Have used this company for 4 years now cutting big hedges in my front garden and they do an excellent job on a years growth.Also go the extra mile noticing other bits around need the chop.On time although quite a journey to me,leave everything neat and tidy and take away all the cuttings.Pleasant and friendly.Recommend.

I was very pleased with Ace Garden Maintenance. I needed a dead solanum removing from from the trellis at the back of the garden which had become very entangled over the years. I also needed 2 old trellis panels replacing and painting to match the existing and I also needed a jasmine on the other side of the garden trimming. We were initially happy with the service they provided, but in only a few months they have raised prices dramatically and for the small patio we have and a job that takes less than an hour to finish, they charge an insane fixed amount (no matter how big the patio is) + additional fees depending on size plus amount of work + parking fees. We will sadly not request their services anymore. Not worth it if you have a small patio/garden!

Said they’d come round on a particular morning to look at the garden and quote on the job but never turned up, didn’t contact to apologise or explain, didn’t respond to my email asking what had happened. Did get back in contact with me when I posted this review and apologised and offered to come round to quote but by then I'd found an alternative.

Mo and the team were amazing to work with. We were overseas throughout the initial quote and proposal stage but this was no problem for Mo who arranged a visit to the property to get a good idea of the work required and provide an accurate quote. Every email was responded to quickly with clearly. We were on a tight deadline as we were preparing to sell and not only did Mo manage to fit us in, but the quality of the job was faultless. We would wholeheartedly recommend him and the team.

They had tidy up a very overgrown front and back garden in around four hours! I have bindweed everywhere in my front garden and George cleared them all! I could not see my back garden shed because of an overgrown raspberry bush and they cleared that as well. They also took out all the debris and rubbish leaving only plants I wanted. Excellent work. Ace were professional, courteous and patient, even though they had to travel a little out of their normal area. My large overgrown and unattended garden was give a full tidy up, including pruning of trees and bushes, deweeding, lawn mowing, borders tidy and removal of all the rubbish. I had an emergency with my pond, overnight it started leaking and only had 12 inches of water when I saw it. I phoned ACE Garden Maintenance, and within 45 minutes someone was at my house. Within an hour three men were here , saving the Fish ( 35) and providing them with a temporary in an old bath. They then discussed a rescue plan , which I agreed . By the next morning the pond had been emptied, cleaned and re-lined. By the evening the pond had been filled, treated and the fish put back. I would recommend Ace Maintenance, not only for the speed in which they acted, but also the way they calmed me down, I am 84, and their professional manner and very reasonable costs. ACE Maintenance are A1.

We’ve been doing quite a few works in the house recently and I know the pain of finding the right people. Mo and his team were a lucky find. I contacted them at a busy moment and at some point they were not sure they can squeeze me in but I was happy to wait as long as required as from the first communication it felt that I found a trustworthy contractor. And they proved to be honest, listening and determined team that will do their best to help and not let you down in any way, that are willing to go an extra mile to achieve perfection and make even a demanding customer happy. As a residential block, we were given a real headache when our insurers insisted we clear our garage roofs of all vegetation, plants, moss and assorted debris that had accumulated/grown undisturbed for many years. The job was too big and difficult for us to do ourselves, so we called in the specialist firm, Ace Maintenance. A team of 4 guys spent a full day doing an extremely thorough job – pruning and cutting back overhanging trees and bushes, and brushing, raking and pressure-hosing the extensive roofs of our garage blocks. I was greatly impressed by the high standard of their work – not only were the roofs cleared of all vegetation etc and thoroughly washed, but also the guys safely and responsibly disposed of all garden waste and debris, and the whole area was left clean and tidy. A painstaking, attentive, efficient and very friendly service – highly recommended!
