We had a blown large bay window, leaded. Called Vince, he set up an appointment and measured the glass and and ensured it matched the other windows. A short time later he reattended to fit the glass. A gem of a find!.......rare these days to find someone who not only knows his subject extremely well but also does an excellent job, taking time and care to to achieve an excellent result.Not often I will recomend someone but in this case Vince at RPS 10/10. I needed 2 misted double glazed units replacing; Vince made a timed appointment to quote, arrived on time , produced a detailed quote which was accepted. I thought the disposable overshoes a nice touch - I can’t recollect any other contractor I’ve engaged using them. Wow what a great craftsman. Numerous large doors,windows jammed and cat flaps to replace when we moved to a new house. If you want it fixed first time with the confidence that it has been done properly by someone who knows their trade then Vince is the best in the business.

We have been using the services of RPS Double Glazing Repairs on a number of occasions, principally to replace misted glazing units in a conservatory, but also to replace some dated patterned windows and also to re-adjust doors. Of course, windows supplied have been exactly as promised, cost effective, and installed efficiently. What we really appreciate about Vince though is his attention to detail and passion to complete a job properly and to a high specification. As and when he's found other small jobs that have needed doing but haven't been part of the brief - adjusting doors for example - he just gets on and does them. His conscientious nature means that leaving a job not quite done is unacceptable! In short, can be absolutely relied to do a good job at a fair price.

I used Vince’s services 4 years ago to replace a misted double glazed window and also change some locks and door handles. Annoyingly three different windows had misted up and so I called Vince up again. He came out and measured the windows and then a few weeks later was back to fit them. I watched him replace the windows which was really interesting and realised just what a perfectionist he was. We used Vincent in the past for replacement of 2 windows and were so impressed with the work he did that we had no hesitation in using him again for the second time - this time replacing 14 window panes - a mix of standard, A rated and toughened glass. Once again he impressed us with an excellent job done. He is passionate about doing the work well including nice extra touches such as cleaning things as he goes (e.g. the seals and gaskets before putting them back). He also replaced a few vent covers for us and made it easier for us to lock our front door - nice touch, things he didn't have to do but he did - that's the sort of little things that provides that extra customer satisfaction. When we need similar work in the future we'll be contacting Vincent again and we strongly recommend him to anyone else needing any such repairs - Easy to give 5 stars when you have an excellent job done.

I have used Vince twice now, the first time our front door lock failed on a Friday afternoon and we could not lock the door. He arrived within two hours of calling and replaced the lock and adjusted the hinges to stop it happening again, life saver. I've recently called on the services of RPS to replace some faulty bolt locks on several windows and fix a UPVC door that would not open and close properly. Vince from RPS took the time to explain exactly what was causing the issues, what parts would need to be replaced and provided me with a detailed breakdown of the total cost of repair. In my opinion the work was carried out to an exceptional standard and all my doors and windows are now functioning like new. Vince is one of the rare breed of truly professional tradesmen who takes absolute pride in his work and results. Very unprofessional business, turned up at the wrong address and seemed to think it was my fault, I sent him to the right address (fortunately just around the corner) When they answered and wanted to call just to confirm the problem, Vince from RPS became impatient and refused to do the job accusing us of wasting his time. Firstly he had received an e-mail stating exactly what the problem was, secondly he would only have had to wait a few moments for the call to be made and thirdly, if he had wanted me to, I would happily have come with him to give him the details of the problem. Why was he so rude to both myself and the person who answered the door to him at the other address. Very unprofessional person, no excuse to treat your customers like that even if you may be having a bad day/week and be very busy. I wouldn't use again!
