I do not believe Gas Man is the cheapest. But, they are reliable, professional, competent and courteous - all that you want from someone in your home. I had a radiator replaced and the pipework to it improved. When the installation was finished everything was left clean and tidy. And, the old radiator removed from site.

Dan came to give us a quote for a new boiler. He was very friendly and went the extra mile by advising on a few other things related to our boiler. He was not pushy at all, in fact he advised we could possibly get another year or so out of our existing boiler. We decided not to risk it and book in a new boiler with The Gas Man Group. The engineer who installed our new boiler (huge apologies for forgetting his name!) was fantastic. Really friendly and cheery and again went above and beyond by advising on some issues we had in another room. Don't go anywhere else for your boiler!!

Rarely do I write reviews. This is an exception. From the outset the process has been simple and extremely professional. Never under pressure, I was able to discuss the requirement. We needed a new boiler installed , The Gas Man group came to carry out a full survey of what works were needed . They turned up when they said they would and talked us through what was needed and advised us as to what they would recommend. At no time were we pressured into buying anything. Our quotation arrived within a few days and we were pleasantly surprised at the figure received . An install date was agreed and the installation engineer carried out all the works that were needed . He carried out his works after thoroughly explaining what he was going to do . Dust sheets used throughout and honestly at the end of the day we never knew he’d been .He worked tirelessly to ensure we were up and running again in no time . Having worked in the building trade all my life I know how unreliable companies are , and really wasn’t looking forward to having these works done , but can honestly say from my first phone call to the end result it was a pleasure . Cannot thank The Gas man group enough and would thoroughly recommend to anybody requiring any heating works carried out . Thank you

The team from quote to commissioning worked beyond our expectations. The quote was more than acceptable, the installers were ultra tidy and the final commissioning was full of expectations that were surpassed. We have the AUK system fitted to the lounge, kitchen and bedroom. It is so easy to use the remotes and downloads to our mobiles. Leaving the lounge on a very hot day is like walking out of a walk in fridge to a boiler room. Wish we had done it much earlier.

This company went above and beyond to get my new boiler fitted. When Sam came and visited me i told him i wanted straight answers, not a 4 hour chat. He was fantastic and humoured me. He carefully advised which bouler to go for as I was completely at a loss. There was no hard selling ( this was very important to me) we settled on the boiler and i booked in. I had to change the day as i decided a holiday in Devon and a car purchase was happening. Although they were Happy to do it while I was away I have a house cat and he would have been traumatised with it going on and ne not there. Even though my son was there. It was a complete boiler change from a 1973 glow worm fitted by my husband in the eighties. Yes it was 30 years old at the time. It severd us well. Unfortunately the little glass spy hole cracked and the Gas Board basically condemned it. They did light it up again fitted a monoxide detector as I had the Gasman boiler coming in ASAP. 3 days later new boiler, new radiator in the hall old boiler removed and the hole filled in on the outside of the wall. Water all the time. I had a couple of questions and Kim got Sean to come and see me and run through it with me. He actually filled the hole on the inside. He cleaned all the rubbish up from the front garden that had been neatly stacked. As the lads were coming back to do but saved them a job. I absolutely recommend these guys they are professional friendly and respectful.

Pathetic service. I booked a no-obligation quote a week in advance for 14/07/2026. At the last minute, I received a call saying the gas engineer couldn’t make it and asked me to reschedule. The appointment was then rescheduled for 15/07/2026 at 4:30 pm. Once again, before the appointment, I received a message from the engineer saying there was a family emergency and he couldn’t attend. While I understand that emergencies can happen, having two last-minute cancellations in a row is completely unacceptable and shows a lack of professionalism and respect for customers’ time. I’ve never experienced such poor service from any company. If this is the level of service before I’ve even become a customer, I can’t imagine what the after-sales support would be like if I went ahead and purchased a boiler from them. Getting a call from the engineer 3 hours early asking me to be home otherwise the appointment needs to be cancelled is unacceptable( I have my own things to manage). I even asked to give me an hour time, so that I can be home around 3ish has been denied and appointment cancelled. While I appreciate his emergency, there could have been many other ways to manage this. Very disappointing.

It has been an uplifting experience dealing with this obviously customer-centric local company. From initial enquiry with Kim, to Dan, who carried out the survey, guiding us, but never pushy, in choosing the right item for our needs. Sean installed the boiler, and we were impressed with his obvious professionalism. So, Highly Recommended!

