i would just like to Thank John and his staff for thjey went the extra mile after having finished late in the afternoon early evening about 6pm on Friday the 16th i think it was on on Friday the 16th Dec.; in moving and taking some verry heavy slabs away Ii was almost in tears due their kindness after having worked very hard in paving my neighbours back garden and clearing everything away bless them. They worked very hard the whole time they were paving my neighbours back garden next door and have done a really lovely work in paving my neighbours back garden, I was really taken aback at how lovely it all looked when my neighbour saw me in my garden and invited me to have a look at what was accomplished it looked really lovely. in the light of what i observed at my neighbours invitation and the help they gave me, though I was not a customer as such, i would certainly highly recommend Avon Paving

A Good Job Done Avon Paving gave me a reasonable quote to tarmac my driveway. Each day they arrived on time and put in a strenuous days work. They had to break-up the old drive and then clear away the mountain of rubble. Each evening they cleaned up, and willingly adjusted their schedule to suit us. Once the tarmac was laid and rollered it looks lovely. Hopefully they will also get their payment systems improved before too long. Great job done by people its nice to do business with.

Lovely bunch/great work. We pondered for a while about getting our driveway done (funds) but are very glad we did and found Andy, John and the boys just the ticket. Nothing was too much trouble and it was done in no time. They even don’t pester you for a big upfront payment and were very flexible and accommodating. Just make sure you have good coffee on offer! 😊😎

The team worked efficiently and to a high standard. I am pleased with the end result. General communication from quote to completion was good and the team were always available to answers queries throughout the job.
Met the team by pure chance who were able to quote on the same day. The job turned out to be more involved than expected but this did not phase the team who completed the job effectively and efficiently. Recommended.
I was sat in my car enjoying the beautiful view at Barton on sea, when a Avon paving van pulled in and the occupants had their lunch, once they had finished they wound their windows down threw their rubbish out and drove off, I’m absolutely disgusted by their behaviour and it’s totally unexepytable , if this is the way they treat our beautiful coast line I’d never let them anywhere near my property.

This is not a review about their workmanship but just their general attitude (which is of course highly indicative of their work anyway). I was recently on a bus in busy traffic when an Avon Paving van (PO16 YGH) but sharply in front, causing the bus driver to hit the brakes and all the passengers to be thrown forward. The bus driver sounded the horn but the Avon Paving driver just stuck his middle finger up out of the window. As we followed the vehicle up the road we saw that it was consistently too close to the car in front and when it turned off in to a private driveway it very narrowly missed an old lady who was walking along the pavement (had she not looked up, the driver would have hit her). I would not trust someone like this to come to my house and perform building work as they appear to have no regard for anybody else.
I gave it one star as I can't go any lower. I got my drive done in May 2016 and it started to lift. I contacted Avon Paving who said they would come and look, up to now they have done nothing about it, trading standards have been involved but no joy there. The address shown in the Google search is in no way connected to Avon Paving, I was ment to get a 10 year guarantee which I have received no paperwork no even a receipt they want to be paid in cash (what does that tell you) my quote was VAT included. If you are looking to get your drive done, I would advise against Avon Paving also South Coast Surfacing who the job was given to And M and B paving who carried out the job, and they all have more than one name they go on. If Avon Paving wants to get in touch and sort it out you know my number. Mr Bald.
