fix a UPVC door that would not open and close properly. Vince from RPS took the time to explain exactly what was causing the issues, what parts would need to be replaced and provided me with a detailed breakdown of the total cost of repair. In my opinion the work was carried out to an exceptional standard and all my doors and windows are now functioning like new. RPS offer an excellent, professional, service at a very reasonable price and I'm therefore happy to recommend them to everyone.

Lovely guy , Very professional and knowledgable, good quality work , highly recommend

Vince is one of the rare breed of truly professional tradesmen who takes absolute pride in his work and results. He fixed a broken double-glazed pane for me and did such a good job that I had him back to sort out some broken window locks and badly fitted doors. Vince turns up on time and does an absolutely brilliant service with a friendly and can-do attitude. Thanks a lot Vince.

I have used Vince to get some double glazing issues sorted. Replaced some cracked glass and fitted some new upgraded lock barrels to all our doors. Excellent service and a very friendly guy. Thanks

Very unprofessional business, turned up at the wrong address and seemed to think it was my fault, I sent him to the right address (fortunately just around the corner) When they answered and wanted to call just to confirm the problem, Vince from RPS became impatient and refused to do the job accusing us of wasting his time. Firstly he had received an e-mail stating exactly what the problem was, secondly he would only have had to wait a few moments for the call to be made and thirdly, if he had wanted me to, I would happily have come with him to give him the details of the problem. Why was he so rude to both myself and the person who answered the door to him at the other address. Very unprofessional person, no excuse to treat your customers like that even if you may be having a bad day/week and be very busy. I wouldn't use again!