From qoute to the actual job being done, was completely impressed by the guys. New boiler, moved and radiator being put in. Quotes were given after a honest chat about what we wanted. When the guys arrive lots of prewarning they were on there way and by how much time. Really lovely lot, polite, friendly.. discuss the job and changes were made. 1st day finished walked us through at were they were at, left everywhere tidy and clean. Dan was brilliant in repairing our very very old LPG boiler - he sourced an obsolete part and managed to get the old "ideal Mexico" back up and working again. This is particularly appreciated since we are off grid and not in a position to upgrade. Sean replaced a length of external gas pipe work from our LPG tank bringing it up to safe modern standards. Both Dan and Sean were knowledgable, personable, punctual and professional - and we have confidence in the work they have undertaken as being safe and reliable. Ours was a tricky job that went on over a few months due to other upgrades that were needed to our gas tank - Dan was understanding that this took longer than we hoped! Thanks so much - a great local business - run by honest people.

Great experience all around with a new combi boiler and relocation job. Dan was on time for the estimate appointment and had a really clear explanation of the work that would be done as well as the options I had. For the installation all of the technicians, I unfortunately can't remmeber their names at the moment, were on time and very courteous. Any difficulties were clearly communicated and alternatives agreed beforehand as needed. Would whole heartedly recommend.

Had Dan and his fantastic team remove my old back boiler and replaced it with a new combi in loft. We also had all radiators changed as well. Dan explained the job to us before and informed us of where the gas run etc would go. We then had 3 of his team complete the work to high standard and they were a pleasure to have in the house friendly, good time keeping and very tidy. on the second day of the 3 day job they all worked late so we could have hot water and heat which we really appreciated. I would recommend Dan and his team if you require any work and will use him again for any future work.

Excellent boiler installation from Dan the Gasman / The Gas Man Group. Our 15-year-old boiler had finally reached the end of its life, so replacing it wasn’t exactly an expense we were looking forward to. However, the team made the whole process smooth and reassuring from start to finish. Sam, Dan and Jamie were reliable, friendly and brilliant with communication throughout. They worked incredibly neatly and the finished installation looks fantastic, with beautifully tidy pipework mounted on a backboard showing real pride in their work. Living in a pre-Tudor Grade II listed house built in 1472, heating can be a challenge, but the difference since the new boiler was installed has been remarkable — the house hasn’t felt this warm in at least 15 years. They carried out a full power flush, installed a smart thermostat, and everything comes with a 10-year warranty and service plan for peace of mind. Pricing was also very competitive. If you’re looking for a reliable boiler installation and heating engineer in Hampshire/Surret/South London , I would highly recommend Dan the Gasman / The Gas Man Group. Dan kindly fixed our old boiler at 6am when we were left with no heating / hot water. We didn’t hesitate to get him back for a quote when it needed replacing. He was efficient, helpful & friendly. Ben & Dan worked incredibly hard fitting the new boiler as our old system was problematic and caused them no end of issues which they dealt with calmly & professionally. They worked late into the evening to ensure it was all up and running with no question. The house has never been so warm now with the new boiler and super clean system having had years of sludge flushed out & cleared. Top job and would highly recommend

Dan is a really professional guy, great communications and available when you need him ie to check on repairs carried out etc etc. In our Instance we’ve had multiple leaks across some 30-40 year old copper pipes in the house and we couldn’t ask for better service. Had a leak fixed and another one would go and then another but he was always checking in with us to make sure all was ok or if more appeared. He worked with us with regards the insurance company as well with the photos required for progress and also working outside of ‘normal’ working hours to get us back up and running. The guys he has working for him are very good, clean and tidy and professional as well as Dan himself. Highly highly recommended.

Our previous boiler service company let us down so the hunt was on for a replacement. Daunting as that was, we found Dan the Gas Man and needn’t have worried. I cannot recommend Dan the gas man enough! I recently had an F5 fault on my Glow-worm boiler, which left me with no heating or hot water, and I was worried about the cost and time it would take to fix. Dan from Sandhurst was an absolute lifesaver. He was incredibly punctual, arriving exactly when he said he would. He quickly looked at the boiler, diagnosed the problem efficiently, and even went to get the part needed to fix it. His pricing was very fair, and the speed at which he resolved the issue was impressive. The entire service felt professional, reliable, and trustworthy. From start to finish, it was a five-star experience. If you're in need of a gas engineer, look no further than Dan. Dan fixed issues with 2 toilet flushes for us recently. His communication was good from the start, provided a timely quote and kept me updated on when he would come. He arrived slightly early, fixed the toilets and charged less than he quoted! All round good job and nice guy.

I recently had an outdated and unsightly gas fire removed and couldn’t be more pleased with the service Dan provided. From start to finish, he was an absolute professional -friendly, reliable, and so easy to liaise with to get booked in.
