SMS Glazing Repairs

Highly recommend SMS Glazing. They came out same day to board a broken window and back within a few days to fit the replacement. Top notch service at very reasonable prices. So impressed with the service....we would like another window and door to be fitted!! Book with confidence, these guys are worth every penny.

Brilliant work - efficient, helpful and easy to deal with. Highly recommend.

Needed some double glazing glass replacing only, in a house that's rented out. Sorted everything out over Whatsapp/phone call. Initially measured up the glass myself and got a quote which I was happy with. They came round and measured up on the first visit and I paid a deposit via BACs, then about a week later they installed the glass and the outstanding balance paid on invoice the same day again via BACs. No mess, no fuss just straight forward efficient service. By the way they did it back in Dec 2025 and Im just getting to do the review now. See photos attached. Cheers GUYs - Job WELL DONE.

Need to have my window removed to get a sofa in the house and they were very quick to help and made the process very smooth and perfect thank you for your help

Even took the time to complete some additional preventative work to avoid the glass failing again and explained the work completed via email when I had some queries. Top notch service. Can’t recommend enough

This is a great business. Communication was excellent it was very easy to explain what I needed. Simon was extremely courteous. Most importantly this firm proved to be highly reliable which is a quality I look for when employing repairmen and services for my property. The repair was carried out to a high standard and the work was completed within 24 hours. I asked for before and after pictures which were provided. I also received an itemised bill. I paid exactly the amount I was quoted there were no hidden extras or surprises. When you have to budget for a repair it is really good to know in advance the exact cost. I have added this firm to my contacts for local tradespersons. I would happily recommend or use this firm again.

Brilliant service from start to finish. Needed a single pane of glass replacing in the garage window. From measure up to install cannot fault the service I received. An excellent job done. Would definitely use again and I have no hesitation in recommending.

Rang up to enquire about a UPVC window repair (broken handle). Came out next morning and fixed new handles to both windows. Excellent and very quick service. Highly recommended and won't hesitate to use them again.

Had Simon and his team member visit today. This is his second visit to my home to replace different 3 misted glazing windows. One large glass unit was situated on the second floor bay window, not able to bring it down from the inside through the stairs, but both of them managed to remove the old one and replaced the new toughened glass unit via carefully sliding down from the second floor to the ground level with appropriate tools. Simon knows how to solve problems quickly. Very happy with the service provided. Always leave the place clean and tidy before they leave. I always recommend this company as it has never let me down once.

Can highly recommend SMS Glazing Repairs. Prompt service at a good price. Will definitely use again!

Excellent service, excellent price, fast, clean, professional. Very happy with the work Simon & his crew did, will definitely recommend them to others.

We needed a cat flap in window of our new house. We were quoted some very high prices from national firms. However we were referred to SMS and installation was quick and professionally done with good communication from measurement to installation. Price very reasonable compared to some other quotes.

100% professional.Always on time.Good prices.Definitely Best in Bradford.Thanks Simon

The service was exceptional, with a very polite gentleman providing assistance. I would highly recommend this establishment. The quality of workmanship and the fair price are commendable.

I had a sky light disaster. SMS did a totally first rate job. Came up with a solution to a tricky window install, and completed the job in double quick time. Great service, good price and excellent people.

Great professional service and a reasonable price. Three patio door panes of glass replaced quickly within a week. I would highly recommend.

Fast efficient and friendly service. I had a full length sealed unit replaced in my back door and a bedroom window unit. Very reasonably priced. More than happy to recommend.

Rang sms Glazing early this morning after a break in The owner was with us with in an hour Great communication great work Also the price was excellent Definitely use the company again

Could not be happier with the service we received. In the middle of moving day we found out we couldn’t fit the sofa in the front door, a quick call and 30 minutes later Simon arrived and took out our living room window with no damage or mess and gave us a hand getting the sofa in too. Would definitely recommend, absolutely saved the day!

What a great company!. I had 3 window panes that had fogged up and a draught from the opening window. The same day I contacted him Simon came out to measure up and give me a price. A week later he came back to fit 3 new window panes and new hinges on the opening window. All quality replacements and the job was done quickly with no mess. He even adjusted my front door that was sticking as he left! This company is a must for anyone with window or glazing problems.

