We had an excellent experience working with Luke and his company. They made a real effort to use the materials already available in the garden, which not only kept the project sustainable but also helped everything blend beautifully with the existing space. The final design is low‑maintenance, aesthetically pleasing, and perfectly suited to a family with children. The work was completed quickly and efficiently, with a very clean and tidy finish throughout. Whenever unexpected issues came up, they handled them with smart problem‑solving and kept communication clear and consistent. Overall, a fantastic service and a transformation we are genuinely delighted with.

Luke and his team did an absolutely fantastic job at transforming our back garden. Luke was always on hand to answer any questions and suggested many ideas along the way. We had all new fencing, gates, new wooden gazebo, new sleeper beds, artificial lawn, patio and continued this down both sides of the house. Quite a big job but done on time and amazing well. I’m always quite conscious about my neighbours when I have work done but they were considerate to all three sides of my neighbours and ensured their sides were left just as good as ours. The team were punctual, friendly and left the property clean and tidy. (Even jet washing our front drive on leaving!) I asked Luke and his team to install a French drain, and I’m very happy with the service and results. Luke came out quickly to discuss the job, explained everything clearly, and the work was completed within a week of first contact. Overall, a smooth and professional experience.

From the moment of the initial quote, subsequent phone call from Luke (whilst on his holidays!), visit from Luke to agree some bits and pieces I knew I had found the right guys to do the job. Fairly big job including a decking platform up to a conservatory, paving, lawn laying and some other landscaping. Good communication throughout, really good lads on the job who always arrived on time and worked hard all day. Original timeline had to be stretched as some drainage issues were found, but solutions were discussed and found, and I really got the impression they enjoyed the challenge of finding the best and most cost-effective way of dealing with the issue. So pleased with my new garden and have certainly enjoyed the recent sunshine out there with a few beers. Price was inline with what I was expecting to pay and Luke made follow up calls to see how things were after a few weeks to see if there was any snagging... Which there wasn't as Luke certainly prides himself on things being done just right Definitely recommend these guys for any landscaping work you might need

We would highly recommend Luke, John and Steve. They have done a complete refurbishment of our back garden. Despite restricted access they worked around this and nothing was too much trouble.They kept us constantly updated, turned up everyday and have done a fabulous job with great attention to detail. Asked Luke and team to install a French drain for me; really happy with the service, the work, and the result. Luke was able to come over to talk through the job and complete the work within a week of me getting in touch and was really clear explaining the work needed.

Highly recommended- fully landscaped back garden with sandstone paths, full step for kitchen extension, lawn and edging. Polite, efficient, tidy and transformed the outdoor space. Completed on time. Excellent workmanship.

Luke and his team were incredibly hard working for the two weeks they worked on our garden. Transforming it from a paved back yard into a fantastic garden space with porcelain patio, fresh green turf and brand new fencing. We can't wait to use it. It was all done professionally and Luke was really knowledgeable about every aspect of the project. We had a few people quote for the job but it was clear MCR Landscaping were the best!

I drew him a plan of how I wanted it to look and then the team came in when they promised to and completed the job in 3 days. Hard working, polite and incredibly friendly team. Couldn’t recommend them more for any garden work that needs doing in Manchester.

Luke and the lads done an amazing job of my back garden, they installed a new Indian stone patio area with drainage along the house, a new artificial lawn and small decking area at the back of my garden. I’m so happy with the finished product and communication from Luke from start to finish was spot on. Couldn’t have asked for a better job, definitely recommend these lads!!!

So my review is not for a job done but to highlight the kindness that Luke showed me in a desperate time. Backstory- I paid 8k for my garden and the landscaper didn’t complete the job (it was 90% done) and seemed to vanish with funds. I posted the job to be online and was rejected by various landscapers who said they would need to start from scratch and that would be another full cost. I called Luke’s number for Manchester landscaping via a google search and I’m so glad I did, I broke down in tears as I explained my situation (I had called 8+ landscapers with no luck) Luke was kind, with no judgement about my situation, he even went so far as to offer to do the job for free if it would take an hour which was so generous. Luke restored my faith in humanity by showing me kindness over making money which is so rare in this world! The runaway landscaper showed up today and is completing the job so I have not met Luke or used his services however I will be recommending him to anyone who wants landscaping done in the future or if I choose to have more work done. Thank you again for your kindness and I wish the world had more people like you it would be a better place!

I would give zero star but google won’t let me post a review without a star. So I had to give one star. This guy might come across very polite and professional but you won’t see him again once he has had his deposit!! He will pocket your deposit and give you one date after another and bring you to a point where you would give up. As a responsible citizen I’ve warned you now it’s up to you if you want to take a chance. Please note, all these positive reviews are being posted either from himself or his friend & family. DO NOT trust this guy. Response to Luke: you’ve breached the data protection act by sharing your client’s name in the above response. I’ve no idea who this person is. You start jumping, attacking and harassing people when they leave their honest feedback, that they are entitled to, after being robbed by you. Any decent trader would offer a solution won’t start slandering them on a public forum. This is extremely unprofessional and unethical. One zero rating is too many for any decent trader!! Your response confirms, the review left by the above person was genuine and you were expecting it and you were closely monitoring the reviews left here. Luke has just finished sorting out (our mess of) a front yard. He was open to all of our ideas and advised with creativity to help with inspiration. We are really happy with the finished result and would definitely recommend!

Luke and his team did a great job on replacing slippery old decking with a modern but in keeping patio area as well as turning a sloped drive into a level seating area we can enjoy sitting on. They let us know what was going know at each stage and open to changes as the job progressed. They also turned up early each day to get the job finished as quickly as possible.

We are really pleased with the transformation of our front and back garden/yard. Luke was very knowledgeable, talking us through what he would do, when we first met him. The team then got on with the job with no fuss. The Indian Stone actually looks better with a few weeks' age, as the colours come out more clearly. The sleepers are great. We have been inspired to make the most of the space and do lots of planting. We have had lots of positive comments from people walking past.

Absolutely amazing! I wanted to cry when I came home and saw the transformation! Luke was early to the job, the whole thing was done in a day. He did everything (and more) that he said he was going to do. I couldn’t be happier with the result. Really lovely guy, I was more than happy to hand over the money. Really pleased with the work done, one of the things l appreciated most was the transparency and honesty we received from Luke too- no hidden costs, given advance warning on what days they were coming, kept us informed of what was happening and comings and goings etc etc Really love our new garden, it's really neat and tidy and was all done pretty quickly for a competitive price. I would not recommend this company to anyone, after taking payment and finishing the job, they have left a large tree in the back garden. And a concrete post and a metal gate. After numerous calls, messages and messenger they have not been in touch with us.
