I called Wayne several weeks ago to get a quote to repair my back door that was hard to lock and unlock. He came out to see what the problem was. Superb company!!! Free quote, extremely helpful. Fitted new windows within a month from initial quote, did it all in two days, a bay window consisting of 3 windows, a single window and then two bedrooms, one with 2 windows and the other with one. Really work hard too and on both days were there til gone 6pm, having started at 8-8.30am!! Very friendy and tidied up afterwards too and the windows are so lovely. Also, we have ten indoor cats and so they had to be shut in various rooms whilst work carried out - they were very mindful of that. Having initially been offered an appointment in a week’s time we explained that we were currently unable to lock our patio doors so the manager himself came to us within the hour! He was able to fix our doors for us, explaining the reason for the problem. Very good service, would thoroughly recommend.

What a fantastic company – I would 100% recommend A&E Window Doctor. Back November we had been quoted by several companies to replace our windows, but decided to ask A&E Window Doctor to come out and see if they could repair them instead. The owner came out personally to inspect the windows and provide a quote, which was far cheaper than the replacement quotes we’d received – saving us thousands. The workmen who carried out the repairs were lovely, professional, and very tidy. We were booked in at the start of December. All of our windows now close properly, and we’ve already noticed a huge difference in how warm our house is. The outcome is just as good as replacing the windows, but at a fraction of the cost. Before deciding to replace your windows, I’d strongly recommend contacting A&E Window Doctor. We’ll definitely be using them again in the future for any other work we need done.

Wayne came and measured up to replace an old unit in our wooden frames. He was the only firm i could find that would actually work on wooden frames. He later came with a new unit, he arrived on time quickly removed the old beading and unit. Successfully installed a new unit efficiently, replaced beading and cleared up after himself. Was due to fit replacement windows made costly arrangements only to be contacted on due day and of fitting with poor excuses finally came 3 weeks later offered no compensation and was rude on phone and also broke an ornament recommended you don’t part with any money till fitted

Called for what I thought was a broken door, turns out it was an easy fix (and a slight blonde moment). Wasn't made to feel stupid and door was still thoroughly checked to make sure it actually was ok. Really appreciate the time. Over the last 4 years Wayne and his team have replaced window units , window frames , doors , fitted false bay windows, replaced door locks , door handles and this week replaced and insulated my conservatory roof. All of this work has been carried out to a high standard and with out any fuss. Hi guys where do I start?? Had a big company round for a window quote, the hard sell was frightening to an elderly person telling us to both to be in, did we have any ccj’s? Long story short over 2 hours later we have left a deposit been promised the earth with an 8000! Grand discount, started at £20,000 Went to £15.500 then £12,000 😳 Was out walking spotted this company!!! OMG lucky or what, Wayne the owner came round 3 days later apologised for the wait. Quoted me £4,000 less. Booked in 3 weeks time. Date booked 16 December 2024 today 17 finished. He doubled up on the gang as he promised, job done!!! We are blown away. Cannot big this company enough. Wayne was a lovely helpful man i phone him and he come down to have a look quickly gave us a quote and was accommodating to our needs for a date to fix. From start to finish A&E have been excellent. They gave us a quote within 24 hours of visiting and were quick to arrange when they could do the job. On the day the two guys fitting our windows did a fantastic job and even stayed late to ensure it was done properly. We also had a scratch on one of our windows that they had sorted out a replacement for before we even knew about it. We really appreciate how easy to work with they've been, everyone has been polite and friendly and we couldn't be happier we chose to go with them. I couldn't recommend them more.

From 1st contact to completion everything was perfect. Wayne carried the survey to replace 2 blown windows and fit new panel with cat flap. I have had an emergency with a conservatory door not being able to close and as I live near the A & E dr I walked to the showroom- knocked at the door of this company and the guy saw I was distressed and told me to return home and he’d pop round in fifteen minutes! Our conservatory roof was leaking and our two sheds needed re-felting. Booked Wayne to come and have a look for us and got a reasonable quote within days. We booked a date in for the work to be done and they turned up nice and early, started straight away , were very clean workers and very efficient team. One sealed unit developed a crack, A&E were local and quick to provide a quote, gave an indication of lead time for the new unit, and delivered on time. Installation was quick and everything left neat and tidy.

Great speedy service from a well known local firm. I bought 2nd hand UPVC windows from marketplace with the idea that I could fit them myself. The more I researched, the more it left me daunted with trying to get it right first time and waterproof. I bit the bullet and got a good quote that I was happy with. On the day they removed my old fashioned window panes and managed to fit the new ones perfectly, even though I had bought them slightly the wrong size, the team managing to adapt them and now you would never know they were difficult to fit. This little guy quite popular locally thought we'd give him a go, knows his stuff .. bit of advice tho, get yourself a few quotes he was nearly twice the price of other reputable companies all with guarantees,also the other companies turned up when they where supposed to. We used A&E to repair two single glazed Georgian glasses. The repair was done really well, you couldn't tell that the panes had been replaced. The existing lead joints were not ruined at all, it was a very neat repair. Great friendly, polite, guys - would definitely recommend.

I asked them to take a look at a couple of handles and a locking mechanism which they also fixed. They were very friendly and helpful. Wayne fitted my kitchen window with a new glass unit, back in July. As I was waiting for my new kitchen to be fitted, I was unsure what finish the kitchen fitters were going to leave we around the window. So Wayne & I agreed that he would pop back and put me up a nice finishing trim after kitchen refit. Kitchen was finished on Friday & trim isn’t needed. So I emailed Wayne and he refunded me the money I paid for the trim, that same day. Thank you Wayne for your friendly professional service and after sales service. We have used A& E Window Doctor before so when a sealed double glazed panel needed replacing we got a quote and had the new unit fitted today. A quick and efficient service.

The service was on time, polite and efficient. All my handles were replaced, some changed from left to right hand and hinges found faulty on the day we’re replaced immediately. A replacement glass panel was cracked during installation but it was reordered and replaced quickly without any fuss or charge. Would not hesitate to use again or recommend to others.