Fab service! The only place we could put a cat flap was in one of the windows to the side of our french doors, and Simon was definitely the man for the job! Quick and easy quote, quick to come and measure, and installed a week later! It turned out that there was an offer on cat flaps at pets at home at the time, so we ended up buying our own for him to install, and he was really helpful with making sure I'd ordered the correct thing. I would definitely recommend! 🎉

Service was brilliant came asap and in the time agreed, job was done quick and professional

Friendly, efficient service. Very impressed with how quickly and effectively the work was done

Quick response, less than a week he came and replaced the window and a good price. Thanks

Absolutely fantastic job would highly recommend Simon and his team ☺️

Excellent service from beginning to end. We had an emergency situation, coming down in the morning to a blown bi-fold door. We messaged Simon, and Steve was here within 2 hours to board up the door. He did a wonderful job, on a weekend morning, and was a pleasure to deal with. Simon then arranged for a replacement unit, and fitted it at our convenience once we’d returned from holiday. Both Simon and Steve were credibly professional, and very punctual. We felt the price charged was very reasonable, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend SMS glazing, or to use them again .

Simon was more than helpful in securing a shattered window pane on the same day I called and he replaced it with a new double glazed window within a few days. I recommend SMS Glazing Repairs for a prompt professional and reliable service. Thank you Simon.

Fantastic, swift, professional and polite guy. Would definitely recommend him for emergencies. Great job, thank you!

Thoroughly recommend SMS. Excellent communication prior to the work being carried out. The quote for a replacement pane fitted with a cat flap was, I thought, very reasonable. The work was efficiently done and with great care and attention, and the finished result looks really good. Very happy!

Professional service. Very fast response to my initial query, Simon came out the very next day to measure up, and as soon as the glass was ready he was back in touch. He did the job quickly... despite a little problem with the replacement window... he quickly resolved it. He was absolutely lovely, I would recommend him and I would definitely use him again. Thanks again Simon. 😊

Our bifold spontaneously exploded ....huge shock....Saturday afternoon...found this firm under emergency services ...and so glad we did. Simon came that same day to board up and under a week later fitted a replacement unit. I was expecting a lot of mess but he was very careful and tidy....Would recommend one hundred percent. Friendly, professional, informative and very helpful. Thank you for excellent work

Thank you Simon for replacing my garage window .. great service especially when you can do it from the outside that helps me a great deal ..will definitely reach out again for any future jobs ..best wishes Mrs E Thorpe x

Excellent service, highly recommend !!

Problem: A total of four of misted widows. (One of which was driving me crazy.) Solution? An email to SMS Glazing, and just a few days later, as good as new! Rapid service, at sensible prices, and an excellent job - what's not to like? Many Thanks

From the second I called Simon I was very impressed with the service he and his crew provided. He came to assess the work I needed and he was on time, courteous and thoughtful. (He removed his shoes while inside) He delivered a price within hours for replacing 8 new panes of glass in my conservatory, two of which were for patio doors. All of the external gaskets on my conservatory, and the handles of all the house windows, plus a few brackets and hinges. He also realigned the patio doors and the door leading from the conservatory to the utility room. When the work was carried out, I was asked at every stage if everything was OK. If there was an issue it was remedied immediately. I'd say I got value for money and I'd have no problem recommending Simon.

Great communication from the start, I got a microchip cat flap fitted and he was really efficient and helpful! Really pleased with the result.

Absolutely fantastic service, Simon was punctual, thorough, and magical in rescuing my jammed door which needed a new mechanism. He also made some adjustments which made the door open, close and work just like new! saved me a massive amount of money and headache! If you read this, thankyou very much!

Excellent service in arduous weather conditions. Good value too.

Simon has fixed a front door i was previously told was unfixable and most recent job was fitting a dog flap on back door....highly competent at what he does. extremely professional and courteous and efficient in every way from quote to completion...I highly recommend him😀

We had the double glazed units replaced in 2 windows and a draughty window fixed, Steve and team were prompt and efficient, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Simon came promptly, assessed what was required and kept me informed about the progress of the order. The fitting was exactly as he said.

Simon was efficient, easy to communicate with, knowledgeable and personable. He did a great job fitting my attic skylight window pane at a very competitive rate. I’d highly recommend him. Susie

Rang simon for a large cracked double glazed to be replaced he came on time to measure up and give me a price , once agreed he had the window reinstalled with a week a very nice guy very professional service will be using him again for further window replacements.

Replaced 3 single glazed panes in a Crittall window in the kitchen. Very professional from start to finish. All surfaces were sheeted and all the debris was cleaned away when finished. I would use SMS again and would recommend them to friends and family.

SMS gave a fair quote for removing and replacing a kitchen window (pictured). Quite a lot of work involved but no mess and a nice result after. They also replaced the glass in a misted window. (Nb this is something that the big firms just don’t do and their quote for the window replacement was ridiculous) No pictures of this but another nice job. One tip I would pass on from Simon for others is to consider having brown caulking round the outside exterior. I’m happy that the white matches the other window, but brown blends in much better and doesn’t show the dirt. As SMS is not FENSA registered and one of the windows was a full replacement, I needed to have it checked by Building Control. But the inspector was very pleased with it and I now have a certificate, so can’t say fairer than that.🙂

Excellent service from Simon to replace a broken window. I would use again.

