They don’t read the job information and requirements you send and instead perform and charge for a service you told them you do not need. Asked for lead pipe and other pipe insulation inspection, instead received unnecessary evaluation of completely unrelated, unmentioned boiler. Lead pipes weren’t mentioned on their report, and after I mentioned ‘hey, you were supposed to look for lead pipes?’ they sent another report adding in a mention of lead pipes to make it look like they did the required job. Would give 0 stars if I could. Avoid them.

Still haven't received an apology. 2024 Christmas I had days of being unable to heat my house with a one year old and 2 seventy year olds. All because of a maintenance check to keep my boiler in warranty! The engineer couldn't work out to reconnect a part he'd isolated. He was a lovely guy. Just meant we were freezing and I had to have a call out by someone who knew what they were doing. Didn't even want the refund, because then I'd have gaps in my boiler cover! Saturday 14th: a Veissman engineer came to fix a leak in the boiler, replaced parts. The heating was working. Monday 16th: my boiler was serviced by DD Wilson. The heating did not work afterwards. Wednesday 18: the engineer returned, stated he had isolated the pipe to clean the filter and forgot to reconnect it. He stated he had reconnectted it at that time. He stated the fault was the boiler pump, and he told me I needed to contact Veissman as it was a boiler issue. Thursday 19: an engineer from Veissman reconnected the isolated section.

Service was average, response time was okay, but communication could be clearer and more consistent throughout the job.

Had an F28 fault on my glow worm boiler. Engineer came said it needs a service and flush and mentioned my plate heat exchanger could do with replacing but wasn't essential for repair. 3 days later, I had no quote for repairs so I had to chase that, and then they quoted me for the plate heat exchanger despite saying it wasn't required during the call out. When I asked for an amended quote they sent a bodged quote which didn't actually make sense so I had to get that sorted. A few days and more chasing later, they finally responded and they argued that the plate heat exchanger was essential for repair. I'm a mech engineer so despite not being a boiler expert I'm certainly not daft so I did question it further. In fairness, the owner (Darren) took a second look at the quote and said full strip and service would be fine. The heat exchanger had nothing to do with the issue and would have cost £400 to replace. Anyway as luck would have it, my neighbour noticed a gas leak coming from my meter box so I got the meter replaced (for free) and hey presto boiler is working now! The engineer even told me during the call out that the gas pressure was fine, but evidently it wasn't so I'm not sure what's gone on there. Either way, it's concerning that they failed to correctly identify the issue and had I not done my due diligence I would have spent £400+ and not fixed the issue.

Professional, helpful, good guidance very explanatory on reasons, why and choice, both installer and maintenance engineer top quality .... my sons new boiler and maintenance on mine both done same day and when it was booked in for plus happy to fit in with me definately recommend and will use again

Not recommended. Disorganised and charged for a call out on a job that wasn’t installed correctly in the first place. Office admin rude. Have given up on refund. I called DD Wilson to have my boiler serviced, and we got a same day appointment for no extra charge. Within 3 hours of calling we had everything sorted. The lady on the phone also couldn't have been nicer! Would recommend 10/10.

I honestly can’t recommend DD Wilson highly enough. I contacted them during a genuine emergency when the boiler at my property caught fire, and they were able to respond immediately and advise me on the best course of action. As I live internationally, dealing with something like this could have been extremely difficult, but the whole team went above and beyond to make it work around me and my schedule. They were incredibly flexible and supportive throughout the entire process. The communication was excellent from start to finish. Jane in the office kept in regular contact and made sure everything was organised quickly and efficiently. Darren, the owner, was also personally involved and very helpful in making sure everything was handled properly. John, the engineer who carried out the work, was fantastic. He was professional, knowledgeable and clearly very experienced. He took the time to explain the issue, worked efficiently, and made sure everything was resolved properly. He was honestly an absolute lifesaver. What could have been a very stressful situation was handled calmly and professionally by the whole team, which really helped put my mind at ease. I wouldn’t hesitate to use DD Wilson again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional company. I’ll definitely be using Darren and John again for any future work when needed. It’s rare to find a company that combines such great technical expertise with genuinely excellent customer service.

I recently used DD Wilson. They came out to look at my faulty boiler and advised me what to do next with no pressure or obligation to buy. I went ahead and purchased a new boiler and a radiator for my kitchen. They booked me in the very next day, on a Saturday which was amazing and the work was carried out by a gas fitter called Steve. He was really good. The issues I was having have been resolved and the advice I received was of top class expertise which was evident and nothing was a problem for Darren who even came out to bring items Steve needed to do the work. Jane on reception was absolutely brilliant from first call out to boiler installation and aftercare. Will definitely use DD Wilson again in the future. Could not be happier. Cheers guys, Garry

Great service, I first had a text to remind me that It was time for my boiler to be serviced, I forgot, then I received a letter to remind me, Great! I rang them straight away and a few days later, Josh came and did his job. He was so polite, kept his workplace tidy. He was very mindful of closing my safety gates behind him too, I was impressed. 10/10

First time we have used D.D Wilson we had new rads fitted and our own rads put back up after decorating they cleaned and checked the boiler got it serviced the x2 lads did an amazing job The rads are working more efficiently than ever now. The lads even hoovered all the mess afterwards They fitted new thermostats on all rads.took the old rads away too!!! The whole experience was first class from arrival to leaving.They advised lagging pipes in my garage where the boiler is!! Great service Great lads Thanks Darren!!!🤩

Can't thank Darren & the team enough. New boiler fitted over the other side of the kitchen within a matter of days from first contacting them. Cannot express how thankful I am that I called this company today. I have had a leak coming from my ceiling for almost a week. I’ve had three different plumbers and even a roofer out in the hope of resolving the problem and no one has been able to sort it. Called DDWilson around midday today and the leak had been repaired by 4:30! Their service is so slick and professional from start to finish and I will most definitely be calling them when I next need a plumber.

