Biggs Heat Technologies

Great service, quick response & good communication. Would definitely use John again

I have used John twice now and can highly recommend him. Thank you.

Great service, quick response and good value. Engineer was great at making clear what they would do and how long it would take. Thanks 👍🏻👍🏻

Using Biggs for annual service for first time. Prompt appointment and good job. Would definitely recommend.

I asked Biggs Heat Technologies to replace a 16 year old Potterton Boiler they had kept going for over 10 years with a new Worcester Bosch Greenstar 4000 15kW. Their team, assisted by a really useful Work experience assistant, did the job really thoroughly in the time expected, and the pipework was then even neater than before, all in gleaming copper. They then upgraded our Wiser Hub to the latest model and added smoke alarms to our system which was much better and cheaper than the stand alone equivalent, and all visible on the Wiser app. (So comforting when away on holiday to know when your home is burning!) After over ten years the Biggs Team just keep getting better.

I cannot recommend John and his team highly enough. They provide a totally professional service at a reasonable price and are always swift to respond in an emergency. If I could give more than five stars I would. 🌟

They managed to fit in a fix for my elderly parents boiler on the same day. The young gentleman that turned up late in the day still had a smile on his face, got things working in a professional way, thank you 👏

Very prompt efficient service diagnosing and replacing dodgy boiler pump at reasonable price. Definitely recommended.

Always good, efficient, speedy and fairly priced service from John Biggs and his staff

We have used John and team several times over the last 10 years for boiler replacements and underfloor heating. Always a good service at the right price.

I recently used Biggs Heat Technologies and was very impressed with their service. They responded quickly, communicated clearly throughout, and fixed the issue to a high standard. On top of that, they provided helpful general advice, which I really appreciated. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and professional heating services.

John and his guys installed a fantastic Mitsubishi heat pump for us back in September. We have now been through the worst of the winter (hopefully) and I can report that it does everything we hoped it would and that we would never want a gas boiler again. We had a couple of other quotes before deciding to appoint John to carry out this installation. It was clear that John has a high level technical understanding of this technology. He spent quite a bit of time carrying out the initial survey and answering our many questions and in the end he was the only installer who gave us the confidence to take the leap and ditch the gas. We would have no hesitation in recommending John to anybody considering getting a heat pump.

Always great service from Mr Biggs and he is always there if you need him urgently. Used him for years.

John and his team are fantastic! They service my boiler regularly after they fixed it when an error code shut the system down. So I didn't hesitate to contact John when my elderly Mum had several plumbing issues at her flat. They fixed everything and were also very kind and patient with her which both of us at ease. Excellent customer service and response, wonderful team, thank you John!

John has looked after us for many years and has always been very reliable and has provided very good service.

John Biggs services and maintains my gas boiler and underfloor heating system, and has done so for several years. His standard of workmanship, rapid response, and proficiency gives me full confidence, and I can strongly recommend him to others for all types of maintenance and repair of gas heating equipment..

I had a leak over a weekend. Contacted John midday Monday and he fixed it ‘on his way home’ at the end of the day. Great service and help. Now looking forward to annual boiler service again, Thanks John.

Always excellent professional and courteous service from John.

Very pleased with John. Have used his company for many years to carry out our plumbing requirements. Prompt, efficient and reliable. Edmund

Excellent service provided by Darren. Very helpful and efficient. Work completed very quickly considering the time of year it was required. Will certainly be using Biggs for further servicing and heating needs.

Punctual, efficient, competitively priced. Has been servicing my boiler for years and years.

Very professional engineer and did a thorough boiler service. Left the area tidy after the service. Will definately be using Biggs Heat Technologies again next year and would recommend to others.

John carried out our annual boiler service today, just as he has every year since installing the boiler 12 years ago. It’s still running perfectly, which is a real credit to his thorough and reliable work. He’s always methodical—this time removing limescale from a key component to keep everything working as it should—and he never leaves without making sure both the heating and hot water are running flawlessly.

Excellent service from John. I tried a few places for quotes to service and fix a problem with an heat pump boiler in a rental flat we have tenanted. John was easily the most communicative, good value amongst those that replied, and so we gave him a go, and weren’t sorry that we did. Great service, he was able to visit promptly, fixed the problem, serviced at the same time and all very efficiently. The tenants were very impressed and so were we. He’s added us to his schedule to return next year, and we’ve already gone ahead and booked him in to do regular annual services on another rental flat too. Highly recommend! Thanks John.

John was thorough and did a fantastic job. He was able to explain the process to my satisfaction. Kept his appointment. Will call him again for the next gas service

I have used this company for many years, they always turn up on time, always clear up after a job. Theyre friendly and professional. I would recommend to anyone.

We had a very slight leak from somewhere in the upstairs bathroom, nevertheless causing damage below. Not an urgent situation, but this company sent an engineer next day who quickly located the source of the leak and efficiently repaired it. Very good work and I highly recommend this company

A very helpful and efficient company to deal with; would recommend them.

John Biggs was very responsive fitted a new shower for my tenant in quick time. She has also praised John for his speed and tidy job.

We are delighted to have our new boiler up and running - a big improvement on our old one. We are very grateful to John Biggs for organising this. Special thanks go to Brandon for his neat and tidy work over the two days' implementation. He was friendly, informative and careful throughout.

We have used their services recently to sort out some issues with our heating system. Given it was not urgent, I was expecting to be given an appointment in a couple of weeks time, but the owner sent one of their employees the next day. The work was done quickly, the engineer was nice, very experienced, provided explanations, had the parts in the van. It was not expensive, I will use them again.

If I could give this company 7 stars I would. Engineer 'Dowen' was professional, friendly, polite, informative. Clean, efficient service. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Brilliant they put in a new boiler and their work was clean and tidy

John and his team have done plumbing for us for many years. They always do a thorough job and clean up after themselves. They are very personable and able to explain everything very well. We have recommended them to numerous friends who have always been pleased with their services.

I have used Biggs Heat Technologies for eight years. Initially, they installed two bathrooms, a cloakroom, a new boiler and radiators for us. They have serviced the boiler each year. Recently we had a boiler problem where the water was going cool after running for a while. John was able to fix this in less than an hour.
