Paul and Gemma recently completed some alterations to the layout of my garden. They discussed each phase in a friendly, professional manner, making sure I was happy before proceeding. I am so please with the final results. I would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you both.

As many other reviews have shared, we had a very poor experience with this 'business'. They were uncommunicative, untruthful, unhelpful and ultimately cancelled an agreed project with no notice. Avoid or you'll be disappointed.

Paul and Gemma installed a new path for us in our front garden they were very friendly and professional I would recommend them

Our old panelled garden fence was damaged during the recent high winds and a new fence was the only real option The new feather edged fence was fitted today and I am delighted with the result. The service was very professional and efficient and I would highly recommend Paul & Son

Our first job by Paul & Son- renovating our garden with new fence, patio steps, shaled area and refurbished flower beds - really happy with results ; better than we imagined ; Paul and Gemma made sure we were happy with all their work throughout and responded to any request - work was carried out to timing expected which impressed my husband and myself - and we will use them again

Phone for quote and was promised they would phone back in 30 minutes still waiting 3 days later.

Paul & Gemma were excellent in every aspect of the work they carried out. I explained the design of the garden I wanted, and they created a garden beyond our wildest dreams. For Paul & Gemma nothing was to much trouble, and it was so nice to have 2 such lovely people coming to our garden and creating such a haven for me and my wife to enjoy for many years to come. Excellent work. We had a replacement garden fence constructed to replace a storm damaged one. They were great fitting us in at short notice. Very happy with the results, superb workmanship. Would definitely recommend!

Paul and his wife Gemma built a garden fence for us and repaired a broken stone wall. They did an excellent and professional job, and the communication was great. They did everything they promised and more, (including taking away the old stones) even though I think the ground was harder than expected. THANK YOU GUYS!

This company did a very good job installing a fence for me. Unfortunately when I recently asked them for a quote for more fence work they came to look at the job, but that's the last I heard from them. If you don't want the job just say so. Not good business sense to rile a previously happy customer.

Very, very pleased with this highly professional company. From start to finish they have been excellent at communicating costs etc. and provided the best quality plants. They arrived punctually each time and planted a beautiful hedge, exactly as I had requested. They offered very good advice - certainly know their gardening! Highly recommended.

We had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the owner of this business. It was not related to any gardening work, however, be aware that he is extremely rude and aggressive. Should you use their services, you are likely to deal with him and my advice would be to stay away.

I was very pleased with the service offered by Gemma and Paul. They undertook a range of work in my garden to clear a large amount of ivy, level and re-lay some paving, remove blown plaster from external garden walls, erect a new fence and remove a tree and its stump. They left my garden looking like new. I found them to be professional, friendly and hard working over the few days they were with me and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

We decided to go for Paul and Sons because of the positive reviews and their years of experience. Unfortunately they where far from professional. We had arranged a time and date with them, to which they didn't turn up to. We called multiple times and had no response. We understand things come up and times have to be changed but for them not to get back to us at all (its been weeks) is rude and unprofessional. If this is how they have handled a meeting I can't imagine to think how they would handle the actual work that needed to be done. I advise you save you time (and the stress) and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Reply to Paul & Sons: I would like politely ask that you do not lie about what happened. I would like to reiterate they did not call to say they where running late like their reply mentions. Unfortunately I cant go that far back in my call log to prove that I didn't receive a courtesy call. Paul and Sons seem to have a great portfolio however unfortunately this has been my personal experience.

Thrilled with the complete transformation of our garden . Paul,Gemma and Martin have done an amazing job, working hard to deliver such a demanding and intricate design. They kept going as they are perfectionists and wouldn't settle for just an 'ok' job . Would definitely recommend using them , well worth the wait as they're in such demand . Asked for Paul et al to come and fit new fencing at my mothers property. Its a family business with everyone helping out, even so they are a very efficient and reliable team (with the wife seemingly doing all the lifting!). They came measured up and gave a quote within the timeframe. The materials were of very high quality and the job and workmanship carried out very efficiently and of a high standard. I would definitely recommend to all.

Called Paul as I need to move a 56kg planter over a 6ft fence, thinking the fence would need to be taken down. Paul came out the same day and with the help of his wife lifted it over the fence within 15 minutes. I cannot thank them enough for such a quick service. I would definitely call Paul for any fencing or gardening issues I have in the future

We work with domestic and commercial clients of all sizes and doing all sorts of gardening, landscaping and exterior work. We can provide contract gardening services and regular garden maintenanceprogrammes, work on one-off projects, or design and create a garden from scratch. Is what there testimony states on the website. When I called I was told they wouldn't be interested. I was looking to have astro laid and some stones around a paved garden. I rang for advice and then asked how much they would charge and was told we wouldn't be interested sorry. Not as to sure why as I have the means to pay for it, first time ive ever felt the need to review a place before, just shocked I was palmed off.

I'm very pleased with Paul & Son Gardening work at my property in Victoria Park. The Front and back garden were completely cleared of all trees. shrubs and weeds. Previously it looked like a jungle ! The lawn was replaced with chippings. It now looks neat and tidy. I am very impressed with the quality of their work and communication before and after. I can highly recommend Paul & Son Gardening and I will use for any future gardening work at my properties in Cardiff.

Employs people off the cards because they are cheap labour and this is reflected in the workmanship and attitude to complaints. I am sure one of his labourers was high as a kite whilst working.

Paul & Gemma have made a fantastic job of our patio and garden and have provided good value for money. They have been professional, hard working and reliable, and I have no hesitation in recommending their services.

Really disappointed- Gemma came out to see what needed doing and said she'd be in touch within a couple of days. However, three weeks later no response and phone calls are not answered. If they don't want the work, that's fine, but it's common courtesy to let you know. It's extremely rude not to get back to you, I've wasted time when I could've found someone else to do it.

After reading all of the reviews, I was looking forward to seeing what ideas Paul & sons would come up with for my garden. I was more than disappointed when i waited in and they failed to show up TWICE, I didn't even get a phone call from them to notify me that nobody would be coming.

Gemma and Paul did an absolutely fantastic job on our garden. They went above and beyond what was asked of them and their attention to detail was a real highlight. The finish they produced was brilliant and I would certainly recommend them to others. Thanks both!

My front garden had always been difficult to maintain as it was dark,damp and north facing.Last winter`s wet weather finished it off completely. Paul and son rescued it by clearing the mess and laying gravel.It looks good and the work was carried out swiftly and cleanly at a very reasonable cost to me.It is now easy to maintain,many thanks to Paul and Sons.