I called DD Wilson to come out and take a look at my shower cubicle which was leaking. I’d had a couple of other plumbers in to take a look but they couldn’t locate the source of the leak. I’d not used DD Wilson before or even heard of them, just found them via a Google search and was therefore understandably nervous about whether they would do a good job. But I read their promising reviews and decided to proceed. Tristan from DD Wilson came out to look at the shower, he was really knowledgeable and genuinely interested in identifying the issue and in solving it. Tristan explained everything thoroughly and talked me through the two options he thought were best to proceed with meaning I was able to make an informed decision. I’m really pleased to say that my shower leak is fixed, and Tristan did an absolutely cracking job. He consulted me at every stage to make sure I was happy with the work. Tristan said he was a perfectionist and that’s what you want to hear from a trade, isn’t it! Someone who is both knowledgeable and takes pride in their work. I’d highly recommend DD WIlson and Tristan and have already passed on their details to someone else who is struggling with a leaky shower! Everything went smoothly, from dealing with the team at the office to the clean up - five stars from me!

Brilliant from start to finish We had a new boiler fitted for my father-in-law, who has very high standards and can usually find a fault in just about anything, but fortunately for me, not this time. Cant recommend DD Wilson enough. From start to finish the service was excellent. The manager contacted us straight away, came around within 48 hours and 24 hours after that we had a new boiler and thermostat fitted. The lads that fit the boiler were great and everything was left tidy.

I’d gotten in touch with DD Wilson after my boiler completely broke down and being let down by a few other local recommendations. I live in an apartment on the top floor so it was no easy task installing a new boiler but Darren came out to assess the job and put me at ease with any of my concerns. It was a big job on the day, involving roofer, cherry picker but nothing was too much trouble and the engineer on the day, Paul, worked from day until night to get the job done. I’m very happy with the service received from start to finish and I would happily recommend DD Wilson.

I use DD Wilson to service my combi boiler. They are an excellent company, their prices are very competitive, they turn up on the promised day. The engineer phones about 30 mins before they arrive. They also fitted 2 tall radiators which wasn't easy due to the construction of the wall, but they completed this confidently. I would recommend them for all gas and plumbing work.

Lewis came out for the initial survey, and we discussed the full scope of work: replacing the boiler and radiators and adding a new radiator to a room that previously had none. Claire and Lily in the office were extremely helpful, providing detailed quotes with different boiler options. Once we selected our preferred option, they booked us in immediately—we confirmed on a Thursday afternoon, and installation started on Monday morning! Paul, the engineer in charge, was fantastic—punctual, professional, and an absolute expert in his field. He worked efficiently, with great attention to detail, and left everything spotless. Darren also stopped by to finalise paperwork and chat with us about our new system, which was a really nice touch. The whole process was smooth, fast, and completely stress-free. Avoid avoid avoid Found them via google search read all the great reviews. So decided to get them out as I had issues with my electric water tank. Very prompt on answering the phone, Told about the call out charge, sent link which I paid. Engineer came out the same day at the right time…. Every was great then… the following day get a call and email about the problems and the cost. I got a quote in the region of 3k. ‘The water tank needs replacing it is a fire hazard and had a list of things which needed to be done. I would have paid it as I assumed this is a trust worthy company giving how many great reviews they have…. I was asked to get another quote and inspection off someone else. So I did got another engineer from a diffrent company to come out. Same procedure paid the call out charge. The engineer came as agreed and quoted wait for it….. just shy of 400£ to fix and replace the problematic parts. So if I didn’t get another price this company who come out to tell the problem and give me a solution would have happily robbed me of my hard earned money by replacing a water tank which didn’t need replacing. (The water tank is only 4 years old) wouldn’t recommend unless you want to be robbed and misled.

Moved into a new house , needed a new boiler and it was moving from the kitchen to the back bedroom. This was done in a great, efficient manner with fantastic customer service. Would recommend to anyone.

Had dd Wilson come out to my partners dads and the guy that came out from the company was amazing he stayed and took the boiler apart and diagnosed the fault and repaired it there and then very clean and professional team would highly recommend for anyone wanting there gas appliances looked after thank you so much elderly couple are now warm and have hot water again.

