Recently purchased a Garden Drop Spreader on-line. When the item was assembled a small cover from the centre of the wheel was missing. After contacting customer service, Kathy, arranged a replacement immediately. 5* customer service. Just need to wait for spring now to use!

Great for gardening

Great staff, so helpful and friendly Loading can be slow, as they are extremely busy coming into the summer months. You could have 9 lorries in front of you, but once they start to load, it's very quick.

Absolutely Shambolic company. I reported that about 20 seed packets i had tried to grow on 1st April 2023 and just after this, that most seedlings have died or were stunted , i sent in barcodes on the New Horizon bags and asked for it to be looked at URGENTLY and that I wanted a refund for all bags purchased and compensation for lost of flowers and veg, they have photos the lot and still nothing has been done. I will be getting further Advice on this having been sold this also like others have said lots of pieces of wood in bag - NOT TOUCH ANYTHING WESTLANDS ITS RUBBISH .

Wjazd na załadunek (plandeki): (54.4900563, -6.8122621) Przed wjazdem na teren firmy, najpóźniej przy portierni musisz otworzyć dwa boki naczepy. Godzina w kolejce na drodze, godzina czekania na terenie firmy i 25 minut załadunku. ‼️Po załadunku nie zamykaj naczepy (dwóch boków)‼️ Tylko tak jedź na wyjazd i zaparkuj na jednej z dwóch wag,portier musi sprawdzić zabezpieczenie załadunku. ‼️Uważaj na przeładowanie osi‼️ Ładują 20 palet po dwie od początku do końca i do drzwi pozostaje 1,5 metra i 12 t na osi ciągnącej. Przestawienie dwóch palet nie sprawiło wózkowemu problemu. Ogólnie nie miłe traktowanie europejskich kierowców przez portierów i głupie zasady taki jak kask na głowie, nie wiem co powinno mnie spaść na głowę, przecież nie ładują dźwigiem) Da się przytulić w pobliżu firmy na pauzę.

I was told the topsoil was screened to 10mm size of stone can't understand why there would be any stone however measured the stones in the product they were over 100mm. After sending photos was then told there must be something wrong with there screening process. Don't believe there is a screening process. Don't buy westland topsoil full of stones sticks and hair.

Purchased a bag of topsoil for a small job in my own garden. When I opened the bag Ifound piece s of wood, dried root's,a few stones and some hard lumps of sandy clay not the quality I expected. The soil was purchased from sainsburys and the qa code is 2215218.

Just bought some bags of their Top Soil that was described as Specially Screened for High Quality. The first bag I opened had pieces of wood in it, some 6" in length. How is this screened. Would definitely not recommend this product.

Compost? More like very finely shredded old Christmas trees / bark. I'm in the gardening industry for over 20 years and I can honestly say the quality of Westland composts has vastly deteriorated in the last 15 months ... it simply does not hold moisture, is completely unusable for seed sowing or pot plants as it appears to only consist of fibrous matter - which means it is too course for seedlings, does not hold any nutrients, plus when watering the water just drains out immediately. I purposely bought Westland Tomato grow bags and they are a serious pain to try to water given that they absorb next to no water, instead the water just pours out underneath even though the "compost" is bone dry. Think of the stuff you have left over after sieving a course compost, and basically that is what is now being sold as "multi-purpose compost". Westland used to sell quality reliable composts, but whatever is going on, i'm sorry to say that I my opinion their product line is now sub-standard for the purposes of growing seeds or growing plants in pots. I won't be buying their products again.

Having used Westland Jacks Magic Compost for years buying around 40 bags I was disappointed that they changed the mixture yet say it is the same it was dry has no body plants I potted up dryed up within a few days This is not the original mix that they claim compared to previous years Very disappointed will not buy again

You don't want to be there or go there

I took time off work today to go to this place for 10 large bags of peat, only to be told they don't do cash sales, very disappointed. Very unhelpful and just didn't seem to give a hoot. It's not hard to let people know these things by advertising it on the website etc...everyone else does😡

Wouldn't need to be in a hurry can be quite a wait to get served

I was in with the lorry getting loaded, it would be great if they were a bit quicker of loading people
