I’m sorry to be writing this negative review, as we would much rather have had a positive experience. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with Paul’s service. He only visited twice, and the garden was not maintained as requested. Areas that needed edging were left without it, and the flower beds were not properly weeded or maintained. On his second visit, weed killer was used without informing us, despite us making it very clear that we have a dog and needed to know when it was being used. It has now been over four weeks since the first application and the weeds are still there. In our experience, shop-bought weed killer has acted quicker, and we could have done this ourselves for a fraction of the cost. The leaf blower was also used carelessly, blowing debris and gravel all over our car and driveway, with stones hitting the front window and leaving the area in a bigger mess than when he started. The photos are after the second visit. We raised all of these concerns (with photos) and gave Paul the opportunity to come back and put things right. He did not come back. Instead he told us that as we clearly weren’t happy with what he’d done that we should just cancel. We told him we would be leaving an honest review, yet he made no further attempt to resolve matters or even respond. He may choose to respond negatively to this review, but we gave him every opportunity to put things right before leaving it. Based on our experience, we would not use or recommend Paul’s services.
Used Gorilla Gardening a few times and was relatively happy with the service, however, I had guests at my property and needed the garden cutting. Arranged 3 times with him and 3 times he didn’t turn up. Sent messages and he read them and didn’t respond. Very unprofessional. Avoid!

Really pleased. Messaged Paul very last minute towards the end of the day Friday and he came over and quoted for several overgrown lawns. All sorted by Monday. The area is looking much better. Will now be maintaining this for me as its a big job. Many thanks for today. Melissa
Superb company to work with, I have used Paul to work on several projects as well as the regular maintenance on my properties. Can’t recommend him highly enough very professional, reliable and knowledgeable.
Highly disappointed with this company. I had inboxed asking for a quote for my overgrown garden and we agreed a day. He didn’t turn up so I messaged asking if he’d still be coming (I understand that sometimes jobs can over run and timings can be a little out) to then be messaged back in the evening (two hours past agreed time) to say that they were unable to make it due to being at another job. - again i understand sometimes these things can’t be helped. He came round, had a look around, quoted and in all fairness I was very happy with proceeding. My main ask was that everything just needed shredding and killed. I wasn’t really bothered about a great finish. I’ve recently come out of hospital so I just needed a start on the jungle that we call our garden. I messaged the next day to book in. We had agreed it would be started over two weekends. Messaged to check, it was confirmed. The weekend arrived and no one came. Messages were ignored and then another weekend came and still ignored. Eventually I was messaged back and reassured that the job would be done. I was told one of the lads start the garden. They arrived at 11am, dropped a lad off who clearly had never gardened before and by 12/12:30 he had disappeared. Came back around 2ish and then decided that he was done for the day at 3-4. The owner explained to my partner that they’d be back through the week to do bits and the job would be done. As expected. It’s been left, all messages have been ignored and I’m honestly so disappointed. I do not recommend this company. A lot of unnecessary messing around. If it was just too much on their plate they could of just addressed this and I would of looked else where.