Can’t praise this family run company highly enough . My boiler was over 35 years old and on its last legs . I now have a new efficient heating system . Customer service was brilliant and they responded very quickly with any issues I had . Very professional, work was completed to a high standard . No complaints . Got a combi boiler fitted on 25th and 26th September 2024, also a hive to control the heating from my phone, The day after boiler fitted, the electrician came to fit the hive. Next day, the back radiator in bedroom started leaking, the engineer managed to fix it on his second visit, the first visit he said, the new radiator system has air in it, that's why pressure keeps dropping, so he bled the radiators. Next day water dripping through cieling in kitchen, I took bath panel off,couldn't find leak, until heating was put back on. Eventually the engineer fixed the problem, but 2 weeks later,the hive is still not working

My old boiler broke, DD Wilson came out and gave me a very good quote, they also fitted it for me within a few days, I couldn't be happier. The boiler is brilliant, the service was first class, from the lad who came to do the quote and the engineer who fitted it. Very clean and professional. DD Wilson installed a new boiler for me Friday. From the initial phone call to completion I received first class service. Bradley did a wonderful job removing the old boiler and tank,installing the new one,pipe work etc. It was a long day for him but service was delivered in a friendly happy professional manner. Booked To sirvice my boiler took the day off I phoned in the morning as request and was told the engineer would be with me at 1.30 pm I gave hombtill 2.30 only to be told he was stuck on the motorway I had to take hom at his word. They rearranged for the following week due to ne having to work fir after 5pm but again he never came. Do your self a favour and give the company a miss unreliable.

Issue was horrific pipe vibrations every time a tap was turned on or the loo flushed. The engineer, Tommy was fantastic. He diagnosed the issue immediately and came back to sort it out very quickly. He fitted a new tap and radiator valves and a regulator to the system… all very professionally done and with the utmost care. Very efficient support from the office also. Excellent. Thank you.

Honestly, I cannot recommend these guys enough. They helped me out and fitted a new boiler and as a tradesman I can say now, you will find no finer gas and heating engineers.

Had a visit from this company and was quoted £600 pounds for parts and estimated flush at £300. Even a possible replacement boiler. Got second opinion and fixed with only call out charge. Not sure if this was done with malicious intent or even problem may return. But has to be 3 stars. If intent was to rip off 1 star would have been give. I am unlikely to ring again

If we could give DD Wilson Gas Engineers Ltd 10 stars then we would. But we'll have to settle for 5 stars instead. We were introduced to the company on Monday 22 June and by close of play Thursday, we had a superb new comi-boiler fitted. The customer service we received throughout was first class, it genuinely was. But great customer service counts for nothing if the quality of the workmanship isn't up to scratch. Well, we didn't need to worry about this aspect. The two fitters were real craftsmen; their pipework etc. is extremely neat and tidy, they were professional and genuinely nice blokes. But we haven't mentioned the competitive price as well!! All in all, we would recommend DD Wilson Gas Engineers Ltd to anyone. They made the whole experience really enjoyable.

We had a problem with our boiler that kept loosing pressure. Initially we had catalyst come out after contacting the home insurance, they stated that a part needed replacing which would cost over £500. Due to their poor service I decided to go with DD Wilson gas engineers. He engineer came round and gave the boiler a proper examination, because of this he managed to find the issue and just drain the system and recharge the boiler. This fixed the problem and cost me £99 for the call out. He was extremely friendly, helpful and did a great job. I will be using this company in the future for any gas or heating work.

Had a new boiler fiited today by Keith who did an amazing job. We had a glass splasback and we were worried it would have to be removed to get to the pipes costing more money. Keith fitted the boiler in the cupboard without having to move the splashbacks and no damage was done. Would definitely recommed. Also have had radiators fitted by DD Wilson and a service done. Absolutely first class service from this company, our boiler broke and was an uneconomical repair so we needed a replacement, sent photos to Jo in the office of DD Wilson and within half an hour had 4 detailed quotations which were precise in detail so we new exactly what we were getting. We made our choice and booked the installation there and then for Monday (2 days later). I hadn't used this company before so when i was asked for money upfront to cover purchasing of the boiler etc i was i have to say a little concerned, i needn't have been as at 08.10 on Monday morning Anthony from DD Wilson turned up to fit the new boiler, he worked hard all day and completed the installation with care and left the Kitchen clean and tidy and all the rubbish aswell as the old boiler was collected and taken away This is a first class company who have integrity, fair and competitive pricing, professionalism and are customer focused. I recently had my new boiler fitted by DD WILSON GAS AND HEATING ENGINEERS LTD. It's a great family run business. Very happy with the service we have received from the first contact with Darren the owner, through Jo in the office,to both of the gas safety engineers. All our questions have been answered straight away and in full details. The installation of the boiler took only 3 hours and the engineer has left the place spotless. Within a week received all the documentation as promised. I am extremely satisfied and would recommend this company to anyone.

