Friendly guy, easy to contact, agreed to come over to give us a free quote re various jobs. Turned up on time and did some smaller jobs there and then with no issues at all, really efficient and reasonably priced. Declined to take on certain larger jobs as he works alone and they needed two people, which is fair enough. I don't normally do reviews. Paul is an excellent plumber. After being told I needed a new boiler (old one over 10yrs old) he ordered parts required and now I have a boiler as good as new. Highly recommended. Paul has recently fixed a faulty boiler, provided advice on how to be more cost efficient, and installed a Hive heating system. At all times Paul has been friendly and professional and went over and above in sorting out a minor technical glitch with the Hive system outside of his working hours.

Excellent attention to detail when conducting the service for both gas fire and boiler. Very mindful that any debris was shielded from customers furniture and carpets. Would recommend highly.

It’s a rare thing these days to find someone that turns up and contacts you when they say they will, charges a fair price for the work, does an excellent job and even recommends that you wait a couple of weeks because the part needed (it wasn’t an urgent job) will be cheaper to buy. Paul does all of those things. I used Paul’s services twice recently 1. For a boiler service 2. To fit a hive thermostat and remove an old thermostat and fit a new radiator thermostat. Excellent service and will be using moving forwards for services etc. Refreshing to find good old fashioned Yorkshire service. He’s a nice guy too!

Very pleased with the work Paul did in fixing my gas fireplace which wasn't staying on. He was always professional, used his own shoecovers and protective sheets and cleaned up all mess. He took the fireplace apart, fixed and cleaned in under an hour and charged a reasonable rate. Other engineers couldn't be bothered or didn't have the knowledge to repair it and gave the lazy response of telling me to just buy a new fireplace. Would not hesitate to use Paul's services again.

He is responsive to all emails and correspondence, he comes on time to do the job at a good price, even bleeded a radiator for me that needed doing with no additional charge. Paul was (is) a star. Came to our rescue when our boiler failed on the years coldest day. New boiler fitted a week later and all good - he even liked our biscuits. Would thoroughly recommend.

Paul came to service our boiler and gas fire. The boiler needed a new part, which fortunately, he had in his van, so all that work was completed while he was here. He cleared a lot of soot and debris from behind the fire and it's working so much more efficiently now. He didn't make any mess, despite the soot. He was prompt, professional and reasonably priced. Can highly recommend.

Chose Paul to install our new Baxi combi boiler as our old one was on its last legs. Definitely made the right choice. Paul is a really friendly guy, listens to what you have to say and advises where necessary. The installation was just what I was hoping for, he did a great job of tidying up the pipework from the original boiler and did a nice professional job of the new install. Also installed and set up hive thermostat for us. If you're reading this and thinking about having work done, stop. Just call him, I'm sure you will have made the right choice, I know I did :)

Our gas boiler was becoming temperamental so needed to be serviced. we had lost faith in our previous service provider and the boiler hadn't been looked at for a few years. Paul was recommended by a family member and as he is local to us we gave him a call, which he answered straight away. It wasnt urgent but he was still able to visit the next morning and sent a text to confirm he would be with us at the arranged time, so no waiting in all day for someone who never arrives. The service was carried out professionally and thoroughly and the problem was identified and quickly resolved. a new gasket was fitted and everything adjusted so the boiler now works fine. Paul took the time to explain what was wrong and what needed to be done and despite the boiler being 17 years old didn't just try to sell be a new boiler as some larger outfits might have done. The invoice for the work was surprisingly reasonable compared to our previous service contracts and fairly reflected the time and effort spent at our house that morning. We would not hesitate to use Paul Eastwood Gas Services again for any gas or general plumbing work and would certainly recommend him to anyone else needing a boiler repair or service.