The double glazed units in our kitchen roof glazing system had blown and the seals had slipped out of position. As a result the slightest wind outside created a mini hurricane inside! Simon came out the day I called him, quoted the following day, agreed a date to install, arrived on the day with two incredibly efficient colleagues and completed the work to a high standard. Lovely people too, can't ask for more.

Needed window opening as the mechanism had broken Simon offered a great price he was very polite and professional. Was able to fit the same day. Also gave me some good advise on what to do with the window hinges that were a little stiff. Would recommend.

Highly recommended. I needed a cat flap in my patio door, they replied almost instantly to give me a quote, then came to measure up and only a week later it was fit. Always quick to respond to questions. Professional service. Nice people. Lovely cat flap and quality work. Thanks guys. If I need anything else I will definitely call.

Professional, unbelievably quick, polite and a good quote. Working to a standard I wish other companies aimed for.

Attention to detail as he identified my existing glass door was energy saving glass and ensured I had the right product to meet my needs. Many thanks SMS Glazing. Fab job 👍

SMS glazing has done excellent job, Mr Simon installed the windows as per expectations and in a much affordable price. Well done SMS glazing I will recommend them for all the offered services.

Simon at SMS glazing was super professional and despite challenging times he got the job done quickly and efficiently. Very much "can do " attitude, which was what I desperately needed as I'd been from pillar to post trying to solve the particular issue in question. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending SMS glazing!!

Simon, visited one of my properties on the first working day of the new year. He spoke with the tenant and turned up as agreed. Fixed the issue in minutes. I cannot recommend SMS Glazing for any glazing or uPVC doors and windows.

Needed to fix a hinge on a tilt and turn UPVC door. Fantastic service. Friendly and professional. Clean and tidy. He talked us through what he needed to do, but didn't use professional jargon. Clear and precise and then just got on with it. Cannot fault this company and will reccomend them at every opportunity.

Great service, fast response, friendly and professional workers.

We wanted a cat flap fitting in a uPVC door. I asked several people in the trade and they all recommended SMS. The man who came did a top job. Now installed, it looks really good. In addition, the cat flap he supplied is a quality product. He was friendly, efficient and left no mess behind. Whilst he was here, I asked him to fix a lock on another exterior door. He did this too in less than 10 minutes. We're very happy with all the work he has done for us today. Thanks.

Called Simon this morning to measure for a replacement window. On inspection Simon found that unit had a plastic covering and would only require removal. Although going to be painstakingly long excersize it has saved me needless costs. I would like to thank SMS Glazing for the honest and extremely professional approach in providing a solution to my problem. Without doubt the best customer service I have ever received. Thank You Again Steve (Birkenshaw)

Just had some new glazing fitted an excellent job punctual and professional service would highly recommend

Gave Simon a call to get a few window hinges repaired as draught was coming in and change the glass on a window due to condensation. He came within a few days to give me a quote and gave me a really good price. The quote was broken down for each job that needed doing. I gave him the go ahead and he initially booked me in for the Wednesday but no one was going to be home. He popped over with his colleagues on the Monday instead and got the job done - within a few days of giving me the quote. Very friendly guy, really helpful and spent time explaining what exactly needed doing for the repair. Our bedroom feels a lot warmer now with no draught coming in - happy days. Highly recommended.

I found SMS Glazing online as my family needed windows put in an my brother said can you please find us someone good I didn’t actually know anything about Sms as I live in London wasn’t sure how it would turn out but honestly speaking I had a phone call from my brother saying the job done is amazing an he was very professional definitely will recommend to anyone in West Yorkshire wanting windows it’s very hard to find trustworthy reliable people and this guy is the real deal thank you so much.

Messaged, did get a response finally thanks.

One week ago today I was in the ludicrous and incompetent position of having locked myself out of the house and had to break the window in the front door to regain entry. I telephoned SMS Glazing and within about an hour or so of being contacted they arrived and boarded up the window. The type of glass we requested as a replacement window had to be ordered from the manufacturer but within a few days SMS Glazing returned and replaced the missing window in less than 60 minutes. The job was done efficiently and courteously and so I have no hesitation in recommending SMS Glazing to anyone who might find themselves in need of a new window.

Just had my catflap fitted with these, excellent work and very tidy. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent Service. I've used a couple of glazing firms in the past but I have to say I'm very impressed with the level and speed of service delivered by SMS glazing. They were competitive, prompt and delivered as promised. I will certainly use them again when required.