On the day on the install, Paul, the gas engineer, phoned me in the morning with a time of arrival. Throughout the day, the work area was kept clean. A credit to the trade. Came out to us to check our old boiler at 7pm due to constant loss of pressure was deemed dangerous (installed by previous house owner looks like on the dodge) and had to be condemned, due a new one anyway and was installed by 2pm the next day, good correspondence from the owner Darren who was helpful through the whole process. Had problems with our old boiler. Called DD Wilson based on their excellent Google reviews. They were here within 2 hours. Did what they could to fix it on the spot but it wasn't repairable so went for a new one. Gas engineers were great guys. So professional, friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Thank you DD Wilson for making supplying and fitting are new boiler such a smooth process. . We only rang them 7 days ago and we had old boiler took out and new one installed. The old boiler we had, the flue was going through our garage roof which kept on coming off the top off the boiler top when any roof work took place. We wanted the new boiler lowered and the flue going outside of our house. Darren came round and explained how they would sort it out so the boiler flue could go outside garage wall and arrange for a roofer to fix and tile over hole when the flue was removed and patch up the hole left in my garage ceiling. Seven days after that Anthony the engineer came to fit new boiler. He contacted us to let us know he was on his way . He arrived at 7.30 in the morning and never stopped working all day. I don't even know if he had a break. He was polite and explained everything we would need know about are new boiler. It was a pleasure to meet such a hard working young man. The roofer came half way through the day and did everything Darren promised. I would certainly recommend DD Wilson if you want a new boiler they did a great job for me

Honestly I can't recommend this company enough.not only in the past Darren the owner of business has come out done service fixed my mums boiler spending time explaining reassuring her so I didn't need to look around when mum needed new boiler. When Darren told ne he was sending Anthony who my mum didn't know and we all know pensioners they are very weary of anyone coming in their home they don't know.Darren came out beforehand reassured her he was sending someone who will do fantastic job installing boiler and explain everything..today True to his word spot on 8 Anthony turned up .before arriving he rang to say was it OK to go in my mums without me arriving .by 230 the new boiler was installed .my mum is now singing Anthony's praises how hard he worked no mess explained everything..I don't do reviews as a rule unless it's something I think will help others..this is to say please before you go looking around for the best this company is by far the best .no wander they are winning awards .Thankyou DD.Wilson you have made the boiler installation a non stress job for not only my mum but our family ...

Had a strange issue with the gas readings so needed to establish whether it was a boiler issue or a meter issue. I called after Googling for local gas engineers and DDWilson came up top for reviews. Tristan came round this morning and he was very friendly and helpful. He called ahead to let me know when he would arrive and he was bang on time. He was polite, explained what he was doing, and why. Turns out our boiler is working perfectly (despite not having a service in an embarrassingly long time…!) and so I’m off to the supplier to carry on the investigation. Tristan helped me understand the situation much clearer, and was reassuring with the tests he carried out to ensure that the gas was safe. I was so delighted with the quality and service I received from Tristan that I wouldn’t go anywhere else if I had a gas issue now. DD Wilson will be my ‘go-to’ and I would recommend to anyone!

From their back office to Triston who came out and replaced a flow sensor in my boiler for me, everything is made so seamless and explained clearly so you know what to expect. I have since had Triston come out to fix another problem with the kitchen sink leaking and this was also fixed first time. Great service and no job is too awkward! I went to Darren with a request to have all the downstairs pipes replaced and the radiators changed without having to lift the flooring. He didn't bat an eye, and the lads did an exceptional job. They only lifted a small area to gain access underneath, and upon completion, they left everything clean and spotless. All in all, I wouldn't even consider dealing with any other plumbing company.

SUPERB EXPERIENCE Darren and his team were amazing from quote to completion of the job. They communicated throughout the process very respectfully, honestly, and in a friendly manner. Tristan and his apprentice were a great team who worked constantly throughout the day with very little breaks. They prepared and protected the house and cleaned up afterwards. From start to finish the whole experience was excellent. Darren is very amiable whilst maintaining his professionalism. His team were a credit to him. I had a new combi boiler-valiant pure, new radiators as well as thermostats on older radiators. All this and moving a gas pipe. The biggest joy was that agreed it yesterday afternoon and it’s all done today to a very high standard with no mess whatsoever in fact carpets have been laid better than the original fitters. We had just bought a new house when we realised that the boiler was bust and we had no heating or hot water. We called DD Wilson and an engineer came round on the same day (Friday). We decided to get a new boiler and on the Monday, two highly skilled engineers came round to fit the boiler. They were efficient and timely and we were so pleased with their service. This is a family run business with what felt like an extended family with their team. The family are lovely, they even gave us some nice bottles of cava! Would highly recommend. DD Wilson fitted a full new heating system with a combi boiler recently. Got the job done in 2 days which was very quick considering the amount of work that needed doing! Fantastic service. Needed a new boiler installing as my 30 old boiler was nearing the end of its life. Right from the start Darren and Co were very approachable and professional, they checked meticulously all round the house to find best option to install new boiler (gas main comes into basement of the house and I wanted the new boiler in the small bathroom at the back of the house on the ground floor - essentially pipes were needed to go right through the house, pretty big job!) nonetheless Monday morning they got to work, and by Tuesday evening I had a wonderful new top of the range boiler fitted with hive controller. Dirt was kept to a minimum considering the old boiler and water tank was removed (protective plastic was put on the carpet too). All rubbish including old boiler was removed. Overall price was very good value for money, will absolutely recommend DD Wilson they did a fantastic job i am very pleased, thank you so much

DD Wilson were excellent when our boiler died November 2022 just as the temperature was dropping. They prioritised installing a new boiler and were quick and efficient, especially when the job wasn’t as straight-forward as they first thought. We were only without hot water and heating for a week last, thanks to their speedy work. This winter has been comfortable and warm thanks to the efficient new boiler they recommended. The owner Darren came to see us when it was getting installed, which meant a lot too. They also sent us a Christmas card, and made sure we had all the warranty documents we needed. I would thoroughly recommend DD Wilson for all of your heating and boiler needs, and we will be asking them to look after our boiler with a service each year going forward. Thank you!

I phoned up DD Wilson with a boiler issue we've been having recently and was worried that it could be causing more damage. The receptionist was able to book an engineer straight away and the problem was resolved within 24 hours. Tristan who arrived at our house was very polite and knowledgeable about our central heating system. I was recommended DD Wilson by my sister. They did a fantastic job on installing a new boiler and moving it for her. As I'd just bought a new house I called out Darren to come and give me a quote on moving our boiler to the garage. He gave me a systematic breakdown of the age of our old boiler and how it being so old the chances of it moving successfully were quite low. He recommended us a new boiler and quoted for the full move and corresponding pipework and fitting. Very reasonable quote and quick turn around for fitting. Brilliant team!!! Recently had a new central heating system new boiler and new shower fitted by these guys and they have done an amazing job. They removed the old very dated heating and boiler put a new modern higher spec system in and even got rid of the old stuff they removed. They turned up when they said they would the job was neat and tidy and exactly as discussed I couldn’t be happier with it. This company recommended, supplied and fitted 2 new Boilers at New Life Revival Church in Liverpool in February 2022. After much deliberation with other Engineers DD Wilson came out the day after we contacted, they gave advice & recommendations and promptly answered the questions from the Church. Once the very fair quote was given, the job was quickly, tidily and successfully carried out. After many a drafty Sunday morning we have now had to adjust the timer settings as the Boilers are so efficient and effe. We'll done team, job well done 👏

Boss job! Quoted for and managed by Darren and carried out by Shaun and Al. Our's was a big job replacing a complete outdated heating system in an old house so plenty of things to go wrong or trip them up but they handled it all amazingly. Very bad customer service! Very disappointed! Unacceptable. We call the 21st Dec saying that we have an issue with our boiler (they do the service to us last year, so we are not a new customer). We told them that we have 2 little kids and we need someone ASAP as we don't have any hot water. They PROMISED that they couldn't send anyone the same day but will be for sure the day after (22nd). I just call today to check at what time they will be here, and the lady on the phone just told me that one can't make until new year... In 10 days... Is embarrassing! She said, she call this morning to let us know, no missing call, no voice message! If I knew it I will call someone else yesterday.

I would absolutely recommend these guys to everyone, they literally looked at my dads broken boiler and fitted a new combi boiler within 2 days, we had a problem with 2 of the radiators since the new boiler had been installed which they came back within 2 days to sort and it turns out it wasn't even anything to do with what they had done it was just 2 seized radiator valves, nevertheless they were sorted in no time with no extra cost ! Where can I start this family run great company have got me out of a really bad situation I was ripped off by cowboy plumbers who repiped my whole house and refitted all of my radiators with plastic pipe. They destroyed all my ceilings, carpets, laminate flooring, floorboards, they used 15 mil pipe throughout my whole house and left my house unsafe for my two children. Darren and his team not only came on short notice give me a good price ripped out all the new pipe work from the cowboys and refitted copper pipe work and all my radiators leaving me and my family safe and happy I could not recommend this company enough they have been amazing to me and my family thank you darren and your team you have truly been amazing I can’t thank you enough

My old boiler packed up. Always get 3 quotes for jobs. Darren came out and quickly put me at ease. His quote easily beat the others. Sometimes you wonder why other companies are so more expensive. Date for fitting was arranged. Keith turned up on time, explained what he was going to do and fitted the new boiler. Brilliant job. Had a small issue, rang Darren and Keith came back out and fixed it. My vaillant 10 year guarantee and building regs documentation has arrived. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Wilson converted my boiler from a traditional to a combi, and I have to say the service was excellent. Everything was explained, both what I was getting and what the changes would mean to my heating going forward. The engineers turned up on time and competed the work leaving everything clean and tidy behind them. They even sorted a couple of glitches on the day without any trouble. All in all would recommend as good honest guys.

Wow Wow Wow! What an absolutely brilliant team of people, truly fantastic job completed. I made an enquiry regarding a Combi Boiler to replace an existing Boiler and Tank. Having been referred to them, I reviewed their website and saw excellent reviews, contacted them on WhatsApp with a quick reply and Darren Wilson made an appointment. Very friendly approach and talked me through everything, explained the costs involved and timescales. Quote came through and nice friendly call from the office staff too. Due to a leak, I needed some urgent help and Darren and his team attended to this very quickly, we agreed an installation and within 24 hours the team arrived to complete the install. They were friendly and professional, started work at 10am and by 2pm new Combi boiler installed, old tank removed, hot water again at last, a new storage room ex Cyclinder. Untrustworthy! They took a £440 fee for something they later said was clearly unfixable - they did not fix anything and will not refund. Will have to take them to court as they are unwilling to refund a penny. Was basically robbed. Do not use this company!!!

After a lot of deliberation we decided we really needed to change our old trusty Boiler which had served us well for 25 years. A friend recommended DD Wilson and I’m so happy that they did! From the initial call to the office to arrange a quote to the installation lads saying goodbye the whole experience has been spot on! Darren himself came out for to do me the quote and we hit it off instantly. I didn’t need to seek any other quotes as I got a good deal and knew I’d be looked after . He shares a love of dogs too and our staffy was also very impressed! The boiler installation came a week later and the guys have done an awesome job. We had our boiler fitted back in October and honestly, it's the best. Darren came round on the Friday, checked everything, gave us our quote and then everything was fitted, done and dusted by 5.30 on the following Monday. In 1 day they got us converted from an ancient back boiler to a brand new Vaillant combi boiler with shiny Hive thermostat that I can control through my Google home 😍 the house is so lovely and toasty warm now, lovely hot radiators and heat throughout the house and the bills have also been cheaper! They're not lying when they say no mess, no stress. In that 1 day they also fitted us with new copper piping for the gas cooker and fitted isolation valves on all taps in the house and a set of new taps on our bath. Darren and the whole team are absolutely sound! A proper family business through and through and I'm so happy they were recommended to us. The thought of having to deal with tradesmen as a young woman in a new home was so scary as some companies would use that to their advantage, but Darren and the team filled me with confidence, explained everything brilliantly, efficiently and were really reasonably priced and they made sure I understood everything. Excellent workmanship and really organized, friendly and just got the job done in one day. We have had our old system changed to a New Combi Vaillant Eco Tech 38 Boiler and its fantastic, we have constant hot water and the house is so much warmer and gets hot super quick. The water temperature is hot and the pressure is great (no more trickles & waiting for water) we actually get bubbles when we fill the kitchen sink up!!! We feel so lucky to have found Darren and his team, they truly did a great job, honest and reliable and kept us informed every step of the way. An absolute god send ! We had a new Rangemaster oven supplied and supposed to be fitted by Rangemaster, told us we had a gas leak and shut our main glass supply. Left with no hot water or central heating, DD Wilson came out immediately, completed all relevant checks and informed no gas leak and switched gas back on immediately! Excellent communication and professionalism! A massive thank you to DD Wilson and will 100% use again in the future !!

We have two children 5 & 8 and since our daughter was born, most of the time had very little running hot water due to a fault on our existing standard system. We used to fill our bath with hot water from our electric shower. I contacted DD Wilson from seeing positive reviews on social media and numerous other review sites. I'd spent a number of weeks running through numerous on line boiler quotes sites but Daren from DD Wilson offer was to good to refuse including a hive smart heating controller (even throwing in a stand). We when with a powerful 35kw combi boiler and I just had a bath using just hot water from the taps in a long long time. Paul and shaun the instaers we had were awesome too, polite and hard working men, nothing was too much for them even me asking probably some of the daftest questions. Please don't bother googling other companies to get quotes for boiler replacements or conversions because you simply won't get better service or after care any where else.

We’d had a slow leak since June that was coming through the ceiling in the hall. We’d had another engineer out from a different company a few weeks ago who said he’d fixed it. A week later it started leaking again. Had DD Wilson out tonight and they found the leak after about 10 minutes. They also told us that what the previous engineer had done wasn’t even relevant to the leak!! Laminate floor up, floor boards up and then the issue was found. Leaking pipe. Glen fixed it in no time and now we finally have no leak 😀. He also put the laminate floor and floorboards back down. I called DD Wilson on Tuesday and they came out today (Thursday). Only got charged for the hour call out as well. Honestly cannot recommend these guys enough. Absolute top craftsmen and I will defo use them again.

Just had a conversion job done by Darrens team, conventional boiler to Combi. The ancient system we had needed updating desperately and we were unsure it would last another winter. Had a boiler fitted by DD Wilson Gas Engineers. Turned up on time and was able to get the work done promptly. Customer service was great and quotation were all very competitive. Very happy with their services.

Our existing Worcester boiler was around 12 years old and although it was still working we took the decision to replace it as it was inefficient and had been repaired last year with Chinese parts (that took several days to arrive). We didn’t want it to break down again over the winter, so I arranged 3 quotations from 3 exceptional local firms. Any one of these I am sure would have done a great job so it took an excellent pre sale from Darren to secure the work at the highest quoted price. Why would we pay more? Well the DDwilson quote included a smart HIVE system and a Valiant boiler supplied and fitted. I looked up the reviews on boilers and found the Valiant boiler had been consistently praised by Which as a Best Buy so whilst I was unfamiliar with the brand on the evidence of the reviews this looked like an excellent choice, Darren was able to show me pictures of a system they had fitted on the same day as the quotation and reassured me. The HIVE system gives you complete control over the heating from your mobile. The combination of these two things really added value. The price was straight forward, presented in writing with the whole job detailed. I paid a 2/3 deposit and the materials were delivered the day before the job. The fitters were excellent and carried out the whole job in about 6hrs with minimal disruption. All of the waste was removed. The clincher was Darren arranging for BM developments to remove the cupboard housing the boiler and fit it back after. I liked this professional touch. Billy from BM was excellent. I am not one for faint praise but I would highly recommend DDWilson for your heating system. Straightforward, friendly and reliable.

If I could leave zero stars I would these have made a compleat mess of my home, wrong pipework in leaking boiler and the owner looked like he was on something had to get a different company in to fix there mistakes.

We’ve had a new boiler fitted by DD Wilson. They also replaced 6 radiators and renewed all pipe work. 2 additional radiators were fitted in conservatory and dining room and a hive thermostat and control system installed. The 2 engineers bob and Keith did all this in 2 days. They were professional and efficient and very friendly. We are very happy with all aspects of the work and would highly recommend them.

I'd like to thank Darren and the team at DD Wilson for a fantastic job on our new boiler fit. Boiler was relocated to upstairs to make way for a garage conversion and to get rid of the old non-combi gas guzzler. From start to finish we have been over the moon with the service and work provided. Darren came to tell me the ins and outs of the whole job beforehand, he's a very nice, friendly person and helped to answer all my questions in detail. When the lads arrived they cracked on with the job straight away. They knew exactly what was what and the boiler was up with all the new pipework a lot swifter than I thought it would be. The pipework is super neat and the boiler is spot on. We now have the hive system too. Heating control is easy as from my phone and its all linked to the boiler wirelessly to bring our house into the 21st century (at last). Hot water is spot on, fast, with good pressure (far better than before) and the heating is perfect (and pretty quick to get to temp too). If you are thinking of who to go to for anything related to central heating then you need look no further than these guys. Good fellas, sexy pipework and not a single complaint from a spot on job. I had used DD Wilson previously for my service, and gave them a call more recently when my old boiler started having faults. Darren came out on short notice to give us a quote. He was very pleasant and informative. He explained everything and gave me informed options to keep the cost down. We went for a valiant combi and several new radiators. They were really competitive and even stuck to the quoted price after the materials ended up costing more. They even serviced our fireplace for free! On the day the lads arrived on time. The installation was quick, the lads were very friendly and didn’t seem to mind our over-friendly dogs! They did a lot of prep work to ensure that the carpets were covered and were generally very clean. The job was done in a day and they also ensured that we were aware of how to operate the boiler and new controls before they left. Overall a very professional, quality company. We arranged an appointment with them for checking the boiler as we just moved in a new house. They came and told us basically the boiler what was in the property really dangerous. Had DD-Wilson install a Vaillant eco 28W boiler and from start to finish the whole job was professional and expertly done, no hidden cost or pressure to use them and they put in a quality boiler that I checked and reviewed before buying and even spoke with other engineers who I contacted through the Vaillant website. One engineer said the quote he would have given before seeing the job was just a little more than Darren and that I'm getting a cracking price( must also mention that Darren knocked a few quid off). I even got a quote from British gas, who recommended and offered the same boiler and quoted £1.5k more! I will definitely be recommending them to family and friends, so if your thinking of getting a boiler with all the legal certification and done by experts who are advance Vaillant registered, then look no further from the quote to the job being done, they are in constant contact with you about all the details and delivery times of your choice. Must also mention the two engineers who my dog loved, were absolutely brilliant and knew what they were doing, so don't put your family or self at risk and get DD-Wilson! 5 stars definitely!

We had our boiler fitted today; less than 24 hrs after requesting an installation. Our boiler had broken and needed a lot spending on it, plus time to get parts; so we opted for a new boiler. Darren and his team went out of there way to make sure our first family home has been made safe and secure with a new combi system and radiators. Contacted Darren to have a look at my Aunts boiler and heating system which we knew was getting on and likely needed replacing. An assessment was done and the work agreed. Because I live too far away to just pop over, Darren produced videos before and after to show what was needed and what had been done. Knowing my Aunt suffered with dementia and was also blind, Darren decided on the day to send additional manpower to carry out the work, resulting in it being completed within 2 days. This resulted in less stress and disruption for my Aunt and her home. Darren was always available when I called and provided more than expected. A subsequent visit by my sister, reported the system was very efficient and simple to use. Darren and his team went above and beyond and I would certainly recommend them.

Amazing arrived at 7.45am, lounge and stairs covered in sticky plasic, guys explained to mum, aged 89 what they would be doing and would be finished by 6pm. old emersion and tanks removed along with a 30 year Old BAXI boiler, all pipe work removed and replaced wirh new, new boiler fitted an amazing thermostat that even mum can use, all for an amazing price. I did my research prior to arranging a quote, I messaged some previous customers who had left 5 star reviews and all were genuin. Very pleased from start to finish, quote to install in 6 days. Ps all finished by 5.45pm. One very happy 89 year old, = very happy daughter in law.

My tenant had the misfortune to suffer from a leaking boiler on a bank holiday weekend but Darren from DD Wilson came to the rescue. He quickly sent one of his guys over who diagnosed a badly corroded water cylinder and stopped the leak. He advised me to replace this with a combi boiler system which I agreed to and this was fitted within a few days. The price was good and the service has been excellent. I can whole heartedly recommend Darren and his team to everyone and they will now be my first choice for all future work!

Fantastic company. My boiler broke during Christmas which couldn’t of happened at a worse time. They came out on a Saturday morning and by Sunday my new boiler was up and running. Amazing considering this was over the Christmas period. Lovely lads and would highly recommend this company.

Would like to really thank Sean and Paul for their hard work and effort over the last couple of days, they have done an exceptional job, went the extra mile to minimise exposed piping after the job proved more complex than first thought. I had already agreed a price with Darren (DDWILSON), didn't ask for penny more even though it put nearly an extra day on the whole job. I was a bit dubious at first, because the price he quoted me for 7 radiators and towel radiator and the installation off new boiler and pipework to radiators etc was only a few hundred pound more than what British Gas quoted for a new boiler. Paul and Sean treated my home with great respect, no mess or rubbish left. Not sure who carried out my gas safety check over the years my certificate from last year said this company when I had it done this year the gas man said my fire hadn't been properly serviced in at least 3 years and capped my fire... when telling others about this a friend said dd Wilson did there's also and was in and out in no time is a fast job reli a proper one ???

Darren came out to disconnect an oven and reconnect it at a different address for me, he came across a couple of problems along the way but nothing was too much for him and his team. Fabulous service from DD Wilson, would 100% use them again and recommend their services!!

I had a very very old back boiler removed and the house fitted with a new combi boiler and everything that goes with that. It's obviously a big job, and a job I'd put off for quite a while as I was worried about the disruption of it all plus I didn't know what company to use. I followed Darren's work on Facebook for a while, he often shows videos of his work and I liked his open and honest approach. From initial quote right through to completion Darren, Claire and his team have been nothing but approachable and easy to deal with, and not forgetting patient when I was to-ing and fro-ing between decisions. What can I say? After discovering we needed a new boiler we were quoted, supplied and fitted with a boiler in no time at all. Darren and his team were absolutely faultless with the work they carried out and their communication (vital when your getting jobs done - there's nothing worse than people not getting back to you on time). Forget shopping around for quotes, you won't do better than DD Wilson.

I called dd wilson for a quote to replace our ageing combi boiler, a quote was given, accepted and an install date set. On the day the boiler supplied wasn't the correct spec for our house! But it wasn't a case of "" oh well, we"ll have to come back another date with another boiler"" darren quickly sourced the correct boiler so the install could go ahead and we wouldn't be left without hot water or heating. I was notified every step of the way by claire and darren and the end result was a great combi boiler fitted, So to sum up my review, forget the big firms, dd wilson are a genuine company delivering a fantastic service. Recommendation goes without saying!!!!

From my first contact with Claire over the phone I knew that I was going to be in safe hands. Darren and his young apprentice arrived the following day as agreed and quickly identified the problem with our Valiant Combi Boiler. Darren took the time to explain and show me the issue, he then quickly repaired the fault and gave the boiler a full service. Thanks to DD Wilson we are now nice and warm again. What can I say to backup the 5* rating I've given to DD Wilson - Darren and his team.... They got me out of a right pickle! With a new born baby, and the coldest night of the year so far, our boiler finally threw its hand in! It actually failed on a Friday night, with temps outside dropping to -3, right before the coldest weekend of the year so far! I was pointed in the direction of DD Wilson from another facebook recomendation, and dropped them a message on Saturday to which I got a reply! I dont know how many Gas fitters work weekends but we swapped a few messages on Saturday and had a phone conversation on the Sunday - talk about an above and beyond service! They arrived first thing Monday morning with new boiler in hand and started to fit it. However, problems appeared when our chosen boiler didnt fit, and the location of the boiler was very limited - we had to have a direct replacement so the size and pipe location would fit! DD Wilson hunted down another replacement boiler, one that would fit, one that was still in budget, and fitted it as soon as possible. Darren and his team are a nice friendly bunch, they kept me updated about the problems they faced in getting my heat an water back on, and what they could do to resolve the issue for me - he even offered the loan of fan heaters to help tide us over. The team were very tidy, have done a cracking job and we now have heat and water back on - working better than ever! Highly recommended, if you ever find yourself in a similar situation, drop them a message - even at the weekend, am Im sure they will sort you out and look after you as well as they did me.... Oh, did I also mention that because they worked so fast, they had the new boiler in before I received quotes from other companys - these quotes that are now trickling in are higher than the price DD Wilson charged and they have the boiler fitted, commissioned and up and running! Big thanks once again to Darren and his team - I know who Ill be getting in for my servicing in the future - no need to look any further in my book!

I highly recommend DD Wilson. During boiler health check the engineer spotted some worrying signs that the boiler was dangerously leaking gases. DD Wilson supported me in communicating the problem to my landlord and made it really easy to get the problem resolved. Obviously DD Wilson were much more thorough than the previous company! I was particularly impressed with how knowledgeable the engineers were, and that they took the time to explain problems to the apprentice on-site (I even learned a few things from eavesdropping and they took the time to answer any questions I had). My building is very tall and normally getting issues fixed takes forever, however DD Wilson fitted a brand new boiler straight away. All of the DD Wilson team were polite, cleaned up after themselves and every member of the team made a point of coming up and introducing themselves with a handshake. Before leaving they made sure every radiator and hot tap was working and gave me a little demo on how the new boiler works. Someone even rang me when the job was finished and asked me if there was any problems which was a nice touch. My situation was an emergency that left me without hot water or heating but the boiler was fitted so quickly that it wasn't even an inconvenience!
